Well I finally got to check out the place that my fellow Yelpers have been raving about (thx Stephen K and Robin M!) and with good reason I must add. I came in on a Friday evening, shortly after dinner time, the place was about half full. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, 1 on the hotness scale. The dish was just the right size and the touch of hotness nicely balanced the sweetness of the dish. The prices were reasonable. Maybe I was having an off day with my taste buds but I can't agree with my fellow yelpers on this one. Or could it have been the dish I ordered which was simply basil rice with tofu with number 3 heat. Usually thai spice has a way of dancing on my tongue where you get a little heat but not enough to mask the flavor. The fried rice just didn't dance for me. One, it was chock full of onions. I'm talking huge chunks of regular white onions combined with one inch pieces of green onions. There was a mound covering a third of my plate when I was done. Two, not much egg or basil in the dish which therefore did not lend much flavor. On the upside the tofu was cooked well with a good fried texture to the outside but that too did not pick up much flavor. Overall pretty bland. My other half also felt the same about his pad see ew where it lacked any umph. Their website boasts it's authenticity but unless the owner lived or grew up in Thailand, I beg to differ. If I'm around the area with a craving for Thai food again I might give it a try. Otherwise I won't be returning. read more

Eww. This is a terrible American excuse for Thai food. Coconut milk overload with no flavor and nasty prep on the chicken and beef. Why do asian places in America insist on steaming their meat? It just makes it rubbery and flavorless. The only reason people love this place on yelp is because either they have terrible taste and/ or they can't cook at all. Absolutely the best Thai restaurant in Denver! If your coming here talk to Adam, and tell him Jonathan, the guy who ordered 50 sent you. I came to try the food out and was amazed. I ordered pad thai, and asked for it hot, the hottest you can go. and Adam said "above a 5?" I said "yea, how high can you go" They can go as high as you want, but i stuck to 50. Needless to say, they nailed the dish! and it was HOT!!!!!!! I couldn't eat it in one sitting. The food was excellent and so was the atmosphere. The restaurant is in a strip mall, so there's plenty of parking. For those of you that are looking for thai food that can really be spicy, this is the place, hands down!!! read more

First, I'll admit--I'm by no means an expert on Thai food. In fact I've only had Thai food a few times, but that sure didn't stop me from enjoying my lunch at this hole-in-the-wall today. I ate here with a friend who has tried several other Thai restaurants in the Denver area, and this one is one of his favorites. We arrived at 12:30 on a Friday and there was only one other party in the small restaurant. There were only two employees working, but they handled everything competently. The appetizers were a little slow to arrive, but I really didn't have any other complaints about the service. For less than eight bucks I had the lunch combo, which included a small bowl of soup and a hearty portion of drunken noodles with chicken. I requested it as spicy as possible, but I think they took it easy on me (the waitress seemed alarmed when I placed my order). It was spicy enough and very filling. Bottom line: a tasty, inexpensive lunch. I recommend this as a good, quick lunch stop if you're in the mood for some Thai. read more

Do you know how amazing it is to call an Asian restaurant now and try to order food hoping they understand what you said or ask them for suggestions and not understand a word? i'm giving this place 5 stars even despite a semi bad experience the last time i went there. (long story short, they couldn't give me a salad without the dressing on the side. which is understandable because of the way most thai food is prepared, but they neglected to tell me until 15 minutes after we ordered, and they had already said it was fine to order it on the side). the drunken noodles are great, spring rolls great, curry great. everything is delicious in my experience. mangos and sticky rice = heaven on a plate. there can be a bit of a wait, but it's worth the fresh, MSG free ingredients. plus they have plenty of gluten free options for me! sooo convenient that this place is just a few blocks away. read more

This has to be some of the best Thai food I have ever had. My wife and I went here because we saw that there were some good reviews from fellow Yelpers. At first, we wanted to have the food delivered to us, but unfortunately we were outside the delivery radius. Fortunately we were able to find the place. The only problem that we had was finding a parking place. The place is found in what seems to be a strip mall which can make finding parking a little difficult. Once you are inside, be ready for an excellent dining experience. The place is a little small and I personally think that the place was an old florists shop. The service was pretty good when I realized that the lady serving us was also the only person working the register and she was helping with the food in back. The food was delicious and more than made up for any small flaw in the service. We got the Fried Dumplings as an appetizer and I have not had Fried Dumplings that good in years. The sauce that accompanied the Dumplings was excellent. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai and it was the best Pad Thai that I have had in quite some time. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the service was pretty darn good. My only regret is that my wife and I do not live in the delivery radius so we cannot have the food delivered to us. read more

Just had a tasty Lad Nar, like a thick soup full of all dente veggies, and noodles. The waiter did a wonderful job and carefully explained the spice options to make sure the chili didn't overwhelm the flavor. Also a thumbs up to the red curry. The first time I went here was about a year or more ago, when my boyfriend took me here for dinner. I had those really healthy rolls they make with the peanut sauce and i remember them being good. However, we did a take out with them this past monday and they got our order wrong :( we ordered chicken pad thai and got chicken skewers instead. The thai Ice Tea, well I have honestly had better at Swing thai and Tommys Thai. The lady at the counter was nice about me asking for lime and gave me plenty :) i need a lot with my food. A post-movie stumble upon. I'm so happy we did! The food was really fantastic and the service was top-notch! Our server, Adam, was very laid back and friendly, and he pretty much ROCKED at making us feel welcome and comfortable. He also had great suggestions with regards to the menu. Best pad thai in Denver. It is sweet (maybe I have too much of an "American" palate) and absolutely delicious. Spicy levels go from 0-4 (thai hot) but you can order hotter than that if you want. Also, their soups and the silver noodles (pad se woo?) are fantastic as well. This place never disappoints, my go-to spot for thai in Denver. I really like this place! It's one of my go to places for Thai food. I always have difficulty choosing between Pad Kee Mao or Panang curry. Both are really good. I love the eggplant in the Pad Kee Mao. If you usually eat spicy and can take spicy foods. 4 or higher is recommended. The curry is usually a little spicy in general, so 3 or higher for that one. Mango sticky rice is always a treat but too bad it's only seasonal. read more

Given the large crowds and exceedingly long wait time in this hole-in-the-wall restaurant I thought I'd hit the jackpot when I had dinner here the other week. Needless to say, the best part of my dinner was the beer I ordered to drink with it. I ordered the basil friend rice with chicken, and I was extremely disappointed. The dish came out much milder than I ordered it, and the chicken tasted like something that had been thawed out in a microwave. Not only that, the wontons left something to be desired. However, the service was excellent - our waiter was very nice and accommodating. I'd suggest getting a bigger location and hiring a new cook. read more

I lived in Thailand for almost two years. Since returning to the US eight years ago, I have despaired of ever finding authentic Thai food...until last night. Two friends and I went to see Avatar, then stumbled onto this restaurant which is located near the IMAX theater. Learning that a husband and wife couple runs it, with the wife being the cook and a Thai expatriate (her husband Charley waits tables), we were cautiously optimistic. (Note: many Thai restaurants don't have Thai cooks.) To sum up our experience, the food was authentic. It was indistinguishable from what I'd expect in a good restaurant in Ko Samui, Bangkok or Chiang Mai. The Lad Na and yellow curry were superb, and the Tom Ka Gai was very good. We actually ordered extra portions to take home, something I've almost never done before. Afterwards, we learned that they grow their own Thai herbs and spices in their home garden, which helps explain some of the freshness of taste. Right now, you can just drop in to this restaurant on a Sunday night. I expect that soon reservations will be required. read more

This place needs better reviews! The restaurant is cute and small, run by a husband and wife duo (wife and the other chef are both born and raised in Thailand). The food was delicious, very filling, and the servings were perfect. I had the Pad See Ew, the boy had the "Rama" (M7)... absolutely amazing. By far the best Thai I've had in Denver. The owner even sat there for quite a while talking to two customers who came in that were planning a trip to Thailand.. offered advice, told them where to stay away from, and gave them his travel agent's number. They always say that hole-in-the-walls are one of the best places to find great food. This is no exception! You walk in and it's a tiny little dining room with 10-12 small tables. You seat yourself(where you can find it). The server came right over and got our drink orders. I ordered a hot sake all for myself. I had been moving all day and it I was on a mission to get a buzz on. Sake in one hand and the awesome, authentic menu in the other, I tried to decide what I wanted. I am a HUGE fan of curry and since it was a chilly evening, it was a perfect fit. They have a few different kinds but I decided on the pineapple curry. You can choose your heat so I chose a 4 since I love spicy food. It may have actually been a little too much. Next time a 2 or 3 would be fine! All in all, the experience was awesome and not badly priced. If you are craving Thai food and are in the area, this is a great option! read more

I was going to order delivery from another Thai/Vietmese/Chinese restaurant, but decided to give this a try as I love sticky rice and they are the only place that I've seen that actually has it. Yes, I know I ordered a lot of food, but I had to try a couple dishes. I ordered the fried tofu, seafood combo spicy delight stir fry, and the mango sticky rice. Don't know how to describe each as they were all superb. The fried tofu came with a sweet and sour type sauce that was very good. The tofu was perfectly cooked and fried. The seafood combo was so good, I had to stop myself from eating all of it. The veggies that came in it, especially the green beans, were crispy. Though I didn't see a lot of red pepper, which didn't matter to me. I have just enough for one more serving of this because it was sooooo good. Though the one downside was that there was only one large scallop within the dish, but again the clams and squid were perfectly cooked and not overdone. And the sticky rice, oh my, some of the best I've tasted. There's only one other restaurant in Highlands Ranch that serves it this well. The amount I paid for it, including tip was what I expected and very happy with the speed and efficiency of the delivery. Charlie, not sure if he's the owner or not, but he was phenomenal. I talked with him on the phone to see if I was in their delivery area and he even delivered the food. And on my previous post of another restaurant where they forgot the soda and wasn't too fond of me calling to say so, yes, the soda was forgotten..again (what is up with ordering a pepsi and not getting it? lol), but I called and Charlie immediantly came back (apparently he noticed it as well and did a u-turn in the parking lot) to give it to me. Normally I would take a dollar off the tip, but he was so apologetic about it, that I didn't take it off. I honestly can't say a con about anything about this place. I would recommend this place for very good inexpensive asian cusine. I'm not sure of the other poster who said they don't deliver, because they do deliver, which is a plus for me, especially when I'm tired and don't want to go out. Ok, so one con, and this may be what the other poster might have wanted to say, is that they do not deliver on weekends for some reason.
