Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in Colorado! Love the kha nom jeeb appetizer (similar to shiu mai) and khao soi! So flavorful! The coconut ice cream was also delish, and locally made. Definitely make a point to stop here if you're in this area. read more

I came into Thai Paradise after an entire day of skiing. I was immediately greeted and offered a seat. The server promptly came by to take my order. Being famished, I ordered both an appetizer and an entree. I started off with the spring rolls, which were not only tightly packed with ingredients, but also cut into bite-sized pieces. The peanut sauce, however, was bland. For my main dish, I had the pad see ew. It was absolutely delicious and contained a perfectly balanced blend of vegetables, noodles, and chicken. Moreover, unlike some Thai restaurants, this place doesn't drown their food in cooking oil. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for fast service and decent Thai food. read more

Updated review: Disappointing. The Massaman curry had nearly no curry taste. To obtain the proper curry taste, the simmering process has to be undertaken far in advance. Here, the curry sauce was runny, flavor-less and disappointing, watery, actually. The setting is great. Service is slow. Prices are fine for a resort. Tragically, this was, to me, akin to a bowl of white, average chicken meat, with hard, undercooked potatoes, accompanied by a watery sauce having little or no taste. If one was to dump white chicken meat into a pot and drop steamy water over them, toss in a few carrots? You'd unfortunately end up with this $20 plate. It seems to me that if the cooks spent more time either studying how to make, or preparing, the curry sauce, they could have a spectacular restaurant. Sorry, this time, no photos. We were in the area and we decided to have some Thai based on reviews. I ordered the Tom Kah with chicken (bowl size) and a side of rice and was more than enough! cozy little restaurant in ridgeway. it's just up the block from the park in town. i've been here a couple of times and they are consistently good. it looks like a lot of people get take out but i have only dined in. love their drunken noodle and fried rice. you have a choice of proteins or tofu or vegetarian and choice of spice levels. mild is enough for me but medium is tolerable. they're very friendly and always welcoming. they do have several alcohol choices as well. would totally recommend for anyone visiting the area ! read more

What an awesome find in downtown Ridgeway! I haven't had such a high quality Thai food in a very long time and I would 100% go back once I am in that area again. Drunken noodles were freshly made and had the best flavors ever. Thai spicy is finally very spicy, and my SO really enjoyed it. I stuck with a medium and it was a good amount of spice for me :) Their menu has all the traditional things plus a few with a unique twist. Solid Thai food! Wife and I split the basil fried rice with chicken and it was pretty good. We got mild but I wish I would have gone a step up for more flavor. The fried gyoza for the appetizer was good too. Overall solid place. Great food and good value. The service was very good. Also, we came without our dogs so sat inside and it was very pleasant. The only downside was that they would not prepare food to spicy order. After days of camping, living off of prepackaged dehydrated foods and cuties, I was ravenous for some Thai food. A local that I met in ridgeway highly recommended this place! She was Thai and said that it was authentic and to watch out for spice. I bit the bait and called in a pickup order for my all time favorite Thai treat- tofu pad Thai. My order was ready quickly, pick up was fast and painless and I scurried back to my lodging to dig in. Once I started eating, I couldn't stop. I began with vegetarian egg rolls (4 in an order) and they were heavenly! The crunch and medley of vegetables, dipped in sweet and sour sauce made me want to sing and dance. Now time for the main course. A big steaming pile of noodles with tofu, egg, peanut and bean sprouts! The sauce, flavors, textures were all divine. I had enough Thai food to feed a small army and their horses and I loved every minute of it. Not only did the food satisfy my hunger but I laid in a euphoric food coma for hours to come. I will say, the mild was not spicy at all, so I can't speak for the spice here from personal experience, but it was some of the best food of my life! read more

This small restaurant has modest ambiance, the most friendly service, and delicious food. We live in Montrose which is a half hour drive away, and come here whenever we are in the area. Today was Valentine's Day, and when we had finished eating were presented with gift roses. Lovely. read more

The second star is for the nice server and outdoor seating. I'm visiting from California where we have incredible Thai food with a lot of spice and flavor which this place beyond lacked! I got pineapple fried rice and asked for medium spice, there was absolutely no spice and no flavor. We had to ask for chili sauce to add some flavor, I still hated it but my boyfriend ended up eating it and gave this place 3 stars. Willing to try Thai, and not disappointed! Start with Thai rolls that were super fresh. Hubby and I wanted a beer, he tried a Buddha beer, which he said was okay, but the bottle was a work of art. I ordered the Tingtsao beer, but they only had singha, but waitress was kind enough to use a sharply and scratch out name, and write the one I wanted, pretty cute and beer wasn't bad. I had the Pad Kro chicken medium heat, and it was hot! Veggies were big, could have been sliced thinner, but definitely fresh. Husband had pork veggie delight, hot! Both of us sniffled thru the meal. I am very surprised how delicious the food was here!!! I came in with very little expectations, but walked out super full, satisfied and extremely pleased. Seats were set up outside to accommodate social distancing. They took orders at the counter inside then bring your "take out" order to you outside with full paper plates and silverware. This is a hidden gem tucked in the middle of nowhere, packed with lots of punch! Portions were great, seafood was fresh and taste on point. I was quite skeptical to try Thai food in Ridgway. But I am quite honestly blown away by this place. I have had my share of Thai food both in Los Angeles and Las Vegas... and this is the best Thai food I have ever had!!! The crab Rangoon was fresh, crispy and actually had crab meat in it. The Thai rolls were thin and filled with great vegetables. We had both the yellow and red curry and were really happy with them. The Tom yum soup was zesty and flavorful. Decided to try again in March with disappointing results. We are a party of 12 plus so a large financial output to be disappointed with about ten meals. Flavorless meals poorly presented and not memorable. We travel a lot so are good judges. Found out as we were leaving that the business had sold. The previous owners were wonderful, caring and friendly. Loved children and made them feel special. Sadly another good business gone. Won't return. read more

Can't skip this one! Nothing generic or unsavory. Superb service and food complimented by a well-decorated atmosphere. Tom Kha was a refreshing start. Panang curry was a wonder: haven't had too many other places compare in richness of flavor. Scallops were a great option in addition to the regular tofu, chicken, etc. Brown rice hit the spot. I really wish I could give them 5 stars as I do really like the food. I have eaten here a few times as I try to go when I am in town, which is about once every 2 months. The last time I went in I was told that I couldn't sit at the tables and only had the bar option due to my being a single party. I have been seated there before as a single party, so not sure why that night was different. The two people that walked in with me were seated right away at a table. My rating is solely for the items we ordered. Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. We also ordered brown rice with it. When we arrived waiting time was 45 mins which I understand because of to go orders + 3 tables waiting for their food. Girl who took our order was very friendly and quickly took our order. We love Thai food and ate all over the world including where it originated from. Yellow Curry was the worst I have ever tried. Literally NO TASTE but water with some tint of coconut milk. We were so excited to eat Thai when we learned Ouray and Ridgway has it but with 30$ for above items, money went into the drain. Not to mentioned, they didn't even include brown rice that we paid for. Pad Thai was decent. It could have been much better. Will definitely never return. read more
