Between the two of us we ordered a plate of Pad Thai and prawns with veggies in a spicy sauce. The. flavor was good but the prawns were overcooked. The Pad Thai was overly sweet and underseasoned. So i went here with my friend, and what a hidden gem! Seriously, i was surprised great Asian food could be found this far south of Reno! I ordered the honey garlic pork, and she ordered the pumpkin veggie stir fry(shes a vegetarian, but she is still pretty awesome). We also split the spring rolls, no meat. OMG! I like spring rolls, but these were so good! Everything was fresh, and the rolls themselves were huge! The sauce though, is where it was at! Seriously, the peanut sauce was amazing with so many flavors it would be nice to have in a bottle in my fridge. The honey garlic pork was very tender and sweet. Sooo good! Food is delicious and services is great. Tip: like other Thai restaurants, their food can be ordered on a spice level of 1 to 5 (5 is spiciest). However, their level 5 is very, very mild compared to other Thai restaurants. It's closer to a 2 I'd say, or even a 1. Their level 1 is so mild it actually just tastes bland. Lackluster flavor, My yellow curry was the consistency of water The Thom Kha was nearly see through and had zero flavor. The meat was as hard as jerky in all 4 dishes. This family owned business is amazing. I have nothing bad to say. The service is always fast and personal. I had the chicken spicy noodle and it was amazing. You can order it as spicy as you like. I got a medium and it was perfect. The ingredients are fresh and the order comes out hot and fast. The wonton soup is another hit. The decor makes you feel like you are in Thailand. Thai Jasmine is our go to restaurant for take home. Last weekend we had a holiday party for around 75 people. The food was available on time, packaged tight for travel home, and we had 75 extremely satisfied guests. First time EVERYTHING was eaten at one of our parties. Everyone loves Thai, and so many delicious selections. Lastly the cost was a fraction of what it would have been had we hired caterers anywhere, all we needed to supply was final serving dishes. We enjoy dining in at this restaurant. They are very attentive about food allergies which is much appreciated. I like ordering their salmon and shrimp dishes, which are usually very good. Their Tom Yum soups are also great. The server is very attentive and the wait times are reasonable. The decorations in the restaurant are also nice. The only negative is that they are closed after 3PM and only accept take-out orders in the evening. We have not enjoyed their food nearly as much when we order take-out, so we only eat there when we can dine in. read more

We stopped because we were passing through, Love Thai food, and needed lunch. The place has good ratings so it was worth stopping. They have a lunch special's menu which suited our needs well. The Thai iced tea was great. I had the Basil chicken and my husband had the green curry. I chose a spice level of 3 and he chose 1 on a scale of 1 to five. Each dish was excellent. I tasted his and the spice seemed just right. He felt the same about mine. The unique thing about this place is that you have a choice between rice or pud Thai with your dish. We each chose pud Thai which came with a side dish of peanut sauce. We debated adding rice to our dishes but opted not to. We finished the meal with mango and sticky rice. Though the mango wasn't the sweetest summer type it was still excellent. Each dish we had was excellent and the server was outstanding. Thank you for a great meal!! read more

We really wanted to like this place since it's the closest Thai food place but the food was just edible. The owner which was also our server was super friendly and that's what the 3 starts are for. We absolutely LOVE this place! The guy at the front is always SO nice and welcoming on the phone and in person. The food is incredible! Our favorite are the panang curry with chicken, veggie fried rice, drunken noodles with chicken, and pad Thai with chicken (staples!!!) and we've never had a bad experience with the service or the food! Okay, this place is pretty good! I wish I took a pic of their Thai tea but I finished it before the thought even crossed my mind - that's how amazing it was. I'm a stickler when it comes to Thai tea and this place had one of the best ones I've had in a really, really, really long time. I also loved their Tom Yum soup. I got the seafood version and mans it does not disappoint. They had all varieties of seafood - imitation crab, fish balls, muscles, shrimps, etc. and they definitely were not stingy on the filling! The flavor was exactly what it, hot with a bit of a sour but delicious taste. Their Pad See Ew was a bit soggy but that could be due to it sitting inside the aluminum foil in my to-go box for a while and flavors weren't as pow-wow as the Tom Yum, I may have to do a sit down and see if there is a difference before I pass a final judgement. Lastly, I had the mango sticky rice for dessert and let me tell you this is always a hit or miss with some Thai restaurants in the Reno/Sparks area but the one I had in Minden was really good. It wasn't dry or excessively sweet, it was perfect. The coconut flavor cake through real well and the mango was just the right texture and sweetness. Definitely recommend if anyone is in the Minden/Gardnerville area and is craving Thai! Also, they get 5 stars not only because the food was food but because the person who helped me with my to-go order on the spot was awesome and he delivered my Thai tea in advance while I was waiting. Also, they were able to bring the food out at a decent wait time while also serving what looked to be a full house! read more

The waiter asks every time if there is food allergy or peanut allergy, which is pretty cool! They have great menu selection, too much to choose from!! However I seem to always get my favorite which is Pad Thai and yes with Tofu.. I am sure some of you will want to gag, but it is done good!!
