I've been here a few times. While it's great to see the business doing well, the overall food quality has a long way to go. The Thai restaurants in Kaysville, downtown SLC, and Rock Springs are much better than this place. The pad thai is too sweet here, the drunken noodles don't have nearly enough meat or veggies. Also, I'm not a big fan of broccoli and green peppers in my thai dishes. Pea pods and red/yellow/orange peppers would make the drunken noodles taste much better. Hate to say it, but I think the best dishes here are the Stir Fry dishes, particularly the Cashew "Steak" and Basil Chicken dishes. Even so, they also come with too many noodles, not enough veggies and meat. read more

Difficult to find this amazing restaurant. There is only a small banner up at the moment. We circled for awhile and almost gave up. Very happy we did not. Best thai food I have had in a long time. Update: I've tried their spicy fried rice, and unfortunately, it wasn't spicy at all! Maybe they forgot to add the spice? There's plenty of chicken and vegetables, but overall, kind of flavorless. Curries are definitely the standouts of this restaurant. I'm keeping my review 5 stars because the service is great, the curry puffs are TO DIE FOR, and they have so much other really delicious dishes. read more

So glad to find out about this restaurant. I am a Thai food afficianado, and when I find a place I like, I'm a regular. I've had Thai in a variety of places in Utah, and outside of Utah. My "grading test" is green curry; if the curry is good, I'm impressed. I was impressed. I asked for it "extra hot" and was given the range of 1-5. I chose 4 and it was perfect. Uncrowded, nice decor without being "too too". No big sign above it, so I missed it on my first drive through of the strip mall. I kinda like that, too. I'm hoping Thai foodies find this place, and patronize it. We need more good Thai in Bountiful! read more

The food was the best! I am a extremely picky eater and it drives my husband nuts. I also have little bravery when ordering new things because of previous mentioned pickiness. We arrived a little early for lunch 11:30 am. We were the only customers in the restaurant. When we asked how the food was the gentleman that was helping us said it's all right. We asked what he recommended and he said he doesn't eat there. We promptly left. If your employees won't eat there why would we. The gentleman clearly didn't want to be there. I'm not sure if he was family or what but he did not give us a good feeling about the food. It's really a shame I love Tai food and just by his actions and demeanor there was no way we were going to stay. read more

We order a $17.99 for 5 wonton that's cold and super spicy, we ask for vinegar because it's too spicy, the lady boss ignored us and said to her husband we are poor, so we ask for lemon and she and her husband laugh at us we don't know why, and throw us a piece of lemon, we get really angry and we decide to leave, but the lady stopped us and ask to pay for tip when we already paid $17.99 for 5 cold wonton from Costco, we said no sorry we don't like the food and your attitude was definitely trash and we don't appreciate that when we are the customers, they said since we sit at the table which means we must tip otherwise they won't let us go, we said if you want us call 911 you can , and she called her husband (the boss) the husband said we must pay tip or they won't let us go, we got super angry at this point and we argue with them because we literally didn't get any service and the food was terrible and the boss laugh at us because she and he think we are poor, they still won't let us go and said to everyone in the restaurant there's a poor family and said all the bad word and tell everyone that how dare we are to not pay tip when we already sit in the restaurant, so we called the 911 try to get some help, and they immediately said okay we will let u go this time but ur not allow to come back anymore, we don't want 'idiot' 'trash' customer in our shop , I definitely don't wanna pay 17$ for that trash salty thingy where u can literally make 20 of that for only 6$ , attitude absolutely terrible we are already super nice to them the back of the kitchen was very dirty definitely didn't meet the requirements, I don't recommend anyone coming to this shop , our experience today was definitely not okay and we definitely not except that read more

They gave me the wrong order for take out... I drove home, opened it and called them. They made me bring the wrong food back to the restaurant, and gave me my cold food half an hour later than planned. The food is worthless to me now. Too late to eat it, I have to be at the airport in 20 minutes. Too cold to taste food anyways. No customer service at all. Very unprofessional. read more

My husband and I love Thai food, and this is probably the best Thai we have ever had. We had the curry dumplings that come with an amazing green curry sauce. It was so good we asked for an extra to go box for the leftover curry sauce The massaman curry and drunken noodle were absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is very charming. Absolutely delicious Thai food! We go here every other week now. We have dined in and gotten take out a few times. Our first time dining in experience they were SUPER busy and they ran out of rice. The service was very good but was a bit slow due to being understaffed like so many restaurants right now. When the food did come I forgot all about the wait because the dishes are so heavenly good. We had six in our party and EVERYONE enjoyed what they ordered. My husband and I also love Thai Rod Dee in Layton and I would say that Thai in Town is equally delicious but with a much better dine in atmosphere that is great for a date night or a girls night out. We prefer to order early online now and pick up our food about 5:30 on Friday nights to avoid long wait times. I'm so happy they came to town and I hope they are here for a long time to come! I told my brother about this place and now he's hooked too. If you love Thai food you will not be disappointed! read more
