I was craving Thai food and happened to discover this restaurant by accident while searching on my maps app. I decided to try the Thai Kitchen Noodle dish, and it did not disappoint. The noodles were extremely wide and coated in a sweet brown sauce with mild spices that balanced the flavors well. The dish also included a generous amount of seafood and ground chicken, making it very filling. The Thai tea was an excellent treat and paired perfectly with the meal. The service was good, and the restaurant offered plenty of seating, creating a comfortable dining experience. I would definitely consider this place a hidden gem. read more

My wife and I went to the Thai Kitchen. The atmosphere of the restaurant is average. Their air conditioning wasn't working. So it was a little warm in the restaurant. So we ordered our food to go. The staff was very nice and explained the issue with the AC as soon as we walked in. I ordered the St. Louis fried rice and added broccoli and my wife ordered the green curry. Both meals were excellent! The were good size portions with a lot of meat. There was enough for two meals for both of us. We ordered via DoorDash, Pad Thai and Thai Kitchen Chicken. Both ordered with Medium heat. The Thai Kitchen Chicken was no joke with heat level at just a medium! We weren't quite sure what this should be like but most of the chicken had good flavor, but was hard with very few moist pieces. On the other hand the Pad Thai we customized with chicken and shrimp. Came from out of town and Thai Kitchen came highly recommended. Let me just say that it is overwhelming how delicious and flavorful each dish was. The crab rangoons are an absolute must try. And the two dishes we had both the Sukho Thai Noodle Soup, and the Spicy Jun Noodle were excellent and are highly recommended. We live 3 hours a day but will absolutely be back!! The service is a little slow but they are very friendly also the are busy. The complimentary soup was full of flavor! We ordered the appetizer sampler which was very good! The spring fresh rolls were a little disappointing. The only peanut sauce was just too sweet but hardly any peanut flavor. The rolls itself were just not the best. The BBQ pork fried rice was extremely disappointing. Just no flavor at all and the pork was super dry. We hardly ate it. The only thing that was delicious was the shrimp Pad Thai! I was thinking of Thai food and this restaurant was close to where I was staying. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu....it was not bad. I had a fried spring roll as an appetizer and that was good too. Only one server which means you need to flag her down every time you need some thing but she always brings it quickly when you do. Just be patient. I have a peanut allergy and they were able to accommodate me easily. I have the fresh summer rolls with the lemon grass dipping sauce instead of the peanut sauce and it was really refreshing. I would order this even if I wasn't allergic to peanuts! Tonight I order the Penang grouper with eggplant instead of green peppers and it was super delicious. Such a good umami flavor. I brought half home because portions are huge, plus I ate all those summer rolls. LOL! I have also had there Khao Soi (Thai curry soup), and it was very good as well. Very solid Thai food in an unremarkable strip shop setting in St. Charles. My vegetarian friend who lives nearby and I shared Massaman curry and pad say ew, both with tofu. Our server was very friendly and took good care of us. My only complaint is that we requested medium spicy and it wasn't spicy at all. Nonetheless, the flavors were good. This is my FAVORITE Thai food restaurant! I've been to many Thai restaurants, but the Khua noodle is the reason this place is my favorite. I always add egg and prefer either a spice level 2 or 3. My boyfriend gets the Pad Thai and it's delicious as well. All the entrees I've tried from here are always great and the portions are HUGE. I will say, their appetizers are not my favorites, but they have many to choose from. Their spring rolls are our favorite and the Thai dumplings aren't bad either, but I've had better apps other places. We are fortunate in St Charles to have two wonderful Thai restaurants and Thai kitchen is one of them. The Tom Yum noodle soup is one of my favorites and the pad Thai is an exceptional for those who appreciate the dish. The interior dining area is clean with multiple tables and comfortable. We ordered takeout via DoorDash from Thai Kitchen, this is our first time ordering from here. Delivery was easy and our driver Caleb was great. We ordered quite a few things, crispy spring rolls, nam tok beef, Thai dumplings, yellow curry (medium heat) and spicy noodles with beef (medium heat). Everyone was packaged very well and food was still hot when it arrived. Flavors were fantastic. Spring rolls: these were pretty standard but they were tasty and crispier Thai dumplings: super flavorful and unique, the sauce paired with it was sweet and went very well with it. Nam tok beef: this was a flank steak app, really tasty and quite spicy. It had red onion, lettuce, cilantro and cabbage. We really enjoyed this. Yellow curry: very flavorful! We both enjoyed this. The two issues we had with this was the potatoes were a bit undercooked and the rice on the side was not enough for such a large portion of the meal. Spicy noodles with beef: really enjoyed this as well, plenty of flavor and the sauce was delicious. We will definitely try Thai Kitchen again. read more

Adorable place! I love all the decor. The ambiance is very relaxed, quiet and enjoyable. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very friendly, the menu is very large so you have a lot of options. They also offer wine, soda and beer. I have not just a single recommendation because everything. I have tried has been delicious. It really depends on what you're in the mood for. However, I highly recommend coming here at least once. I would recommend trying a few different things almost like a bunch of appetizers so you can get a variety of items and figure out which one is your favorite. The restaurant was very clean. The food was of an excellent and high-quality. We had pad Thai with chicken and pad Thai with pork. We also had a soup and several other items. We asked for some Sriracha sauce; and that was really the only problem. It looked all watery and disgusting, I've had that type of sauce hundreds of times, and it never looked as disgusting. Perhaps they put water into it? Anyway, the portion sizes are absolutely huge. I mean, they are gigantic. I wish I would've known how large they are, otherwise we would have ordered so many different items, including Pad See Ewe ---- So I really think they should've put pictures of the food on the menu. Thai kitchen is one of my fav places for Thai girl !! Food is normally always fresh, flavorful and delicious! I went last night maybe 30 min before they closed and the cashier seemed to be annoyed i hadn't called in an order for pick up in which i did attempt to call but got no answer so i just drove to the restaurant that only was occupied by a party of 6 closing their checks. I went ahead and ordered my food and she was just unpleasant and seemed annoyed to be getting business right before close. As i sat inside waiting for my food the the DoorDash it Grubhub tablet alarmed of another order received and she let out the biggest "huuuuuuh" and rolled her eyes. Since this is my 1st negative experience i would just recommend keeping her in the back somewhere if she's going display frustration towards people paying to keep the place open when so many restaurants are closing weekly. I ordered one of the noodle soups and a Thai tea which all was good besides the bean sprouts looked not so fresh and smelled funny and were placed under my rice noodles when normally all the garnishes are placed on top. Will definitely go again just hope for a better interaction and fresher product. read more

My family and I come here a couple times a month, I dream of Spicy Noodle lol. My husband tries something new every time but loves the pad thai and summer rolls and my daughter who isn't a huge fan of spicy just gets the chicken fried rice. We have always loved this food, but I am frustrated by the fact that the menu does not mention onions on several of their dishes, but then adds them as they cook. I DESPISE mushrooms, and have had 2-3 dishes with them that were not listed on the menu. These are dishes that specifically list the included veggies, not just "fresh or mixed veggies." It's my first time ordering from here but have eaten at many Thai restaurants across the coasts. Overall, the flavors are there, mild, but I didn't taste the authenticity of Thai spices/flavors. Maybe because I ordered everything mild spicy, which apparently means non-spicy at this restaurant. All lunch dishes were scarce of meat; not sure if this would be better had we ordered dinner plates... would assume same ratio? -Crying Tiger (mild spicy): beef slices served with romaine lettuce (yay for change from cabbage) and lemon grass lime & green onion sauce. I understand the beef is normally chewy but would be so much better if it's cut against the grains. Few pieces for the price. Sauce is a must to accompany this dish, but I'm a bit disappointed that it's not spicy at all and lacking several spices and the beef didn't taste like it was marinated. -Pad see ew: sauce was pretty much just light soy sauce instead of a dark soy based mixture. Still taste good but missing a bit of complexity - Thai Kitchen noodles: saucy wide noodles with imitation crab, ground chicken and shrimp. Good value and taste. For a "mild sauce" it's more flavorful than the Pad see ew. -BBQ pork fried rice: probably the best flavor dish of these four, but again lack of meat. We get a piece every other Tbsp of rice. Maybe I'm spoiled by other restaurants lol. Lastly, I'd give this restaurant another try and order a more spicy crying tiger, try other dishes & eating in door to update on services. read more

These guys have the perfect thing on a coldrainy day, a hot steaming bowl of beef noodle soup. It was a little different than traditional Pho, the cilantro and bean sprouts were already added to the soup snd no lime or Thai Basil. The flavor was just delicious, nice rich well developed flavor and lots of beef. My husband ordered the Sukho Thai Noodle Soup and it had crazy good flavor and some nice spice.
