Been going here since high school. It's always consistent. Great food and huge portions. Haven't been back but I do crave it sometimes.

Pork bbq spare rib shrimp fried rice
Joshua O.

I ordered the bbq pork spare rib with shrimp fried rice on Sep 14. It was so good. The ribs were mostly tender, some parts were tough. I loved the sauce that was included, I got to control the amount I poured. The shrimp fried rice was light and fluffy. Perfect with the bbq pork. I was full by the end of the meal. The server came back to refill our glasses of water which was appreciated. Ambiance was nice. A bit cozy, no music, just other customers talking in the background.

We liked this place as a family with a child. The food was reasonably priced with good portions and quality. Parking was easy too! It's reliable Thai food for sure! I'd recommend it.

Thai Original BBQ is a bookmark of my childhood. My friends and I frequented this place often as high schoolers whenever we had the money to eat out, we would certainly choose this restaurant. Fast forward 30 years and they still serve the same tasty dishes without fail. Service is EXCELLENT. Super quick and they bring out everything you need before you ask. Ambiance is family style. Can cater to larger parties for family gatherings or events. The Thai BBQ chicken meal comes with rice and that Thai BBQ yummy juicy chicken protein goodness. It comes with rice, but you can also get it a la carte. Get the SATAY it is flavorful juicy with a hint of roasted smoky flavor. Make sure to get extra dipping sauce. You won't regret this. Menu: Larb Neau Spicy. Ground beef cooked and mixed with dried chili, fresh chilies, lime juice, herb and spices. Topped off with mint leaves and served on a bed of fresh lettuce. Sounds just the way it's described. You can eat this with lettuce provided as an appetizer or order extra rice and make it a Thai Larb Neau bowl. We gobbled it up so no pics of this. Next time. After 30 years, it was just as good as we remembered.

Bon appetite

Authentic Thai restaurant in Glendale, CA. They have mostly vegetarian foods plus their bbq tastes good specially the chicken platter. Service is fast with friendly staffs. Nice, clean, family friendly restaurant discovered. Thank you Noli and Mareng Nene for the treat. Happy tummy.

We used to come to this spot since my kid was baby baby now she is 25 yrs old!! We don't live in the area anymore, but when we are in Glendale this spot is a must!! We stop every single time! And the food is still amazing. The ambiance is friendly and family oriented. Their service has always been good, they attend to you fast and friendly. Love this place, wish I can take this to IE!!

We are so glad we did! The casual atmosphere out front and the lunch special banner lead us to believe we'd be having a cheaper dinner. We were ushered into a beautiful outdoor patio dining area, greeted by very friendly staff and supplied with carefully selected table settings. The environment was charming and relaxing. The menu was large and varied. We settled on a few things to try and wished we could have ordered more. The Greek salad was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced. The chicken breast kabob plate was so generous in its portions, the chicken skewers were huge. The rice was wonderful as was everything else. We also got the egg boat to share and the bread was incredible. We definitely want to go back and try other wood fired items there. I'm sure the pizza is wonderful if it uses the same bread. Pricing on everything was very reasonable considering all the factors. I definitely got the impression that this is run with love by a family. They were friendly and kind, and their love of food showed in every bite. Their pride in their endeavor showed in all of the little touches in creating a nice atmosphere. We will be back

I've been hesitant because it is in a trickier area, but I had no issues pulling in or parking! They have a few spots in the front, but otherwise I'm sure there is parking around the neighborhood. You walk inside to order and it is not a fancy looking place, but the people cooking the meat definitely know what they're doing!! It felt like an authentic Texas bbq spot. I didn't want the frills, I just wanted good food and that's what I got. I sat at a little table outside which was perfectly pleasant! The road wasn't too loud or anything. But really, the sandwich was SO good. I doused it in the spicy bbq and added the pickles and coleslaw and I ate the WHOLE thing. I shouldn't have. But it was great!! I want to come back and try their other bbq meats and sides!! I loved the pulled pork sandwich and would recommend sharing it if you do order it. Yum!! The service was great, too!!

The accurate rain forecast changed our Sunday adventuring plans, but considering the food we were…read moregoing to get into, BBQ felt like a sensible substitute. We hadn't visited since February, 2020. Before the pandemic might as well have been 10 years ago, if the world shut down 6 years ago. We were overdue for a followup visit. Judging by how the food went down, we were sore for it. We ordered the Big Tex: four meats and four sides - tri-tip, brisket, pulled pork and links; kale greens, bbq beans, mac and cheese and fries. We opted for the cornbread in the roll slot. It should be the top meats in your order, by premium scale and availability, but more often than they should be, the brisket/tri-tip selections are, 90%, obligatory orders. I think I have a love/hate relationship with the way LA treats the pepperoni pizza of bbq meats. Swinging Door broke us off proper though. Not too fatty. Great tenderism. And the accompanying sauce complemented the smoked all stars, rather than compensated for lack of flavor. Didn't stop me from loving their Whiskey bbq sauce though. The beans were a true bbq side, swimming in a mild sauce and containing lovely chunks of link. And the kale greens - sheesh - I think they might've switched to kale since our first visit. An effective exercise in alternative ruffage that holds seasoning and jucies for a similar bbq/soulfoud bite. We live further away now. Took the food to go, to prevent the intermittent rain from foiling more of our plans. It traveled well. And since I'm using our leftover bbq sauce on every other meal I cook, I'd say we successfully made do with our lunch substitute.

Bludso's brisket is tender and marinated just right. While some briskets are too salty, Bludso's maintains a light and balanced flavor profile, which lets me enjoy the flavor of the beef. However, be warned that some leaner cuts might be a tad bit dry. The pork ribs were also great. although they weren't "fall off the bone" soft, it's still one of the best ones I've had in LA. The sides were also good. They weren't mind blowing but they were definitely comforting. Overall, Bludso's is a great BBQ spot that I would come to again and again. Definitely one of the best in LA. Note: I do have to say that if you're from Texas, you might not be "wow'd". Franklin BBQ in Austin is leagues above both Bludso's and Moo's (first time in my life having brisket melt in my mouth!!). But if you've never left LA, Bludso's will probably be the some of the best BBQ you've had in your life!

While portions…read morehave gradually gotten smaller as prices continue to rise, I want to focus mainly on the food quality itself. And overall, Bludso's is still a solid BBQ joint that I'll continue coming back to. Brisket - 4.5/5, Lean Brisket - 3.5/5. The standout here is definitely the beef brisket. They offer two versions: regular brisket and lean brisket. The regular brisket is well-smoked, with tender, moist meat that pulls apart nicely. The dry rub has a great balance of seasoning and flavor without overpowering the beef. My only complaint is that the brisket can be a little fattier than I'd prefer. On the other hand, the lean brisket swings too far in the opposite direction; it has too much lean meat. It loses too much moisture and ends up noticeably dry. Honestly, I wish they offered something right in between the two cuts because the flavor itself is excellent. Even so, the brisket remains the reason I keep returning. Pork Ribs - 3.5/5. The pork ribs are good, though not particularly memorable compared to some of the better BBQ spots around. The flavor is there, but the ribs were slightly dry and lacked the tenderness I was hoping for. The taste and texture just didn't fully come together for me. BBQ Chicken - 2.5/5. The BBQ chicken was probably the weakest meat option I tried. The chicken was properly smoked, but the smokiness completely dominated everything else. I couldn't really pick up much seasoning or flavor beyond the smoke, which made it feel one-dimensional and less interesting overall. As for the sides, the cornbread and baked beans were both above average. The cornbread had a good texture and flavor, while the baked beans had a nice depth and complexity that complemented the BBQ well. The mac and cheese, however, was a letdown for me since it tasted a bit dry. Overall, Bludso's BBQ is still a dependable place for BBQ in LA, especially if you're craving brisket. It may not be perfect across the board. Still, the quality of the smoked meats - particularly the brisket - keeps it firmly in my regular rotation.

I saw a few YouTubers eating food from moo's Craft so knew I had to have it on my list of places to try when visiting socal. My group and I decided to stop here for our lunch before going to universal studios since it was along the way. Parking is pretty confusing for us. They state there's a lot behind the building to park at, but it looks liked you have to pay and we weren't sure which lot. So we just did street parking. We did go around 1:30 pm on a Thursday, so did not have much of an issue with finding street parking. Inside the restaurant, they have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. There's no wait staff, so you go to the counter and order and once it's ready, they call your name/number and you pick up your tray of food from the counter. We ordered the El trio platter, which comes with 1 lbs of brisket, 1 lbs of pork ribs, 2 sausages (chili relleno and cheddar jalapeno) and 2 sides (which we chose Mac and cheese and red potato salad). We also saw the burgers from YouTube so got 2 of the Thicc burgers to share among everyone. We got a sides of the Texas chili to try. Everything was great. Our group really enjoyed the food and everyone said the BBQ was some of the best they've had. The brisket was really tender and seasoned well. Everything was seasoned well actually. The burger was great. It was soft, great flavor and was just really solid. One of the best burgers I've had. The ribs were everyone's least favorite, but that just means the other food tasted better. Ribs were still good. All the sides were delicious as well. The Texas chili was great, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the potato salad tasted homemade. We could tell it was made in house. The sweet iced tea was refreshing, not overly sweet b Overall, I'll have to come back here to try their desserts and other items. I'll for sure be getting the burger and brisket again.

This restaurant is an Armenian/Georgian/Eastern European style eatery. I was there yesterday around 4:15pm. As I was about to walk in, Gayane with a pleasant smile wanted to know if I wanted to eat in or order food to go. I told her I would like to sit on the patio, soak up the sun and the beautiful weather. She brought me a menu and looking at the menu which had a lot of entreés to choose from, I decided to go with their 5x Large Khinkali with ground beef that was topped and garnished with fresh cilantro & pomegranate. I also ordered 1x Large Blinchik (stuffed with Meat) & 1x large Chicken BBQ Wrap that came with a side of tomato sauce. The Chicken Wrap was toasted very well and inside were a lot of healthy vegetables: Mayo, Ketchup, Raw Onions, Pickles, Cilantro, Lettuce & tomato. All the fine dishes tasted divine, flavorful and very fresh!! I also wanted to try couple of their fruit juices and the Mikado dessert, but she told me they were out. It's ok, there will definitely be a next time because I am planning to return back next time I am in Glendale. For one person it was a lot of food. Total came out to be $57.38. Didn't make or break the bank. Was very content & happy with my dining experience!! Comfortable setting and had some left overs too..
