    Pad-See-Ew with extra beef
    Tatiana M.

I'm getting hungry just writing this review and seeing the photos of our pad see ew and pad Thai. This was hands down one of the best meals I've ever had in Sacramento it was perfect. The staff were super friendly and sweet and the place inside was super cute! I've never been one to fully clean a plate I always have left overs my plate was SQUEAKY clean and so was my partners. I regret every day since not getting some to take home to share the riches of this meal with family. I'd write love letters to the food I ate if I was able to

It took me a long time to visit this spot. I've lived here for like 5 years and this is my first time here. It's most likely because it's an Omni restaurant with a vegan menu, rather than a vegan restaurant. I've been to the Veg Cafe that's upstairs from it, because that place is all vegan, and I've been to Babe's a couple doors down, which is all vegan and gluten-free. The prices here are a little high in my opinion, especially since the portions aren't super big. I went with 2 other people and we ordered the following vegan items. - salad rolls - Pad Mamuang Himapan - impossible garlic noodles I liked it all. I also got a vegan Thai iced tea since they aren't usually vegan. The bathrooms were nice and clean. They had a place to set your purse while you pee. There's indoor seating and patio seating so I sat on the patio because October in Sac is basically the perfect month for outdoor dining. The service was good. If you're vegan, make sure you ask for the vegan menu when you sit down.

This restaurant used to be my favorite back when I used to go Sacramento State University. I used to love their eggrolls and their food. But the day on Monday, April 27, 2026 I was so disappointed with the service and the food. The egg rolls were so dry like they were overcooked and they're missing a lot of vegetables inside. It tasted awful and I used to love them. the yellow curry, we told the waitress that we wanted nothing spicy and it was very spicy. The food was not great. The service was not good. I hope they improve and they go back to serving amazing food. The waitress that was helping us she was not nice.

Thai Basil is a great spot for lunch. I love the bento boxes and always add a fried egg. The beyond meat garlic noodles were good and not so garlicky that you can't go back to work after. It's very tasty. The staff is always kind and helpful.

My top recommendation here is Pad Thai, absolutely delicious! Honestly, it's the best around.:) I also love Tung Tong appetizer, served hot off the pan and super tasty. Another great choice is Kow Pad Sapparod, which is bursting with a variety of flavors!

Was in the area visiting a friend and walked down for lunch. Such a great little restaurant with lovely patio seating. It was a little chilly so we ate inside, but would love to come back for patio dining. We both selected one of their bento lunch specials. It was perfect. Little salad, some veggies, an egg roll and some green curry . Sooooo good!

Not going to lie the food was good but the price was a lot! I'll blame it on the location but I was a bit bummed at the price verse portion, the service was okay and could have been better considering we were the only people in the restaurant. Can't say I will return but if you're in the area and want some Thai this place definitely has good food if it's in your budget and you are okay with smaller portions

5/5 stars just for the fact that they have such a great and extensive vegan menu and healthy options and the food is not smothered in oil, something very rare in America. Amazing service, very considerate and friendly towards all my vegetarian requests. Great prices and amazing tasting food! Restaurant has beautiful interior decor with many plants :)

The restaurant is really nice inside. They have plenty of seating. The also have a nice outdoor area, which would be really nice for those warm sunny days. The food was ok, I didn' think it was very good. Perhaps other items in their menu are tastier. Yet, we did have an overall food experience with staff. We had the green curry, yellow curry, and fried spring rolls. Both curries were not spicy. They come with rice. The service was good. The staff was quick to take our order and we received our food quickly.

Thai Basil never fails to amaze me. Their food is so good and the service is even better. The ambiance is always chill. Never that loud or crowded. People come in at waves so it's definitely a spot to check out if you're in the mood for Thai. I ate every last bit of my Pad-See-Ew. Amazing. Oh and this place has vegan options!

First tried this place on a walking tour of the city where our host informed us that the chef owner is Thai and her food is very authentic and she has been a port of the food scene in Sacramento for a while. The food was very good, highlights were the garlic fried rice and surprisingly the asparagus that came with the meat dish, I don't know how they got that flavor and grill taste, absolutely Devine! The servers were very nice but it took quite a while for us to get our order taken and the we were about halfway down with our dinner before we got our drinks. So I deducted 1 star for this two issues, I wouldn't say it was super busy as there were a few open tables but there were only two gals running waitressing so it wasn't too bad. The restaurant smelled so wonderful when you walk in and there are plants everywhere!! Someone there is a green thumb and they had the cutest propagated orchid in the bathroom. Definitely a great place for Thai food, would 10/10 recommend.

We decided to get the pad thai, pork belly pad kraw prow, pork ribs appetizer, and gai satay. They first brought out the gai satay and it was delicious. The peanut sauce that went with the dish was super yummy. Then the pork ribs came out. There were only 4 ribs and a small side of salad . I personally thought it was pretty expensive for just four pork ribs, but the ribs were extremely flavorful. I would say probably the best thing we had even though every thing was delicious. After that they served us the pad thai and pad kraw prow. Both dishes were extended wly delicious. I would definitely come back to this place.

I had this restaurant booked under my Yelp favorites in Sacramento and decided to visit again after…read moretwo years. Unfortunately, the quality of food has deteriorated since I last visited. I'm not sure if management or chef has changed but their food is not what I remembered from years ago. We initially ordered their tofu pad thai and gai yang and immediately noticed how pricey their menu was. They have a wall of specials and I remember being shocked that their orange chicken was $24. I didn't mind paying more than what I was used to for my pad thai because I remembered their food was delicious but I was shocked when my pad thai came out. It was literally drowned in sauce and looked like it was a bowl of noodle soup. I was still optimistic hoping that it tasted better than it looked but it just tasted like sweet rice noodle soup. I was hesitant to bring it up to the waitress after two bites but so glad I did because I would have hated myself if I left without saying anything. The waitress was kind and offered to remake the dish. Instead, I opted for something else because I was afraid to be disappointed again. I ordered their tofu drunken noodles since I've gotten it here before and remember it being tasty. I confirmed that the drunken noodle was going to be a dry noodle dish and thankfully it was. It was good but not the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had their gai yang which is a marinated grilled chicken dish. He said it was pretty dry without the sauce on the side but the sweet chili sauce provided was pretty tasty. It's probably not worth $26 given the how dry the chicken was and he said he would never order it again. Overall, the customer service was great and portions were good. I had to deduct 3 stars from my previous review as the food quality has significantly gone down in my experience and doesn't justify the high menu prices in my opinion.

Both packed a good amount of heat at the spicy level, which we loved. The Lao sausage was also super flavorful, but as soon as you cut it, the inside does fall apart a bit. It's a personal preference to have a denser sausage. Service was also ok. We found ourselves needing to call over the waitress a couple times, since we were just sitting waiting to order or get a box and check at the end. Flavors are worth coming back for tho.
