Drunken noodles dry and rubbery
Mike P.

Used to be good, now horrible. Same night into next day super sick like I got food poisoning. Food looked and felt old, dry and rubbery- hard shrimp and clumped together dry noodles. Should have known better not to eat it. Never going here again, not worth the risk.

Pad tofu

Our power went out right as I was about to start dinner, so I called for carry out since it is near by. My husband got chicken drunken noodles. I got pad tofu and for some reason I didn't read the menu closely and thought it was like pad Thai with tofu but it was just tofu with a little veg and sauce with rice. It took little while for them to prepare our food but it is close by so it was nice and hot when I got home. It's very clean and the service was good. We both really enjoyed our food but I would have liked more veg with my tofu. We will definitely order from here again. I'm looking forward to trying some more of their veggie options.

Pad See Yew

Wow what a great meal! My husband and I went in to do takeout for the first time and the food was amazing. We started with the crab wontons which were perfectly crisp with a wonderful flavor inside. Then we split both the pad see yew and pad Thai both were amazing. The flavoring was good and the spice level was amazing. We asked for medium spice and it was perfect. I would definitely go back again

Mango Sticky Rice!!!!

Mango sticky rice! Mango sticky rice! To be fair I really don't like Thai food. But my friends love this place so I go to be polite. The food is fine it's just not my favorite. But about 10 years ago I discovered mango sticky rice. No it's not always available but when it is it's definitely worth the trip. I live in Lakewood so this is quite far from my home. I once even drove down from the mountains in Breckenridge To get a couple of orders for breakfast the next morning. My sister-in-law and I had a condo for the week. This was good enough I thought it was worth the drive to get some for us. So once again mango sticky rice

Try the duck curry with pineapple. It's creamy and spicy and salty and fatty... it's a party and everyone is welcome! We also like the Pad Thai and the Drunken Noodles from Thai House. If you're looking to drink something interesting, try the Thai Iced Tea, which is a blend of milk/cream and strong black tea. The decorations and service is pretty good too. I would highly recommend it!

Let me start by saying I LOVE Thai House, but I'm giving a three star because the food is inconsistent. I usually come in and order the same three things. I've been in times were it was awesome, and i loved every bite. I've also been in and it wasn't the best. To be clear i'll still be coming in, but i'd come more often if I knew what I was expecting each time.

Egg rolls.

I hate to give Thai house a low rating because they used to be one of our favorite spots (haven't gone there on a couple years) but the takeout we got was just so disappointing. Massaman curry was bizarrely sweet. I mean spit back on your plate sweet. Maybe someone substituted sweetened coconut cream or condensed milk for regular coconut milk? So maybe what I got to taste was an accident? It did have some fun vegetables, so that was nice to try and pick out a few to eat. My husband ordered his dish spicy and there was no discernible spiciness at all. The egg rolls seemed fresh but only came with soy sauce so we added our own sauces. We used to go here back in the day and were excited they are now using delivery apps for food delivery. I'm not sure we will try again.

I've been a regular customer here for years! Love their food, lunch specials, and dinner choices! But - their kitchen seems to get slower every time I come back - today was just too much! Please step it up: if service gets any slower, customers will end up traveling back in time! PS: The server was great!

Pork Panang curry

It's been a few years since I've been back and the quality is terrible. The portions are so small that it's a joke. The sticky rice (attached) was $2 worth and was hard and old. The curry portion was so small and mostly veggies. We ordered medium and spicy and none of the food was spicy. For a Thai place that's not a good thing. It seems like ownership has changed as well? The servers were very quiet and didn't say anything. We ordered: - medium spicy pork panang curry - hot spicy chicken larb - medium spicy pad thai - spicy papaya (Lao style) I don't recommend this place anymore. If you want spicy and better portions go somewhere else. More in depth about the food, I'm Asian and have been to my fair share of Asian restaurants and this was disappointing. The papaya salad was missing major ingredients and was nowhere near authentic. The larb was very sour and not spicy at all. The pad Thai and curry were good. Other than that I wouldn't be going back.

Everything part of it was perfectly balanced with sweetness and spice. The rice it came with paried well and complemented the main dish. The sauce not overly sweet or hot just right. The carrots where tender enough, the onions just right, the green pepper perfect, the cashews are huge and beautiful, the peanuts tender and darling, the beef finished it off spectacularly. This would pair with a wine so devine. Overall this place is a gem and should be recognized by anyone living here. It's fantastic. Highly suggest 10/10

There were six of us in our party. I ordered the chicken pot stickers for my son and me to share. They were crispy on the outside with tender filling. They came with soy sauce for dipping. Tasty, I would get again. For our meals, I chose the Drunken Noodles, medium with chicken. These met my expectations. Tasty sauce, just enough heat, tender chicken, onions, carrots and cabbage too. I ate half and brought half home to have as my lunch the next day. My son chose the Pad Thai, mild with chicken. Overall he liked it but it was a bit heavy on the fish sauce. He still enjoyed his meal, but felt he would chose a different dish next time. Our friends all enjoyed their appetizers and entrees. We had good conversation. At the end, there was not problem breaking the check into the different groupings.

This is my family & I 2nd time here in Denver and after finding this place the 1st visit we make it a point to come to this location. I always get the Mongolian beef with fried rice (no egg; I'm allergic) My husband always gets the General Tso chicken with the fried rice and he ALWAYS orders this and never has a complaint. My son gets the Sesames chicken also with fried rice and it's sweet and crunchy as they fry the chicken to mix in their sauce and it's worth every penny. Every time! Service sometimes can be short in communication but expected especially when they're working all day and don't have time to eat but their food never misses! I was greeted and seated immediately upon arrival, and was shocked at the breadth of the menu!!! They offer so many dishes!!! I was only able to snap a few photos of the menu, but they have a full menu online. I decided on getting 1 appetizer, 1 main dish, and 1 drink. I ended up ordering the fried tofu, pork Pad Thai, and an Iced Thai tea. Fried Tofu appetizer $10 5/5 They fry the tofu for at least 6 minutes (per the owner and chef) which gives the outside this delicious shell that makes the most mouthwatering crunch sound when you bite into it. You'd almost think it was fried chicken! It's accompanied by a sweet and sour peanut sauce that gives the tofu this combination of flavors and textures in the mouth. It's a very playful and delightful dish. Pad Thai Noodles $17 4.5/5 Very authentic, and it lets the sauce do the talking without being overly overpowering. The tamarind is forward and present, not hidden by overt sweetness. It complements the noodles well, which are a nice medium thickness, which are easy to eat without soaking up too much sauce. A *little* bit pricey for my single-person budget, but it's honestly worth the splurge every once in a while! Iced Thai Tea with milk $6 (I got this on the house when I mentioned this group!!!) 5/5 Delicious! They also offer it with a lime juice base! So make sure to specify which base you want, if they don't ask. Final Words: I'm so so happy to have an amazing Thai place in SW Denver!! The menu is extensive, so I'm going to have fun exploring all of the dishes. I loved chatting with the owners, and it's very evident they know authentic Thai cuisine. I'll definitely be adding this to my work lunch rotation!! Please go support them and keep this place busy and thriving!!! Edit to add: they're closed on Wednesdays!

The broth was deep and aromatic and the portion size, especially with the beef rib, was massive. Everything was so impressive that since that visit, this place has been on my regular rotation for pho. Beside Pho, they have a few other offerings, one of which is rather unique. For the more adventurous, Faifo offers a spicy beef pho. This is a dry-style pho serves with all the fixin' and a spicy sate style sauce that makes for an amazing meal on a hot day. It also comes with a bowl of pho broth for satisfying sips between bites. This is easily one of my favorite dish on the menu and a must try here. Beside that, I've also had their Bun Bo Hue, which is pretty dang tasty. The broth is very tasty, though not as funky or spicy as ones I've had in Vietnam. Nonetheless, it's a mighty tasty bowl and something to get for the colder days here in Denver. Both the Bo Kho and the Banh Canh are also very good as well, though not a must compared to other dishes on the menu. Overall, Faifo is a great Vietnamese restaurant. The value is also tremendous given the portion size. This is an easy 4/5 for me.

Their bò kho definitely reminds me of my father's recipe, which is rich and not overly sweet. This aromatic Vietnamese beef stew is a fragrant broth infused with lemongrass, star anise, and spices. It's a bowl of distinct and complex flavor profile that balances savory, sweet, spicy notes, with a vibrant brick-red color from the annatto seeds. The cuts of beef shank, flank, and chuck were soft so you know they spent hours simmering to achieve this level of tenderness. The deep beef profile is highlighted when adding bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime juice to cut through the richness and carrots provided a natural sweetness to the savory broth. Bánh canh is a Vietnamese noodle soup featuring thick, chewy noodles made from tapioca flour, rice flour, or a mix, served in a flavorful broth with various toppings like pork, shrimp, crab, or fish cake. The broth is clean from the hours of simmering bones to create a savory, collagen-rich base. You can taste the freshness of the soup garnished with fresh cilantro, green onions, fried shallots, lime, and chili oil. Plus you get a boat load of proteins and garnishes - shrimp cake, imitation crab meat, shrimp, quail egg, mushroom, tapioca noodle, onion, cilantro and black pepper. We'll be back and try the bún bò huế and cá ri.
