Sweet and sour chicken
Meri M.

Leaving a review so I know not to come back. Bland, small portions, and expensive. It wasn't terrible (no food poisoning or anything), it just wasn't good. The food had no garnishes and was boring. The dining room has zero ambiance. The server was interesting and was unusually straight forward. She did not make us feel welcome.

Chicken Satay, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon, and Pot Stickers with Red Curry/sauces
Kyran D.

Good price for good food! We got what's pictured below and it was all delicious (only thing that fell a little short was the sweet and sour), we devoured the appetizer tray, I loved my glass noodles and my girlfriend loved her red curry bowl. Great portions and good prices, we'd love to come back! Yum.

Drunken noodles
Spencer H.

The drunken noodles certainly had much to offer in terms of flavor. With a menu rating of two spicy chili peppers, they had a nice kick without unbearable heat. But y'all... they were oily. A found it to be a bit heavy. I understand that the use of oil is largely unavoidable in such a dish, but considering my nutritional goals, it left me feeling overwhelmed. With that said, the overall taste was enjoyable and service was supreme. Next time, I will consider the use of a napkin to blot off any extra oils.

Basil fried rice.

This place was very average. Very divey and small. Really needs some work. Service was fast and efficient but not friendly at all. Ordered the basil fried rice. Liked the slight heat but otherwise not special. Tried the pad Thai as well and it was equally not impressive. My overall thought is there must be better options.

Coconut Soup
Kether S.

The salad dressing is disgusting it's 97% mayonnaise and 3% ginger. The pad Thai was not very good or flavorful, it was also too sweet and not peanut-y. The coconut soup was pretty tasty, as well as the chicken noodle bowl. The bathroom was dirty and the trash was overflowing. Overall I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Egg Rolls
Nicolas L.

My wife and I recently visited Thai Kitchen Cuisine for lunch. I had the Egg Rolls and the Drunken Noodle. The egg rolls were a delicious appetizer with a crisp shell filled with shredded carrots and cabbage. The noodles were soft, lightly chewy, mixed with tender chicken, crisp peppers and onions, soft carrots, and fluffy egg and marinated in a sweet lightly spicy sauce. Overall, this was an enjoyable experience.

A pleasant surprise when trying a newer restaurant in Tallahassee! Although this restaurant has been around for awhile, we just have never got around to trying it. I can now say we have a new favorite for a fun night out. The restaurant is on the smaller side and nothing to get excited about decor-wise (I noticed a lot of people we coming and going while we were there with to-go orders), but the friendliness of the staff, the speed of the service and the quality of the food more than made up for it. I got the Pad Thai entree and my wife got the Drunken Noddle entree. They were both served hot and were both delicious (see photos below). Our server was great, answered all of our questions about the menu and made great recommendations. I am excited to go back and try the numerous curry bowl entrees they have on their menu as well. We'll be back soon for sure!

My only prior experience with this Thai restaurant was a meal delivery, which was a solid 5-stars, leaving me looking forward to dining in. After one visit I can say with confidence that carryout/delivery is the ONLY way to go, and obviously the only thing keeping them in business. Only one other party in the most basic of strip mall dining rooms, but the phone was constantly ringing and several delivery drivers came & went with plastic bags full of delicious Thai cuisine. I've seen park restrooms with more ambiance, and possibly even better service. Nothing about this restaurant was inviting. It was like eating in a storage unit, complete with boxes stacked around (see pics). Don't get me wrong, the food was still superb, but the setting and service was such a disappointment. I highly recommend ordering for carry out or delivery of some of the best pad Thai and spicy cashew chicken in town (5+ stars). I equally recommend avoiding their dismal on-site dining experience (1 star, at best).

Mango Sticky Rice with Mango

Very great food. Got the Pad thai ass well as the crab rangoon. My friend got the panange curry and ate all of it. The mango sticky rice was also very good, but I think it is seasonal. Place was very quiet when we went in but overall very cute atmosphere and great food!

Even though the place itself is a bit worn and torn, the food was very good. The mango sticky rice was the best I ever had!

It was ok. Not stellar. The ambience is not nice if you plan to eat in. Furniture very old and needs replacing.

Just happened upon this jewel of a restaurant while looking for another restaurant! :o) We were not…read moredisappointed. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The dining area is not very spacious, but is intimate, which I really like. We enjoyed the background music, which was along the lines of smooth jazz. Our server was super nice and explained in great detail, the specials for the day. We started the meal with several appetizers: Spring Rolls, Fried Calamari, and Crab Cheese Wontons. We enjoyed the appetizers along with the sauces (except for the peanut sauce, which I didn't care for). For our entrees, we choose from the Specials menu, which was written on a board for all to see. I ordered the Red Snapper, which was fried and topped with carrots, baby tomatoes, onions, pineapple and cilantro. Had I been listening as I should, I would have asked to not include the pineapples or the loads of cilantro. The dish came with a side of rice. My husband ordered the ribs and chicken entree with noodles. He said the ribs were good; they were so tender that they slide off the bone. Both entrees were tasty; in my case, a quick fix was to push the cilantro and the pineapples to the side and enjoy my fish with just the veggies. To add to our dining experience, the chef and/or owner came out ask if we were enjoying our meal; love the special touch. We finished the meal with an order of ice cream that we shared. I am usually fine with just plain vanilla ice cream, but what we ordered was different and quite delicious. The ice cream is "home-made" and comes in exotic flavors. We choose the mango tea ice cream; it was mouthwatering! Overall, we had an enjoyable dinner and plan to return to sample other menu items. Note, if paying with a card, there is a fee (no fee with cash).

Also ordered the hibachi salmon which came with salad and other items. Tasty and my friend seemed to have liked it. Service was good and attentive. And the ambiance is homey at least for dinner, not too loud and good. We also ordered the udon with chicken thai stir fry style. Decent portions, my mom and I shared. Came with a lot of peppers and mushrooms which we liked. Did wish there was a little more noodles though. A little spicy and sweet. Flavors were fine overall, not the best I've ever had but was solid. Maybe it's just the rising costs of everything but definitely did not expect to spend as much as I did especially in Tallahassee.

We just got back tonight and honestly - why didn't we send our food back. We had the Thai scallops in lemon grass - scallops were old and full of sand, the dish was horrible, rice was old (RICE!!!), the soup was horrible, full of house mushrooms with watery coconut flavor. The last time, we got eggplant that was raw and hard in a dish. Things have little flavor. Don't know why this place is popular. It's not very good. We kept mentioning to our waiter (not his fault) that it was bad but he just kept saying, 'sorry' . Sorry, let's offer another suggestion and try to keep a customer-lets' discuss with the chef and make a change - NOPE just sorry. DON'T GO HERE FOLKS - bad food.

We started with their mixed platter as appetizer, which comes with chicken kebabs, chicken tikka and shrimps and lamb. We also tried their mysore dosa and Bombay chicken dosa. What I liked was that the service was fast. Our server Willborne was nice and quick. We appreciated his recommendations. The dosas tasted good and the mixed platter was also delicious. The service was very good, and the mango mojito was well crafted. This was all because the poor guy was host, bartender, server, and bus boy. The food, on the other hand, was a different story. We started by ordering Chicken 65 and Samosas for an appetizer. They took forever and came out barely warm. For dinner, my wife ordered the chicken korma and I the Chole (Chana) Masala. We also ordered the butter naan and the cheese and garlic naan. My wife's dish was okay. It's not as good as several other places in town. My dish was really weird. It's one of my favorites, usually, but this came out as a thin brown sauce with chickpeas that has just been taken out of the can...a bit al dente. This was not the usually thick masala that I've had many other places. This sank right through the rice. It was not good and I did not take it home as leftovers. The naan, for which you pay $3-4 was a single piece of naan cut into four pieces. The garlic cheese naan had garlic butter and a cheese powder of some sort sprinkled on top. Not a good value. There are other, more amazing Indian restaurants in town that we will continue to frequent. We've given this two tries and won't be back.
