The Pad See Ew is alright, not as good as other Thai restaurants that I have tried elsewhere. I liked that the noodles were long and thicker than most Pad See Ew's however it was a bit undercooked. Got chicken as my choice of protein and it was overcooked and extremely dry, should've gotten the beef instead. The dish wasn't overly bad, but I personally wouldn't get it again. I'd be open to try the other dishes though. Got the egg rolls as well, and it had way too much breading and the meat egg rolls had a bit of a curry taste to it, which was interesting. Service was decent as well with plenty of seats. read more

The beef noodle soup was absolutely transformative! I got mine 'hot' and that was plenty of spice. They also have a seasoning bar: get some garlic oil and dip the broccoli in it - you'll be taken to a new galaxy. They do a MONSTER lunch business. Also: HUGE servings. Check this place out soon!! read more

I don't understand how this place got a 4.6 rating. I must say the presentation was excellent but the taste of the food was horrible I eat Thai food all the time something about the food from this place tastes funny it didn't have any flavor at all no spice no nothing I'm a person that big on flavor I don't see how they got a 4.6 rating from what I just purchased today 1-20-26 I wouldn't dare go back and spend my money at this place The atmosphere was cool the people was nice but the flavor and the taste of the food is horrible. Not worth my money (No Flavor to their food it's too bland for this to be Thai food). read more

I ordered the panang curry with chicken 10/10.. I would definitely eat here again, we ordered to go and the food was delicious and it was made on time read more

Both dishes, pad Thai and curry were delicious. The mango sticky rice was also yummy. Would definitely return to try all the rest.

Charging $12 for a soup that not even fill to the top like it's supposed to be is unacceptable and ontop of that, the soup was absolutely DISGUSTING AND NOTHING LIKE CHICKEN COCONUT SHOULD TASTE LIKE. Will definitely not return to this place and vert confused on h I w it's rated so good! Definitely will post this on all the Facebook foodie platforms, cause this food was not good and the potion I received was a slap in my face for $12 dollars! read more

Mam’s Thai Cuisine - I'm disappointed is an understatement. Absolutely not Chicken coconut soup!!! Disgusting! - Thai Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Very good flavor with decent portions, nothing huge. Fairly small location, with limited hours, clean with a few tables for inside seating. Restaurant staff was very nice and accommodating while very busy for takeout. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table quickly. Have eaten there twice both times were similar experiences. read more

If you're looking for authentic Thai food in Lubbock, Mam's is the spot! I always get the Pad Thai, and it never disappoints--perfectly cooked noodles, amazing flavor, and you are are able to choose the amount of heat. You can really taste the freshness and authenticity in every bite. The staff is always kind and welcoming, and the whole place has a relaxed, cozy vibe. I've had Thai food in a lot of places, but Mam's is hands down my favorite. Highly recommend! read more

Mam’s Thai Cuisine - Khao soi with chicken. Amazing! - Thai Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Mam's Thai Cuisine is okay, but not great. My to-go order is pad thai and hot and sour soup. This restaurant is better than most in the area, but the pad thai is overly sweet and the soup is a little off in flavor too. The service is inconsistent in terms of friendliness, but they're always fast. The dining area always feels cramped. That said, the restaurant feels clean. read more

Mam's is always very good. I had the Pad Woon Sen today for the first time today. It was great. What I love about Mam's is everything I get from the classics to the "not so common" dishes are all really good. I like several of the other Thai places in Lubbock, but they all have their own"go to" dishes that are good. I haven't found anything at Mam's that I would not go to. read more

We were excited based off reviews, but we were not impressed. Most likely won't come back. Fried rice was meh. Yellow curry chicken might as well have been a soup or broth - very little chicken or veggies. Thank goodness for the rice to thicken it up a but. It was busy, tho - so maybe it was just a bad night? read more

I had Pad Thai and hot and sour soup; both were excellent! Very generous portion of Pad Thai. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Place was simple both clean and comfortable. Refilled my water without my having to ask. Overall very good experience. Will be back! read more

We ordered takeout, so I can't speak to the in-store experience. Solid Thai food. You can't go wrong with their yellow curry.

I've been a Thai Pepper customer for 20+ years and find this restaurant to be just as appealing in food and atmosphere. Always prompt service, always friendly and willing to suggest items. Great food! read more

First timer at Mam's. Had their Pad Thai Chicken. Very tasty; huge portions; prepared spicy as requested. We also tried the Chow Mein w Vegetable. Nice mix of veggies and had the crunchy noodles as a base which is mandatory for my wife's tastes. They also served us a basket of fried wonton wrappers w a dipping sauce. Nice touch - ala - the requisite chips and salsa when eating Mexican. I want to come back and try their curry dishes as those are another favorite of mine. read more

I adore this place. Great food, great service, nice people working! The owner is a cool guy. I get the Panang red coconut curry and it's DELICIOUS. I've never had such good curry. Mam’s Thai Cuisine - Pad Thai, forgot to take a pic at first because it was so good! - Thai Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Very good Thai food, and it was ready when they said for takeout. Service was friendly at the counter. The panang curry had great flavor, and the pad Thai was excellent. The hot and sour soup had too much lemon grass and the curry didn't have a lot of vegetables or chicken, and the shrimp in the soup tasted like frozen peeled, so not quite 5. read more

Great food, great people!! Always get it right! I usually stick with the pad Thai or Cooly Special and always get the hot and sour soup.

The BEST curry in all of Lubbock! Their panang is to die for and usually my go to but the pad thai is another great choice. Honestly I've never had anything that wasn't amazing here. The service is impeccable and they're so friendly and warm. You should definitely check them out! read more

My favorite spot in all of Lubbock for shrimp pad Thai and the hot and soup shrimp soup.

This is our go to spot. Especially to go! He had Pad Thai. I had Pepper steak. Tender steak and good size portions. Can't wait to try more!

Small but clean and super friendly! I was a regular before they moved to their new location and I followed suit. Their food is so flavorful. You can still get hot-n-spicy without scorching your tongue out. The focus is flavor, the umaminess from the herbs and spices they use! You'll always get very balanced flavors no matter what you order. My go-to have always been Kool's Special and Pad Thai anytime of the year, but warm comfort of beef noodle soup for cooler and wintry evenings. read more
