Orange chicken and flame broiled pork, egg rolls, and vermicelli
    Monica S.

Whether you go for Orange Chicken or a Vietnamese dish, the food is hot and made to order. The food is flavorful and balanced. The restaurant is kept clean. My kids are the biggest fans of the chicken pho. We went yesterday evening around 6:30pm. We all fell asleep before 8pm with happy bellies!

    Pork/Shrimp noodle bowl

We had lunch here and ordered a few Pork/Grilled shrimp plates one with rice and the other with the noodles. We both enjoyed our meals and left satisfied. Will return when it gets cooler outside for a bowl of Pho.

    Fried Crispy Calamari

We ordered fried calamari and it looked delicious but calamari was overcooked and rubbery. Egg roll was crispy and delicious. Pho and vermicelli noodles were overcooked and little mushy. Broth was okay. Workers didn't go out of their way to be friendly but they filled out water glasses frequently. Thank you.

I ordered Pad Thai it had no taste at all. Bland, like they didn't put any seasoning. Not sure I would try it again.

I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. Very cheap ingredients with absolutely the worst taste.

Passing by, I chose this Chinese restaurant based on reviews, and it had a relaxing and warm feel…read moreto it. The food was authentic and not too greasy, making for a very pleasant dining experience. Sitting there, you naturally want to eat and chat slowly. It felt like a well-prepared home-cooked meal, making me want to come back. The service was good, and the atmosphere was nice. I'd definitely come back again.

Beef and broccoli of my dreams…read more.. Easily one of the best versions of this dish I've ever had. Tender beef, crisp-bright broccoli, and a glossy, savory sauce that clings to every bite. This one even had sweet, perfectly cooked carrots. The fried rice was also spot-on: silky egg, peas, carrots, and that familiar flavor so many of us love. Lunch specials run from 11-3 and come with soup, an egg roll, and your choice of rice or noodles. Portions are massive. My only issue, and unfortunately it's a big one, was the service. After taking my order, the gentleman serving me never returned to my table. I couldn't get sweet & sour sauce for my egg roll, and my water was never refilled. I raised my hand several times, but he walked by as if I wasn't there. Finally after waiting for over ten minutes when I was over it, I stood up hoping someone would notice and assume I was trying to leave without paying. That worked and I was immediately handed my check. Of course I still had to ask for a to-go container. The food alone is a 5 star rating, but the service brings the experience as a whole down to a 3. I love Chinese-American food, and this kitchen gets it. Not sure if my race or that I'm a woman was an issue, or if I just got the worst server they have. I hope this reaches the right person because I would like to come back but being ignored and feeling so unwelcome is disheartening.

Very nice. Stayed open late, gave extras for free, and delicious food! 5 stars!!! Great experience!read more

OK I'm adding a star here up to four from my previous three star review. I was delighted to see…read morethat they had a tofu offering in the place where the green beans usually are. It was tofu and cauliflower. The tofu chunks were enormous and they were nicely seared on all sides. The sauce was flavorful and the veggies including cabbage were perfectly cooked. Well I may not have recognized the first time I came in is that their noodles appear to be udon! they were not open as I write this review so I couldn't call them but I did take a picture and give it to My BFF, "gemini" the trustee AI from Google: Gemini says: "1. Shanghai Style Thick Noodles (Cu Mian) This is the most likely culprit. In many Chinese "hot table" or buffet settings, they use a thick, wheat-based noodle called Cu Mian (literally "thick noodles"). * The Look: They are cylindrical and chewy, very similar to Udon. * The Difference: They are often a bit more "al dente" or dense compared to the bouncy, slippery texture of Japanese Udon. * Terminology: Even though they are thick, restaurants often label them "Chow Mein" simply because that's the term customers recognize for any fried noodle dish. 2. Lo Mein Noodles While most people associate Lo Mein with a medium-thickness flat noodle, some regional variations use a significantly thicker, rounder version. Because these are wheat-based and have absorbed that dark soy-based sauce, they can easily be mistaken for Udon. 3. "Frozen" or "Instant" Udon It is actually quite common for modern Chinese fusion spots to use Japanese Udon noodles because they hold up exceptionally well in a steam table (the "gizmo" you mentioned). They don't get mushy as quickly as thinner egg noodles, making them a practical choice for restaurants. How to tell for sure? If you want to investigate further without a language barrier, you can check the "bite": * Udon: Will be very white on the inside if you bite it in half, with a very springy, almost gummy "mochi-like" bounce. * Shanghai Noodles: Usually have a slightly more yellowish tint (even without eggs) and a firmer, more doughy center." so biting Intuit I do see a white center but then again I don't know if I've tried the other noodle types above so it could be. Whatever the case the experience is that of an udon noodle in my uneducated experience. I wrote another review for Jade Garden that goes into a little more detail and expands to talk about the ambience, which I describe as tight but cozy seating, over here on Nextdoor: https://nextdoor.com/p/pBwBSFyPjn42
