Food is good but customer service is horrible. I was placed on hold for 20 minutes until they hung up on me and their phone went directly to voicemail when I tried to call back. Finally got through to them and my husband went to go pick it up after they had told us 35 min. He waited an extra 30 minutes and our order ended up being wrong. read more

First time there, I was a bit frightened with the menu I'm not remotely versed in the cuisine... Thankfully the server was very kind and patient with my husband and I. We weren't to brave we shared teriyaki chicken and it was delightful! Next time we are going to let the server order for us... And just go for it! She was very sweet she even brought us out a couple spring rolls to sample which were great! In addition they even deliver! read more

Thai Kitchen 4 - Teriyaki chicken w/ veggies on the side and jasmine rice!! Yummy! - Thai Near Me - Southington, Connecticut

Heard great things about this place, decided to try it for delivery. We got their calamari, teriyaki chicken, fresh roll, and golden shrimp. The food did take a while to get here (50 mins, but that was the quoted time as well), but everything was hot and delicious. I was particularly impressed with the peanut ginger sauce that came with the fresh roll. I tried a little just to see and couldn't get enough of it. This place is definitely worth it. read more

Thai Kitchen has great food and service. It's located in downtown Southington in the old Giovani's restaurant. They have a variety of menu choices. I like their Drunken Noodles the best. The option to order the food as spicy as you want is also a nice choice. Their delivery time is quick. The turn around time is usually less than a half hour and the food is fresh and hot! read more

Beginning to end, Best Thai we have had in a long time!! Tea, Soup, noodle dishes and stirfry were exceptional. Mango was perfectly ripe and sweet rice so delicious. read more

Delivery Thai? HUGE plus. They listened to my spicy request without going overboard or ignoring me. Fast and courteous service while I was staying at Motel 6 down the road. Their spring rolls cut into little sushi-like pieces was absolutely adorable. The thin cellophane noodles with shrimp and veggies is one of the best dishes I've ever had from take out. read more

Ordered take out and was pretty disappointed. I got spring rolls and pad see ew. Unfortunately the spring rolls were soggy and came without plum sauce. The inside was flavorful. Similar case with the pad see ew. The noodles were very soft and had no char whatsoever, but the flavor was okay. Just underwhelming read more

Shrimp pad Thai smelled very fishy and made my kids gag! I am not a Thai food expert but am nervous to try pad Thai again if this is what I should expect! read more

I placed an order for takeout and was told the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. After an hour had passed without my food showing up I called and was told the driver was out on another delivery and would be here in 15 minutes. The driver didn't show up for another 30 minutes without calling to tell me. Awful delivery experience read more

Best Thai food in all the land! We sat outside and enjoyed great service and a terrific meal. Fresh rolls are delicious! Must have! Great job Thai Kitchen 4 :) read more

First time coming here with the new owners. We had the crab rangoon, spring rolls, wonton soup and both of us had Pad Thai with chicken. Crab rangoon were amazing. Fresh and very tasty. I asked if they are home made and they are. Soup was crazy good. Again seemed super fresh. Finally pad Thai was delicious. Big portion and great taste. read more

Not very good. I got the drunkin noodles. The noodles were mushy and lacked flavor. I'm not surprised that I was the only one in there.

Picked up pad thai for lunch and it was ready right when I got there! The pad thai was delicious and filling for a lunch order. I would definitely recommend getting lunch here. read more

The best part of tonight's dinner was the end of it! Ordered chicken satay which was definitely raw, and pad Thai noodle smelled like a rest stop off of I-95. The Thai tea however was quite good, the best part of my meal. Service was moderately fast. Left disappointed and still hungry. This pad Thai kitchen should've stoped after 1. read more

Food was great. Probably the most flavorful Tom Kah Kai coconut soup I've ever had. It was loaded with fresh vegetables and chicken and the broth was so creamy. The lunch portions are huge. Really enjoyed the stir fry chicken teriyaki. I have found a new gem and will be getting takeout on the way home from work on a regular basis. read more

I crave Thai Kitchen 4 food on the daily because it is by far the best Thai cuisine I have ever had. The menu is quit large, offering a variety of options including gluten free. Vegetarian options are also widely available as well and the vegetables just taste so fresh. The service is friendly and the restaurant is very cozy and clean. I'm a regular customer and will continue to consider this place as one of my favorite restaurants to visit weekly. Highly recommend the fried rice and the drunkin noodle literally amazing. read more

The curry puff appetizers was really good but the Thai Pad I ordered needs for take out lacked the flavors of the traditional dish and tasted mostly of fish sauce. read more

I decided to visit the restaurant to create a review for a University project and I was not disappointed. I ordered the CHICKEN PAD THAI and it was DELICIOUS the consistency of the noodles was perfect and the sauce was not over powering. The chicken in the dish was fresh and had the perfect amount. The vegetables were tender and had the correct amount of seasoning. I also ordered MILD CHICKEN RED CURRY. The curry was not too spicy but you definitely feel a kick that doesn't escalate while eating more of it. Both the chicken and rice were fresh and perfect for a cold day I will definitely come back to have many more options this restaurant has to offer. read more

Always delicious!!! There's never been a lot of people there when I go, which is surprising because it's really a gem. I hate when Asian cuisine is too greasy and salty and makes you regret that you ate it. No regret here. Delicately seasoned to bring out the right flavors. And extremely polite service - my favorite Thai place! I drive 30 min to go here. read more

Good Stuff! This is easily one of the best Thai places around. I went to the same place when it was the "Thai Hut" and this is much better. Food is really fresh and seems to be all homemade. I ordered the "drunken noodles". It was loaded with fresh veggies and definately had a kick! The patio was nice and it has an awning to keep the rain off of your head. I will definately be going back. read more

This restaurant never lets me down. Awesome traditional fresh food. Amazing service. They will add or deleted items from your meal to make it just the way you want. Need more "heat"? Choose from 1 to 5 to turn it up. But be careful, 5 will set Your tongue on fire (in a good way!) can't wait to go back! read more

Come here often. Love the food!! Basil fried rice is wonderful!!! Love the steamed dumplings too!!

My husband and I were in the mood to try something new, and so glad we did. The food was excellent, service was second to none, nice atmosphere,clean...I can't say enough good things about Thai Kitchen 4. We are planning to take friends there, and we will not hesitate to go back. read more

It was late in the afternoon and we were looking for a quick bite and we luckily found Thai Kitchen 4. The decor doesn't overwhelm you but the food and service absolutely exceeds expectations. We relaxed in a small booth and proceeded to order the fresh rolls with shrimp. The lettuce was fresh and crisp and the shrimp tasty. Our mains all came out as requested with the right level of heat. The pad see ew was done just right. The waitress was attentive and friendly. I would recommend it to my friends. read more

Food is good, but not worth the headache! After tonight I will never go here again! I called and Placed an order for delivery they told me they couldn't so I had to pick it up... okay not a problem. After placing my order I was told wait 40 minutes for pick up, so 45 minutes Later I walked into the restaurant. Walked into the pickup area and stood here for ten minutes before someone came to ask if we were picking up. Finally a waitress came out, I Gave my name, she went to the back to check, came back and never put my order in! Told me 5 minutes, hard to believe when my order wasn't even placed after an hour of waiting. read more

Food is absolutely awesome! Staff was very nice. Reasonable price. The ONLY thing I would say is that some of the meals are a bit small compared to others. Overall though, highly recommend this place. read more

As the first reviewer said, this food is much better than the original Thai Hut. I ordered the Crag Rangoon and Green Curry with veggies and brown rice. Everything was pretty standard and I was satisfied. The curry was a little creamier than usual and the crab had a little something extra that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The takeout service was friendly, and I plan on hitting up their delivery service at some point. read more

It's hard to write this review. On the one hand, the food, when it finally arrived, was very good. On the other - from the time I ordered till it was delivered was 3 hours. I submitted my ordered through GrubHub at 7:07pm. I received a text and an email saying to expect delivery between 7:50-8:00pm. At 8:17 I called the restaurant. The man who answered rushed me off the phone, saying the driver had just left and would be at my house in a minute. A little after 9:00 I tried the restaurant again - they refused to take my call. I contacted GrubHub who called the restaurant - they were told the delivery driver had been in an accident, and as a result, my order had been delayed. I should expect a call from the restaurant explaining the situation - needless to say, no call. GrubHub told me to expect delivery within 15 minutes at the end of our discussion. 45 minutes later the food arrived. The driver tried to walk into my house, then appeared to be waiting for a tip, which I had already put on my card via ordering through GrubHub. First and last time I'll order from them, nor will I go to the restaurant itself. read more

We have eaten here twice & really enjoyed it both times. Fresh rolls & chicken pad Thai is great.

A hidden Thai gem in Southington! The staff is super friendly. I ordered the crab fried rice and pumpkin custard to go. The crab fried rice was yummy with real pieces of fresh crab. The pumpkin custard was amazing! A must try. read more

My husband and I were in the area and headed to eat Italian when we noticed this place and decided to try it. We are glad we did. We are very familiar with Thai food. Looking more for a snack than real meal we ordered our tried and true: me green curry and my husband tom kar gui with a bowl of jasmine rice. Mine was an excellent rendition and came was a nice side ofTom yum soup. My husband declared his soup excellent. The server, very sweet and attentive, brought us out complimentary Spring rolls which were also good. We will definitely be back and encourage anyone who is in the area to give them a try. You won't regret it. (Sorry about the misspelled thai soups but I don 't have a menu in front of me.) read more

Mix reviews confuse me as EVERY visit has been awesome. Thai Basil, Spicy Eggplant, Pad Prik King (off menu) are all my standard choices and each is the BEST I've had. Freshness, preparation, flavor are all great. Restaurant is immaculate and service has always been GREAT. read more

Most definitely the best thai food I have ever had. The flavors of each dish were masterfully prepared. Everything in the presentation of the dishes is perfect. The staff was sympathetic to the wait time for picking up our order because there were 8 people waiting. It was worth it. I found my new place!!!! read more

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The ambience was run-down but clean. Don't bother to dress up. There was no alcohol, but they said that they would soon have beer and wine. In the meantime you are welcome to BYOB. We had the Fresh Roll appetizer for $7.95. It was indeed fresh and came with a tasty sauce. I had Red Curry w/vegetables (mild) for $11.95. It was perfect: beautiful, delicious and had just the right amount of spiciness. My partner had Lemongrass Chicken for $15.95. It came with plenty of meat but didn't really have a Thai taste. Thai Kitchen 4 is in the building where Thai Hut used to be. We went to Thai Hut once and never went back. We will definitely go back to Thai Kitchen 4. Happily, we live only one mile away from it. read more

Hands down the best thai food I've ever had, went up the street to a Thai place the week before trying this place, and I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money on the other. I've now sat in and did pick up, and both times the food and service has been incredible. I've had the drunken noodles which were amazing, the curry puffs were also amazing, second time around I had the green curry and that too was perfect. Beyond the food, the people working here intentionally go out of their way to make things better than the already great experience, our server first time around gave us the most attentive service I've ever had, the same type of service I give personally as a previous server and server trainer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED .. I wish there were more stars. read more

Delicious food, great serving sizes. My go-to thai restaurant in southington. Try the drunken noodles and you will never go back.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. All the food here is cooked fresh and worth the few minutes wait. Lo mein was delicious with a nice hint of ginger and plenty of fresh veggies, Thai fried rice was also delicious. We were here for lunch and the portions were more than generous. Staff friendly and attentive. This was our 4th time here and they are consistently great! read more
