Great people who make it easy to choose what you want---really good clean simple food---

Great place to get a good salad for a healthy lunch. Everything is clean and staff are ready to assist. Nice when it's quiet but it is pretty noisy during the lunch hour if you're dining in. I'll definitely go back when I'm looking for a delicious nutritious lunch. read more

Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh!!! I was traveling and I am always looking for a healthy meal which is sometimes impossible to find. The service was great and the restaurant itself has a very charming style. The roasted chicken, applewood smoked bacon, and sweet & spicy pecans totally made the Spring & Summer salad a great choice. read more

The white cheddar & cauliflower soup is fantastic! And comes with enough side toasted bread. My friend said the tomato bisque was excellent as well. Keep in mind even though we have plenty of hot weather left. Also, in UNsweet tea was very good and its harder to get in a restaurant this than one might think read more

Oof. Yes, what I wrote was meant to be a review and no, it was not meant to be an insult. Surely I am not the only one who has seen the similarity between that Progressive commercial and this restaurant and similar places? The food was fresh and tasty. It is the reason I would consider returning but "$12-$15" for a salad where I stand in line, pay at the register, find a seat and eat from a plastic bowl with plastic utensils seems a little high for this old boy. My wife regularly pays $14 for her favorite Southern Spin Cobb Salad at Backwoods Crossing where we are waited on at table and eat with utensils and bowls that are reusable and go through the dishwasher rather than into the landfill. I have even rationalized a steak salad for myself a few times because the amount of steak was similar to what I would get with a steak and baked potato meal and the salad meant I was eating healthier. Those too were enjoyed at a restaurant where we were waited on and ate with utensils and bowls that go through the dishwasher and not the landfill. I think I paid $17 for those. Maybe somebody was having a bad day but "methinks thou doth protest too much." read more

The restaurant is super cute , the service is always great , the food is great , I always get the kale salad! I am so glad it's open for dinner now , even tho it's just for pick up I'm okay with that ! Highly recommend, I know a lot of people say it's pricey but it depends what you get and it's all fresh ingredients and you build your own it can get pricey. read more

Truly FRESH this is the place for a fresh salad made in front of you... excellent way to enjoy a fresh lunch with a nice variety of greens, veggies, and proteins! This is the place and we will be back read more

The food is pretty good here. Similar to chipotle but fresher ingredients. Service was good also. May be hard to notice driving through this street. The only real down side is hours of operations not being open later in the day. read more

Honey shrimp is amazing try the green goddess sauce you won't regret it the service is great too it's usually pretty busy but the line moves fast read more

Just recently noticed this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. Nice/clean area; outside dining available as well. Not a long wait for food (get in line and let the staff know how to build your food item); notably, there are specific menu items, but customers can also build a bowl. My daughter ordered a bowl with the panko-crusted chicken as the protein; I ordered a salad with honey citrus shrimp. The drawback to my salad is that there was too much dressing! I requested "medium" for the amount of dressing, but it seemed more like heavy dressing - my bad though; next time I will know to request "light" on the dressing. :o) I am looking forward to also trying the bowls and the soups! read more

This is a precious little salad place. The organic lemonade is a must try. It's so delicious! A friend took me here for a lunch date and my steak and roasted sweet potato salad and her shrimp grain bowl were both delicious. The atmosphere of both the employees and other patrons were delightful. I'll be taking my husband there in the near future. I have to have some more of that lemonade and try another protein in my salad. It's the cutest place for a lunch date. read more

Yes fantastic, healthy and it is so clean it is a must for all Ages . I have taken friends there and they loved going there too read more

Lemon & Thyme was amazing. Let's of course start with the food. They have many bowl options and many salad options. All of the pre made choices sound amazing. We got one with quinoa and it was delicious, and very filling. You can also make your own bowl which is a nice option if you don't love they're suggestions. All meals come with a little slice of yummy bread! Staff was knowledge and quick. Two of my favorite qualities! I cannot wait to be back in Tallahassee so I can go back. Definitely worth a stop! read more

Super neat place. Simple, clean but inviting. The salad was amazing. Staff is very friendly. Only downside it's only open form 11am to 3pm which can make it hard for some to grab food there unless it's an off-day. But maybe that will change. Def. should try the place out. read more

The salad greens are always fresh and crisp and the food is vary flavorful. The service is friendly and it has a cute seating area on the front and back areas. My favorite item is the lemon blueberry cookie. read more

Quite good. Upscale casual but pricey. The salads were delicious but small. Probably get more if you eat in id bet as the take out containers were limiting. read more

Had an excellent first visit to this new Midtown establishment. The line was long, but it moved quickly. The staff was patient, gracious and friendly. I had the Mexicali Trop salad with a few modifications. It was delicious, flavorful and filling. Parking and seating is a premium. There is outdoor seating but mostly uncovered. My lunch date and I walked down to another establishment outside in the shade as I saw a few other Lemon & Thyme patrons doing. Speaking of my lunch date, she ordered one of the grain dishes and her bowl was empty by the end of our time together. read more

This is my second time trying Lemon & Thyme and I can wholeheartedly say it was great both times. Today I tried the Medi grain bowl with a mix of brown rice and quinoa topped with baby spinach, oven-roasted lemon chicken, herbed falafel crumbles, cucumber and tomato salad, chickpeas, feta cheese, and their Lemon Vinaigrette dressing. My only complaint about the food (that is not really a complaint) is that I wish there was more falafel or an option to have falafel as a protein because it was delicious! The dressing has left a haunting sensation on my tastebuds but not in a scary way, more in a sense of wanting to know the recipe because it was SO good. Each time I have had Lemon & Thyme I leave feeling satiated-not too full but feeling satisfied. Additionally, the silverware and bowls you eat out of are compostable or recyclable. The only suggestion I have regarding ambiance is to figure out a way to add more seating and to lower the noise with soundproofing of some sort during lunch rush as it was quite loud in there today and limited seats for the line of guests waiting to be served. read more

Very tasty bowls, soups and salads! Build your own! I am looking forward to my next visit!

Refreshing, fast and tasty bite on our way through Tallahassee! The Southwestern sauce was so yummy.

I had a great experience for lunch at Lemon & Thyme today. Bright, sunny space that was really clean. Happy employees and great food! I had the Kale Caesar salad and added avocado, a really great lunch that fills you up but doesn't weigh you down. I'll be back! read more

Was surprised there was no table service, but fast casual, seeing the photos of fancy salads. We ordered ingredients on line at a counter behind glass, given the photos of artistic salads. You're given a card to guide you through the some five sections. At some you can order three items like greens. At protein, you have one choice. At toppings near the end, there's no limit. There are so many dressings, choosing is difficult. I wanted to try the namesake lemon-thyme dressing and was not disappointed. The prices start at $10 for a large salad, but beware the premiums. I unwittingly added $4 to my order by adding avocado and falafel at $2 each. They were so good, I can't complain. There are many outside tables, maybe more than inside. We lucked out with one in the shade on a beautiful day. read more

The salad is delicious! The house dressing is delightfully sweet and tangy. I would buy a bottle of it. The staff was friendly and helpful, the service was quick. My only recommendation would be more drink options, or a lemon and thyme lemonade would be amazing! My husband has been back 3 times without me read more

I tried Lemon & Thyme for the first time today for lunch. It is a fantastic and welcomed addition to the midtown area. First things first, parking can be a little bit challenging, so I would suggest walking over if you leave close by. The restaurant itself is really pretty and clean, and every one who worked there was kind and helpful with explaining how Lemon & Thyme works. I had a salad and my friend ordered a bowl. Both were about 12$ and well worth the price- portions were large, ingredients were fresh, etc. I do wish that the grilled chicken had a little bit more flavor (I guess I was hoping to get the same type of flavor as in a chain like Cava). I would definitely recommend and I look forward to going back again soon! read more

I enjoyed my bowl and my friend enjoyed soup. Our meals were very tasty, the food was fresh and the service was pleasant. The drawback was the acoustics inside, it was horribly loud and truly impossible to have a conversation. With it being 100 degrees outside, sitting at an outside table was not an option. It's unfortunate the noise level was so unpleasant, as the food was quite enjoyable. read more

Its takes a very long time to get food. One person working. I ll never come back. Parking is very difficult

Very good food, though packed! I came for lunch on a weekday and there wasn't enough seating. I guess that's not a bad problem to have. I wish this place were open for dinner, though. I'm always looking for classy-but-laid-back establishments with healthy-ish fare for dinner, and always striking out. Since they are so crowded at lunch, I hope they get the memo that people want to patronize the business, and extend the hours! Overall, I do recommend if you're looking for a filling, healthy, customizable lunch. read more

Wow!!! What a yummy place for lunch! I loved my salad. I am not always interested in salad but my goodness this was delicious. I liked that there was parking and so easy to get in and out. The food was so fresh! The service was amazing. I will be back to get spring and summer salad again! And try more from the menu. read more

very fresh food with perfect salad bowls to make. I think that if you're looking for healthy eating, this is the place. There are a couple of things the restaurant needs to workout. One of those may be the clearness in their wine list. I thought there was a red option but I was only able to choose the rose. Their servers were also not sure about the availability on their drinks. I must reirterate this is a perfect place for businesses around to grab a very healthy lunch. read more

Great lunch spot and one of the few healthy options in Tallahassee. Only issue I have is that over half the time I want to go, they're closed. And just about the only time they're open (during the lunch rush) they're packed. Other than that, best salads in tally. read more

Enjoyed our visit from the moment we entered! We were greeted and offered menus and they explained how everything worked. We chose the kale Caesar salad and the spring and summer salad, and they were delicious! You could tell everything was very fresh! They checked on us multiple times as we finished off our salads. Definitely nice sized portions. I also appreciated how you can customize everything, even how much dressing. Limited seating, but beautiful, bright restaurant! read more

I love the simplicity and cleanness of the decor, Just the perfect blend of yellow and green hues. Kate is a hands-on owner and she did her research to find the perfect provider of fresh vegetables and meats. The portions are great. Always enough for a take home box. I can't help loving the place because it is so close to my office in midtown. Come on by and tell Kate that Colleen said Hi. read more

Great salads and bowls. Healthy ingredients, friendly staff, pleasant, clean seating area.

Had the best soup at this place! Cauliflower white cheddar, so tasty! Very creamy and cheesy without being too heavy or rich. All my friends had the salads which were reported to also be delicious! Everything was very fresh and staff was very friendly. Nice clean and bright atmosphere with lots of windows. Will definitely be back! read more

This place is great! It is small, but they do have places to sit outside and eat - especially once it cools off a bit. My friends and I have been wanting to try them out and got a chance to go there and we were not disappointed! The food comes in a 'to go' container, if you don't finish it (believe me a they are filling) you can take it with you. You can order a salad or rice/grain bowl that is pre-selected for the ingredients, or you can create your own. I created my own - the 1st time we went I got a rice bowl with shrimp, spinach, carrots, edamame, crispy wontons, and sweet-n-sour pecans with honey lime dressing (I also got a side of the lemon & thyme dressing to try with it) both were good, but the honey lime being on the sweet side was my favorite. The 2nd time I went with my friends, I got an altered buffalo chicken bowl - I left off the cucumbers and cheeses - replaced them with the crispy wontons and pecans and had it with the lemon & thyme vinaigrette. Both were absolutely delicious!! I love that you can have things altered to your own personal taste. My friend Sarah enjoyed her salad, but I forgot to write down what she had. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! The place is very nice - staff seem to have pride in their jobs - weather it is taking an order, cleaning, or asking to take care of clearing the tables. In the case of my 2nd visit, as we were sitting there talking, but had finished our salads, the staff came around asking if they could throw it away for us - which was very nice. I also saw one of the girls that was working the register - instead of just standing there waiting to help someone, she was busy cleaning the floor - that shows me they care about being there and keeping things in order. This place is only open for lunch, but it is a nice, healthy, and filling lunch choice! The rice that is offered is brown rice, but not the kind that I had in the past that was very chewy - this was light and fluffy and is served warm in the rice/grain bowls. They offer several different salad options - romaine, mixed greens, kale, and spinach. I didn't get a picture, but my friend Anna enjoyed the White Cheddar & Cauliflower Bisque. Oh, and each salad, bowl, or soup comes with a complimentary piece of YUMMY focaccia bread!! When you are in the mood for a good salad or rice bowl, you will want to give this place a try!! read more

Super cute spot. Mostly friendly staff, very clean space, and all food tasted very fresh with good flavor. Amazing place for vegans. I did the make your own salad, they have multiple lettuce options even rice and quinoa, falafel crumble and tofu protein as well as meat, and you choose 5 vegetable or toppings, extra toppings are 50¢. Definitely try the lemon and thyme vinaigrette. Free water infused with lemon and fruit. Clean bathrooms, and good playlist, nice vibes overall. I recommend for vegans and anyone else, easy to meet any diet needs. read more

i wish i could give this place 10 stars!! soooo delicious and everything is always so fresh! my boyfriend and i go here for lunch all the time and i WISH they were open for dinner. my wallet wouldn't appreciate that but nonetheless, this is a very cute and delicious lunch spot that i 10000% recommend! read more
