I though this place was amazing. The place was clean and the food was fresh. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai with Egg Rolls and Chicken Satee.. I'm not sure what they do to the egg rolls, but they were some of the best ive ever had. The chicken Satee came with the peanut sauce on the side which I truly appreciate... the chicken wasn't smothered in sauce, which was nice. I would really recommend this restaurant. Great NEW Thai Place in L-Town!!!! Wasn't sure what to expect when we drove up but the inside was super clean and the staff was really nice. I had the Thai Spicy Shrimp with and it was fantastic. The flavors all melded so well. The spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce good. My friend had the Pad Thai and said it great. Both dishes were good sized portions. First of all, awesome service! The owner is also super friendly and easy to talk to. I'm a pretty picky eater but everything here is delicious! The chicken pad see ew was perfectly seasoned and was not too greasy. That's key to good stir fry noodles. The seafood tom yum soup had a large amount of seafood and the soup was on point. This is Lubbocks most hidden gem. The food is amazing! the outside looks a little scary but I promise it's so worth it! This is the best Thai spot I've found yet...especially for Lubbock. Its definitely off the beaten path, but don't be thrown off by the facade. I took my 10 year old and he was thoroughly impressed as well with his shrimp fried rice. We had a pretty good spread from fish cakes to fried tofu to spring rolls(which are the rice paper variety and incredibly good). This location was pretty sketchy but they were quick and friendly! I have celiac disease and I researched that certain authentic Thai dishes should be natural gluten free. I decided to take a leap with the pad Thai (no shrimp just a personal preference) and yellow curry with chicken. I did not have any signs of a reaction. Far exceeded my expectations. Service was good, food was delicious. I had the Red Curry chicken which was just the right amount of spicy and sweet. Bae had the fried catfish which came with a sweet and sour broth. Nice place..and its behind the flea market over off of Ave K. Hands down the best Thai in LBK!! Thai has always been my favorite cuisine, so I was excited to try all the new places when I moved to Lubbock. This place is everything Thai Pepper wishes it could be. Service is very straight to the point, not Lubbock Southern hospitality, but that's to be expected and only speaks to its authenticity. I refuse to go anywhere else in town for Thai. It's difficult for me to get anything besides chicken pad Thai because it's so dang good, but I've started branching out recently. Green curry and chicken satay were both IMMACULATE, and portions are generous (for rice and noodle dishes, not so much curry). If you like a decent amount of spice definitely request extra spice - if you order pad Thai as is it will have barely a kick. I think they've implemented a spice level system recently though! Overall highly highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Thai! read more

This is as good as it gets for Thai food in Lubbock. Don't expect Houston quality but it's quite good. Service was excellent. They didn't inquire about spice level and I could have used a bit more spice - but at least the Pad Thai noodles were really Thai noodles and not spaghetti like some Thai places in Lubbock. read more

I want to first say that the service was very friendly here. The Panang Curry with tofu also tasted good. The covered parking is another plus. However, the Pad Thai was just okay. I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this one is average. Additionally, this store is located in an abandoned part of Lubbock so it's sketchy. The interior of the store is also undecorated and boring. Part of the reason for eating out is for the atmosphere and this place is not visually appealing. read more
