I ordered the katso chicken sandwich and a wasabi Caesar. Both were amazing and priced very reasonably. The cocktail menu looked interesting although I did not partake in it. Be aware that half of the dining area and the bar are down a flight of stairs in case there is anyone in your party who has walking issues.

There wasn't a single whole, half, or even quarter Brussel in the bowl. I make them at home to know that's $12 for maybe 4 actual Brussels. They aren't an expensive veggie so feeding people just free floating leaves is crazy Wood ear mushroom ramen - 8/10. Not a fan of avocado on ramen but nice bouncy noodles, ample mushrooms, good miso broth. Needed some spice Brisket Sando - 10/10 husband loved it Beef ramen - 7/10 said it was a little bland and salty. This place is fusion but having the toppings be sriracha, soy sauce, and some type of powdered not spicy chili blend is criminal. Give the people some rayu, mayu, and chili crisp oil in a caddy. Even some gochujang would have done the trick. Sriracha isn't vegan and has no real heat. Telluride really loves very safe bland flavors. I get catering to middle America but get brave with your sauces to give normal eaters some options please! I'd go back but probably will smuggle in some toppings because ramen without any heat isn't ramen worth eating.

We grabbed takeout from Teppanyaki Steakhouse in Grand Junction on a Thursday night while traveling…read morethrough town. It was an easy walk from our hotel, which was perfect because it was late, we were tired, and we were hungry. From the outside, it's connected to the Ramada and doesn't necessarily look like a fancy steakhouse. But once you walk in, it has a nice Japanese-style vibe. They also have an outdoor patio with market lights that would probably be great in warmer weather. It was mid-March and cold, so nobody was sitting outside. The young man who greeted us at the front was fantastic -- very friendly and super helpful. We grabbed menus and sat near the bar for a few minutes while deciding what to order. Inside, it's set up like a traditional hibachi steakhouse with several tables where chefs cook right in front of you. There were four hibachi stations and three of them were already full when we arrived, which tells you the place is pretty popular. I only saw one chef at the time, though, and a couple more groups came in while we were waiting for our food, so hopefully they had more chefs coming on -- otherwise that could turn into a long wait. I ordered the hibachi ribeye, which came with vegetables, fried rice, and a salad. The ribeye was tender and cooked perfectly. The vegetables (carrots, mushrooms, and zucchini) were really good. The fried rice was decent but could have used a little more seasoning. The salad looked pretty basic at first -- mostly iceberg lettuce with half a cherry tomato hiding at the bottom -- but I wanted to try the ginger dressing. That dressing was actually delicious and tasted homemade, and I ended up eating the whole thing. My husband ordered one of their combo bowls with chicken and fried rice, which he said was very good. He chose the miso soup instead of salad, and that was the only miss of the meal. It didn't really taste like the traditional miso soup we're used to. Overall, the food was very good and the service from the host made a great first impression. If we pass through Grand Junction again, we'd definitely consider stopping here again.

Our server didn't really seem to know what the menu was which was kind of odd. The sushi was quite good. The tempura was a little bland, and the unadon eel donburi was ok. We were seated in a back room, so it was actually pretty nice and quiet. Overall decent food, nothing special.
