We just the most exceptional dinner here! The interior is very beautiful and spacious. Everyone feels very welcoming! The Thai iced tea is a must as it comes with an adorable tea popsicle. We started with the crispy sweet chili wings and pork belly bao buns and we loved both! I got the Khao Soi and my husband got the roasted duck curry and we were obsessed! The flavors in both dishes were amazing. The noodles in the Khao Soi were perfectly chewy. I got the coconut sticky rice as a side which pairs perfectly with any leftover broth. We cannot wait to come back!

Came for the first time on a Saturday night. To drink I got the Thai iced tea. The appearance was creative with an iced tea Popsicle however, the drink itself was lacking in flavor. For my entree I got the gluten free pad see ew with chicken. I enjoyed it. I liked that it was more savory than sweet. It was great as a gluten free dish and I would definitely order it again! The servers were friendly. I'll be back!

My husband is always asking to go out for Thai food, so his latest craving landed us at Little Charm Eatery in Wallingford because we wanted to try a new spot! They have a variety of Asian fusion dishes in addition to Thai, as well as a vegetarian section of the menu, so there's really something for everyone. I tried shoyu beef ramen for the first time and was really impressed! Perfectly cooked meats, and everything we all tried was so flavorful. I had never seen popsicles in Thai iced tea or coffee before, so that was really creative! Cozy little spot, and we would definitely come back to dine in or get take out!

We came here for dinner tonight after finding out that they had just opened on Facebook. The inside looks great, the lo-fi music wasn't distracting, and the service was really good. We started off ordering the Taro Boba Milk Tea and the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Teas for our beverages. The boba was fresh, and both drinks tasted great. For our appetizer we tried the Crispy Sweet Chili Wings, which were hot, sticky, very crispy, and deliciously seasoned. The meat was falling right off the bone, and the flavor of the sauce was exactly what we were hoping for in Thai wings. For our mains, we ordered the Spicy Pad Thai with Crispy Chicken, and the Thai General Gao Chicken. Both came out piping hot, and the flavors were excellent in both dishes. The General Gao Chicken comes with a Thai Berry Rice which has a nice floral aroma and taste to it. The vegetables were cooked well, and the chicken was crispy and had a satisfying bite. The Spicy Pad Thai was easily one of my Top 3 favorites in recent years. Not heavy on the fish sauce - really well balanced in terms of flavor, spice and ingredients. I enjoyed the addition of the yellow bell peppers and onions throughout and the chicken again, was crunchy and delicious. To finish off our meal we had the Vanilla Fried Ice Cream. The crusty exterior was a nice contrast to the cold vanilla and whipped cream and I think I prefer their crusty exterior to some of the other versions of fried ice cream you might get at, let's say, a local Japanese restaurant. Overall, the food was great, the waitress was lovely, and we will absolutely be coming back. This was a nice turnover from Sirinan's. These guys definitely deserve a try.

I took my family and friends to Little Charm Eatery because of its positive reviews. First off, I have to say that I strongly agree with most reviewers here. This has got to be the best Thai foods I've had in Wallingford, CT. I highly recommend Crying Tiger, Crazy Roll, Spicy Pad Thai, and Grilled Skirt Steak Panang Curry. It's so delicious.

I really had high hopes for this location. The pictures of the food looked very good. But my experience was not great. The coconut shrimp was OK, it was placed on a bed of fried something that was old and stale. I tried one of their specialties, which was General Gao chicken. Honestly, there wasn't much chicken, but there was a lot of batter. The spice level was nice and the vegetables (broccoli and Carrots) were steamed well. The restaurant was pretty full which made me think maybe I just ordered wrong. But I'm not sure ill be back to try more.

New restaurant with cozy dinner vibes. Menu is mixed Asian flair with Thai food as well. Portion sizes aren't huge, presentation is nice, and food is flavorful.

God I love this place. The food is incredible, the service is spot on, and the ambiance is welcoming. It is literally the BEST Thai food I have ever eaten in the States. The flavor is so authentic, its amazing that a place like this is available in Wallingford! VERY VERY VERY HIGHLY recomended!!!

    Pad Thai

I loved this Pad Thai, especially with the portion size. I ordered a side of steamed vegetables and the peanut sauce, which was more than enough food. As someone who loves Thai food, this was a great spot!

    Thai Iced Tea

Same owner as South Side Thai in Wallingford so you know this place is great! Sleek decor inside & surprisingly roomy compared to one's observation from the storefront. The service is excellent. Our server was lovely in all respects & she's the Owner's sister so she definitely has a vested interest in the restaurant's success and your experience. The food was great and the presentation seems even more ramped up from the other restaurant. Very creative. We had the Bao Buns, edamame (which is basic but was addictive & flavorful here), Khao Soi Chicken, Thai Iced Tea & my friend had the Ginger Branzino which was excellent. I love Thai food & thought the flavor profiles Thai food is known for (salty, sour, sweet, spicy & savory were done well in the main dishes we ordered. Looking forward to the next visit. A new favorite!

My group of friends were headed to an event, and so we decided to get dinner first. One of our group suggested a hibachi restaurant. Sakimura was close, so we decided on going there. There were 8 of us. The place was nice: clean, well lit, not too loud (for a performance based cooking experience). Not super high end, but the entire experience reflected that. We got seated right away (we had reservations). Drinks arrived quickly (BTW: large tropical cocktails were very inexpensive, IIRC between $6 and $10) and we all ordered from the hibachi menu. The chef put on a great performance and we were all enjoying it. Dinners were ready quickly (another BTW: a combo steak & shrimp meal was only $28 (Dec 2025). ALL 8 of us had enough for our lunches the next day. I don't remember if they have dessert on the menu but none of us had room. I often rate a restaurant on the cleanliness of their restrooms and the men's room looked like it was cleaned and maintained multiple times a day. They are in a small strip mall and have plenty of parking in front and back. I can't comment on their sushi menu; I didn't order from it.

It's a huge space with a lot of room for regular and hibachi tables, with modern decor. Service is very friendly and consistent which is not always the case with these kinds of places. They had an issue with one of the vents while we were here, however they quickly fixed it. Just needed to leave the back door open for a bit. Drinks were on the sugary side which is typical; my mai thai was good however I couldn't do 2. Soup and salad were good. Chef was one of the better hibachi chefs I've gotten. Wish they flipped shrimp instead of veggies for an appetizer, but hey, recession. More importantly than the presentation and show (which was good), they did a really good job with the food. Steak was perfectly cool if a bit over seasoned. Scallops were seared better than I've had at a lot of fancier restaurants. Massive portions too when the veggies, noodles and rice were factored in too. Of course my food got switched at home, and I got a fuckton of chicken instead of my steak. I mourned this, however will survive to return again.
