The chicken was fair, but the beef was extremely tough and dry. The texture was so chewy that it almost felt like beef jerky that had been rehydrated in sauce. The rice also didn't seem fresh and fluffy as I would have expected. The spring rolls were easily the best part of the meal. They were fresh, flavorful, and the highlight of everything we ordered. The boba teas were a bit underwhelming. They were so sweet that the sweetness completely overpowered the tea flavor, making it difficult to appreciate the drink itself. Our total came to about $64, including a 15% tip on a pickup order. At that price point, I expected better quality and value, especially considering the portion size of the Mongolian Beef.
