Excellent service- great help with deciding which dishes to choose. Meals served quickly. Water with no ice is nice and cold. Lunch begins with the sublime flavor-exploding Coconut Soup. Veggies are crisp--adding just the right pop of flavor. The Pad Pak Ruam (Thai hot) did not disappoint. Rama Delight (from the dinner menu) was cooked perfectly- crispy veggies and tender chicken. My hotel was right next door and after eating here on Tuesday night I ordered from them again on Wednesday! Really awesome Thai food and they have carryout. The decor of the restaurant is very chic, if I wasn't alone I would have eaten there! The spring roll appetizer was about a dozen little rolls (maybe less) but they were so good! I loved that they were bite-sized! The dipping sauce was nice and spicy for those who appreciate a good kick . . . There's only one Thai dish that isn't too spicy for me and it's chicken Pad See Ew which was really great here - flavor was good and there was a hint of ginger which I love! Comparable to Pad Thai in downtown Carmel. The portions sizes are moderate and suitable if you're not too hungry. I ordered the veggie Pad Thai which was super flavorful. The noodles were more soggy than expected though. Each order also came with a side salad which basically tasted like coleslaw. On the lunch menu I believe it said each customer would get a spring roll but we didn't... The Thai Ice Tea was super yummy. I would highly recommend if you're looking for something milky and sweet. Service wise it seemed like they were short a few people so service was a little slow. Water pouring techniques were a bit sloppy but that's not something that bothered me. read more

The duck red curry was delicious!! It had a bit of a kick to it, but it wasn't so spicy that I couldn't enjoy eating it. If you tell your waiter, he'll adjust the spice level for you. A group of us came in for lunch, it was a little early, so we beat the crowd. We figured the service would be good cause it wasn't busy, however, it was still kind of slow. Once the came and took our orders we waited about 20 mins for food. I ordered the pad Thai lunch special, which came with a salad, egg roll, and soup. The salad was fine, it was served in a little boxie ramekin, which made it difficult to eat, but it was mostly tasty. Loved the egg roll and the dipping sauce, could eaten a dozen of them. The Pad Thai was AWESOME! I order mine medium hot with chicken and extra egg, it's freaking DELICIOUS!! Will definitely be back soon. Just hope the service is a little stronger. read more

Best thai food I've tried in the Castelton/Fishers area! For one, the prices are RIGHT at Thai Orchard, extremely reasonable pricing and LARGE portions, which I appreciate for leftovers. I can usually get 1-3 meals out of each entree. The food is tasty and flavorful and has lots of color and veggies in the dishes. Also they have an excellent lunch special which includes, soup, and entree (decently sized!), spring roll. Everything I've had there is delicious! read more

I love Thai food, so when I saw on my Yelp app for iPhone that there's a Thai restaurant near my hotel, I was like, Score! That was great. I went into the restaurant on a crisp Wednesday evening, and there's really nobody around, except for a few diners. Empty. I guess it was one of those nights. I promptly ordered off the menu and asked for take out. The lady was more than welcoming, and maybe I should eat there again, but we'll see. I had the staples of Pad Thai with chicken medium spicy and the red curry with beef and white rice real spicy. Guess you can say, I am quite adventurous. The curry was average, but not too overwhelming with the spicyness. The Pad Thai was good, but could have been more spicy. My fault, I guess. They probably had the curry previously frozen and reheated, like so many Thai restaurants, but I didn't care. I'd like to try Thai places that really make their curries from scratch from the moment you order. I would be interested in how that turns out. read more

I called the phone number on the website tonight at 6:45 (317-578-8155). A man answered, but then hung up on me when I tried to place an order. This happened three times in a row before I called Thai Taste and ordered dinner from them instead. There was no explanation for why he hung up so abruptly as I tried to order. I know it's hard to get good help right now, and sometimes disgruntled employees do whatever they can to hurt the company, but there must be better oversight of staff if an owner wants to run a successful establishment. I have always loved this restaurant but especially in the last year they have been there for me when I need a yummy meal! I have gotten takeout and delivery a lot but have dined in lately and the staff and food are wonderful. With the high demand of Togos they have a great system. Always fast, hot and delicious. My mom and I just had lunch at Thai Orchid (yet again) and I realized that I needed to write a review so that I could guide other people to this amazing place. First, the lunch specials get you some major bang for your buck! The lunch menu is $7.99 and includes salad, a spring roll, and soup. My mom was brave and tried her food hot this time, while I got Thai hot. Both were excellent, as usual. My favorite thing is the garlic pepper with chicken and I love the appetizer salad rolls! Dinner is still reasonably priced and we typically have leftovers. My husband and I default to Thai Orchid when we want to go out but don't know where to go. Typically, this is my go-to for quick Thai food in this area. It is not the BEST, but very good. Today, I placed a pick up order through DoorDash. The first order they gave me was completely wrong. I drove back to get it fixed. The second order they gave me was also wrong. I called back and was told they cannot give me a refund; it must be done through DoorDash, so I filed a complaint. We love the Thai food at Thai Orchid. I have ordered take out and they are very quick and everything is packed nicely and complete in the bags. The food is always great. My favorite dish is the drunken noodles-pad kee mao. I order mine medium with chicken and then I ask for the tray of spices. I like to add the fish sauce with Thai peppers to take it up to a hot level with the salty fish sauce flavor. My wife loves the pad se ew with chicken and she goes mild. My son loves the Basil Fried rice with chicken and mild. They have the best spring rolls. We almost always have to start with some tom kha gai coconut soup. If you go for lunch that is the house soup that comes with the meal but it is veggie for lunch. They have generous portions that having leaving with leftovers for lunch the next day. Occasionally when you go and they are busy the service can be just a tad slow so make sure you go at an off time or give yourself just a little extra time in the busy times. read more

My favorite Thai restaurant in Indy! Walking in feels like you've entered someone's home; I attribute that to the friendliness of the staff and cozy environment. They're knowledgeable about ingredients, which helps so much when you have dietary restrictions! My favorite dish is the tofu panang curry. And their Thai iced teas are to die for! Can't wait to go back soon. :) Update: removing a star because I was really bummed to have driven all the way here today at 3pm, after checking hours online, only to see a sign in the window that they take a staff break M-F from 3-4pm.
