String Bean with Black Bean Sauce
Candace C.

We dined on 6/21/26 and I'm so upset that I cannot find the name of the gentleman who took care of us, he was so kind and accommodating. We ordered combination fried rice, black bean string beans, cashew chicken, orange chicken and chow mein. Everything was delicious, generous portions, once we were full the plates looked as if we had barely touched them. We asked for togo containers and our waiter packed our food for us! Love the food and the service at Szechuan.

So there is a kind of funny smell when u walk in but I promise it's just the wood. The food here is absolutely amazing!!!! I ordered the Szechuan chicken and added shrimp. And we also got the Szechuan beef ... both were fantastic!!!! And such huge portions!!! The staff are friendly and I'll be back because you can never have enough Chinese food.

The best Egg Fu - Yung we have ever had!

This place is my absolute favorite for Chinese food. I'd say the only disappointment is knowing it's been here so long and I've passed by many times and never eaten until recently. Their egg foo yung is the absolute best we have ever had!!!I couldn't even wait to take a pic so you get to see the inside. The spring Rolls have just a hint of five spice making them stellar. The beef chow fun is melt in your mouth. Our children love their potstickers which are steamed then fried for a nice texture. We tried the hot and sour soup tonight and we devoured it. Even the fortune cookies seem to be a cut above!

We are back for seconds because the first time the food was amazingly fresh and tasted so well..We ordered the same thing as before..The dishes did not disappoint and our wait staff was so nice.,We will be back because we are fans...

Long drive home from Portland so decided to stop at our favorite Chinese restaurant. Always friendly servers! We love their food, when it is just the two of us, it's difficult to choose only two items. We like to go with others so we can share many items. We love their pot stickers, orange chicken, broccoli beef, chow fun, chow mein, and so many other things.

My wife and I eat Chinese food at least 2-3 times a month at 3-4 different locations. That said, Szechuan Garden tops them all. Cozy and comfortable, excellent service and top quality food although a bit pricey but considering we will get at least 3 more meals out of the leftovers it's not that bad.

Welcoming elegant oriental elegance and quick service! Always a delicious, hearty portion with all items we have ordered for delivery and take out. Will need to come by and experience table service in this beautiful restaurant which is right in our neighborhood! (Glad to support THIS local business!!).

Ask the Community - Szechuan Garden

Is this restaurant open on Christmas day 2025? Called two Chinese restaurants and no answer. Perhaps they're slammed as it's 5:00, but I don't want to drive in a downpour to find out they're closed...

The whole dining space looks really stunning and comfortable for dining in. It was amazing watching the chef cook in the open kitchen! I ordered the Sichuan shrimp combo fried rice and Mongolian beef. The Sichuan shrimp combo fried rice was perfectly wok‑hei, well‑seasoned, plenty of plump, juicy shrimp in every bite. Mongolian beef was absolutely fantastic, tender slices of beef coated in rich, savory‑sweet sauce, not overly greasy at all. Every dish tasted fresh and full of flavor. The staff provided excellent, attentive service, very polite and quick to respond to requests. Service was friendly and efficient. This place is definitely on my to go list, highly recommend stopping by!

We ordered the Mu Shu pork which was to die for!!!!!! 100000000% recommend. A little sweet a little nutty, and blasting with flavor. We also order the lake beef soup . Now if you don't like cilantro I highly suggest getting something else. Or at least order it with out cilantro cuz that is a lot. The potsticker are ok honestly nothing special about them but they were decent. I can't wait to come back and try many different options.

0.5 stars Extremely…read moreoverpriced and very disappointing, especially for the portions and quality of the food. I was charged $47 when my actual receipt total was $41. I paid with a $50 bill and was initially given only about a dollar in change. I had to point out that I hadn't received the correct change before I was given the rest. The whole situation was very confusing and concerning. As for the food, the egg rolls were not crispy and the outside was extremely thick. The fried rice looked dark and flavorful, but unfortunately it was very bland. You also have to purchase soy sauce separately, and they charge $0.50 per packet. The orange chicken had good flavor, but the portions were very stingy. There wasn't much meat, and the amount of rice was also small considering how much everything costs. The young girl working the front may have been inexperienced, because the change and total situation was handled incorrectly. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or what happened, but being charged $47 when my receipt showed $41 was frustrating. For the prices, I expected much better food, portions, and service. This was my first time here and unfortunately it will be my last. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

It was good but the pepper had a hint of burnt so it gave a bitter taste to the dish. - Salt & Pepper Calamari: Not bad but not the best. It was fresh but may have been overcooked or cooked too fast since it was a little tough. - Salt & Pepper Shrimp: Flavorful and was better than the calamari. Flour coating was not too thick so it was enjoyable. - Beef & Broccoli: Broccoli were cooked well. They had a nice crunch. The dish was saucey but was not as flavorful as I expected. Also the sauce was not as thick as well. It was more running. - Fried Rice: It was good but not something to rave about. - Chicken Chow Mein: The kids loved the chow mein. It was better than expected. It had a light flavor that made the dish taste delicious. The noodles were not chewy, tough, or too soft. It was also not lathered in oil. As for the chicken pieces, they were tender and easy to chew. Service: Very friendly and attentive. They also welcoming and observant. That made things easy for us so we didn't have to ask for anything.

I've heard so many good things about Beijing Cafe from the Rancho community, and let me just…read moresay--they were absolutely right. This is easily one of the best Chinese food spots in the area. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves on a Friday night after a long (and rough!) work week, so we ordered ahead on Uber Eats planning to just walk in and pick it up. However, when we arrived, our order wasn't ready yet and we had to wait about 10 more minutes. I'll admit, I was a bit annoyed at first--but then I realized how many people in Rancho must come here to satisfy their Chinese food cravings. It is a Friday night, after all, so they're clearly busy for a reason so can't complain that they're getting well deserved business! Good for them! The wait ended up being no longer than what they told us, and by the time we got our food, it was hot, fresh, and still perfectly ready to eat for when we got home. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Plate, and my husband got the Chicken Fried Rice and Salt Pepper Chicken. Everything was extremely tasty--we literally couldn't stop eating and had to tell ourselves to stop so we don't feel extra bloated. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
