Absolutely love coming to this restaurant. My family and I have been coming here for years now and it never disappoints. The inside is spacious with lots of seating and beautiful decor. The big windows let lots of light in as well and there is always parking. The workers are super nice and welcoming, your order comes out quick whether you are dining in or taking out, and the food is delicious and perfect for family style sharing. My go-to's to get are their curries (yellow and panang), pad thai, and Thai fried rice. If you come and they have the mango curry or pumpkin curry, I recommend trying those as well as they are amazing. Will continue to come back! read more

We were greeted immediately when we entered and taken to our table with menus. We came during lunch time towards the end around 1:30pm. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food came out hot and fresh and even had a heart mold for the rice, which was a nice touch. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food. I got 3 spicy and it was very flavorful the eggplants were cooked perfectly and tasted so sweet. I also got friend bananas and mango sticky rice but we took that to go and didn't get a photo. Looked for a Thai spot in the area and decided to check out Thai Hut. There's ample parking located in a small plaza. The place is well maintained and very clean with a good size dining area. Plenty of dishes to select on the menu. Ordered a beef pad thai, yellow curry chicken and fried egg rolls with steamed rice. The meal was delicious!!! Definely one of the best pad thai I've had in a long time! Big props and I made sure they were aware. The staff were very nice and courteous checking in a few times. Service was very good. Yesterday was my second time in this place. I actually enjoyed food here first time around . It was tom kha soup with chicken. I truly recommend that one . It was little different from other Thai restaurants that I visited before . Last night food tastes a bit too mushy on your tongue. Specifically I would say about my pad Thai . Eggs inside of my dish was not fried enough. Services is ok, restaurants staff takes order pretty fast . Portion on my papaya salad too extrimly small for that price . I came in for lunch on a Monday since it was close by. I was greeted and seated immediately by a man. He was very friendly and started a conversation with me easily. I ordered the beef pad se ew and I love spicy so he put extra thai chili peppers on the side for me. The inside is very cultural and decorated with beautiful statues. They are on par with another restaurant in natomas, if not better. got the eggplant, mayo sticky rice, sticky rice, jasmine rice, red curry chicken. They totally understood me on spice! Ambience is nice, a bit dated and on a budget, not feeling carpets in a restaurant but they were clean. Service was OK, not amazing but not bad. Our first time here. We called a dessert order to go, the man on the phone was very sweet and friendly and we appreciated him giving us the exact location of the restaurant. When we got there, our order was ready and the customer service was just as friendly as on the phone! They are very generous with their curry (chicken and all the fresh veggies), lots of spices and seasonings. Thai Hut is a household name in my family. I love their pumpkin red curry with chicken, and they have the best pad Thai around. The avocado green curry with chicken is my second favorite menu item. My kids love the chicken satay with peanut sauce. To-go option is always very fast. The staff is super friendly, they use my name and I love that they always say "see you tomorrow." The restaurant is clean and family friendly, but also a good date night option. Beware their spice rating system is a little different than your typical mild, medium or hot. Not even full all the way I asked the older guy he was taking my payment he was low key rude saying this is lunch size I asked if I can get dinner size for lunch he was like ya maybe next time right now you order this LOLZ. This place is great, but just a warning to people, do not order food from this place 30 to 45 minutes before they close because they will not do a good job. They won't put any flavor in the food and they'll be sour that you even came in. For example, their signage states, "No dine in after 7:30". We arrived and waited to be seated at approximately 7:25 and the man behind the counter would not seat us, even when we pointed out what their own policy stated. I was really not happy with our order. Our food was flavorless like they didn't put any sauce or seasonings. You can tell by the color. Usually the food is very vibrant and flavorful, but I guess at the end of the day people get a little tired and lazy. And another thing that made me uneasy was I clearly ordered two Thai iced teas but when the order came out, he only gave me one. read more

Disgusting. I'm not one to enjoy putting a bad review, but had to. I did a pick up order. 1st time customer. Having to have relocated from San Diego, I was looking for an authentic Thai spot. Since I was in the area I came to this spot. Upon arriving home my chicken pad Thai did not taste like pad Thai. No peanuts, no tamarind base. It was terrible the noodles tasted like packaged shrimp flavor maruchan powder, the chicken had a weird taste and smell like they didn't clean the gunk or blood off the chicken before cooking it. I was so disgusted. I had ordered curry too, I didn't trust it and had to throw it away. The bit of noodles we ate hurt our stomachs pretty bad. My kiddo got the runs, and I had colic. NEVER again. The only spot that is in fact good and authentic is Kaidao on Folsom. So far it's delish. Next time I will do the drive to go to Kaidao instead. read more

I hate giving them just 4 stars. The food is 5 stars, definitely! On a hot day, 102 today, they do not have air conditioning. So it was a balmy 78 I think. I was just warm but not hot. I was ok but my wife was warm. But any other day and this place is a dream. Now, I am in no way a Thai food expert. My wife is. And we have been to a lot of Thai restaurants and she loves this one. And I am not a Thai fan but I like some of their dishes. The atmosphere is a little dated but the pride they take in their food is what matters. And it comes through with the wonderful flavors.
