Love it! One of my favorite regular places to eat. My top favorites are their angel wings, the red and yellow curry and the cho chee pompano. Their pad thai and pineapple fried rice are very good standard eats if you never had Thai food before. I never had angel wings before coming here and they are amazing. Yum getting the pompano is definitely a good choice. A whole fried fish, it was very moist and delicious with every bite. Located in a semi busy plaza with other restaurants. Lots of open parking. Customer service is good. It's quick service but not always on you while you eat. Pricing is standard and maybe even on the cheaper side compared to other Thai places. Overall just an ok meal. The restaurant doesn't offer a lunch special with the yellow curry chicken. But that's not enough to effect its rating. However, the yellow curry chicken is supposed to come with chicken, potatoes and carrots. Well, there were two and a half carrots and only a half of one potato. Very disappointed about the starchy vegetables, or lack thereof. Now this is a negative for me, but for others having so much chicken would be a plus. Basically the entire container was chicken. The flavor was just ok. The better part of the meal was the appetizer combo that I ordered. It came with an angel wing, 3 mini crab cakes, 3 beef satays and two spring rolls. The deep fried spring rolls were the best. And if you're ok with imitation crab, these crab cakes were seasoned well and full of spicy flavor. The staff was ok and so was the wait time. Ordered the green curry Lunch special and pad thai. Curry is oily? I dont know but as you can tell by my photo it has seperated (It was still nice and hot, and it still arrived like this. It's also BLAND) I do like the flavor though if it was just a bit more stronger. My "lunch special" also didn't come with rice. Who eats curry without the rice? This is my family's go-to local Thai restaurant. The prices aren't too wild and everything is so tasty. We make sure to get the chicken satay everything because that's our favorite appetizer. It's also usually not that crowded when we go! Service is really amazing because all the girls who work there are really friendly and helpful. After trying the green, red, and yellow curries, I'd have to say my favorite is the green curry with the pad Thai (basic, I know). I was so excited to eat here last night after reading the rave reviews but I was kinda disappointed. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't great either. I was worried that it would be packed on a Saturday night but when we got there around 7 pm, there were only a few parties dining in. We were promptly seated and looked through the menu. They offer typical Thai dishes so we decided on calamari, pad see ew with chicken, and red curry with duck. The calamari came first. The calamari was large rings of squid instead of smaller pieces. This made it a bit difficult to eat since they were freshly fried and were still (temperature) hot. I cut each of the rings up into a few pieces, which caused the breading to break off. The pad see ew was alright. It seemed to be lacking just a bit more flavor. It tasted slightly under seasoned. I love duck curry. I'll order it at almost every Thai restaurant that I go to. With that said, I prefer it with basil. I don't love bell peppers and their duck curry had both red and green. It also has cucumbers in it. There also wasn't as much duck as I would've liked but I get that that's the bulk of the cost in a curry. We were going to get dessert but just wanted to leave instead. I did appreciate that they don't just leave their hot sauces out. The presentation is super cute with the metal basket and glass jars. I also loved the presentation of the rice. Most places will bring you rice in a plain, small white bowl. The serving of rice was large and came in a pretty bowl with its own lid. The staff is very nice but I don't think we'll be back. OMG! This place is so good! I didn't know there was a Thai restaurant in Union City. I came here couple times with my boyfriend and so far its has been good. You can either dine-in or take out, both are good options that I've done. First time coming in, my boyfriend tried the pad see eww with pork and he fell in love with it. The food was hot, and they gave the proper ratio of meat and noodle. For me, I got the beef fried rice with basal. It was delicious. They were not stingy with their ingredients which was a thumbs up. So far this is my favorite Thai restaurant. This place exactly makes legit Thai food, not the imitation ones. Also, the price is decent, each dish is around $8, not too expensive to enjoy. When my boyfriend and I don't have the time to dine-in, we usually order take out and their pretty fast with the orders. It usually takes them about 20 mins., so when we're driving there we already estimate the time, and when we get there we can pay and leave. Their take out is the same size as dining in. I ordered beef pad Thai, chicken pad see ew, rainbow salad and chicken red curry. This was my first time order rainbow salad. It was a warm salad. More like a sauté clear noodles with chicken, shrimps, onion, shredded carrot and shredded wood ear mushroom. Everything was mixed with savory sauce. This was not one of those ordinary salads, but I liked it. Red curry chicken came with a side of steam rice. Curry sauce had little kick to it. It was full of flavor. If you like coconut milk, curry and little spicy, give this curry a try. My disappointment was from beef pad Thai and chicken pad see ew. Noodles were over cooked! Pad see ew noodles were in tiny pieces. Chicken was dry, but broccoli was still raw. It was under seasoning and had no flavor! Pad Thai noodles were stick altogether as 1 giant block! This review is not about the food but about the service. I placed an order for my husband's birthday. One of the items was missing in the bag and he didn't know until he got back home. He went back for it and they charged him for it, showing him a copy of their receipt but not of the online order itself. I have a copy of what I ordered on the confirmation and they told him it wasn't there when it was. He didn't tell me they made him pay for it until he got back home. When you order rice it adds it to the total of the entree and doesn't list it separately. Make sure to keep and show a copy of the order confirmation. They need to know their own system! read more

The Tom Kha soup is so fantastic that before last Christmas I bought several VERY large 32 oz. containers and gave them away as Christmas presents to a few of my friends! We've also been trying a lot of places we hadn't before (like this one). There were four of us and we got Tom Kha, Pad Thai, Garlic Pork, and Honey BBQ. Our order was ready in a reasonable amount of time and the prices were decent. Since the restaurant is in a shopping center, parking is plentiful. Pickup was easy and fast and the staff was friendly. I fell in love with the Tom Kha. You could really taste the coconut, which is my favorite. If you're not a coconut fan, go for the Tom Yum. The Pad Thai was also really tasty. Ordered for delivery via Grubhub. It was packed well. It wasn't very flavorful and didn't feel like Thai food. It felt more like Americanized Chinese food. The sauces for the fried fish was really watery and it didn't fit well with the food. Overall we got: Pad see ew: a little bland and the veggies were chunked and similar to Chinese food lo mein. There weren't any Asian veggies. It was carrots, snap peas and baby corn which was weird. Crab fried rice: kinda had the crab taste but way too much egg Fried fish with sweet and spicy sauce. One in Fremont and one in Newark. Both horrible. I decided tonight to try Thai Kitchen again. We ordered Chicken Satay, Shrimp Pad Thai, Garlic Shrimp and Sweet Rice with Mango. DELICIOUS!Wonderful, prompt and kind service. Comfortable environment and easy parking. Also- stop Doordashing if possible everybody- food just doesn't taste the same. Very few vegetarian options on the menu, although at least they are marked. Not even pad thai- for a Thai place, this is pretty surprising. The appetizers had a vegetarian salad, but that was it - no fried tofu or anything. I ended up getting the only entree (and only vegan item in the whole menu) - pad se-ew, which didn't have any tofu - just noodles and vegetables. I was told it would be 15 minutes - that's kind of a long time for a simple dish. Fortunately it ended up being a bit quicker than that. The noodles were pretty good, but it was too much for a lunch - too much of the same thing. Well feeling a bit like Thai food today and wanting to go to a gelato place near by, I decided that my go-to Thai place would be it. But perhaps it wasn't a good night. It was a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. We ordered the Roasted Duck Red Curry and Stuffed Grilled Shrimp. ~ Roasted Duck Red Curry ~ It came out and I was expecting the quantity of the food to be more than what came on the plate. The plate overwhelmed the dish. I think if it came in a bowl it would've looked a lot more. This is where presentation is key. There was more duck skin than duck meat. But the flavors of red curry were very prominent. ~ Stuffed Grilled Shrimp ~ They give you 4 shrimps with pork placed on top of a split shrimp. Here is where the idea was great, but execution was poor. The pork and shrimp was dry. Perhaps we were too adventurous and should have stuck with the normal fare (pad thai, etc), but that would be boring! Anyways, still this place is good, perhaps it was just a bad night. read more

Whenever I go to eat Thai, I usually get the same thing..chicken pad see ew and get a side of curry sauce. Since I was trying a new restaurant, I decided to try a new dish. I usually eat yellow curry but I got the red curry chicken dish and I enjoyed it. Red curry seems like it's a bit spicier than yellow curry, but it's mild still. My dish came with bamboo, peppers and chicken. Even though the bowl doesn't look very big, it definitely filled me up. Comes with a side of soup before your meal and a side of rice with my chicken curry. I tried my friend's pad see ew, and it was okay. I think it was nice to try something new for a change. The service was good too- when one lady came to check on us and tried to clear our plates before we were ready, we told her we were still working on it. She was friendly and let us talk for a good 20 minutes before coming back to give us the check. I appreciate places that don't rush you out the door and allow you to take your time to finish and pay.
