It's a very enjoyable experience. The red curry and green curry both have great flavor. I like spicy food, but this place makes delicious mild dishes. The heat will never overpower the dish. This allows you to have a mild experience while still enjoying the dish. They have an excellent tea selection even though I'm typically not a tea guy. Their spring rolls are the best I've had. I don't usually like spring rolls. The service is good, and the place is very well maintained. read more

Great dinner with my husband on our anniversary. We'd been there once before and had soup, wanted to try dinner. The waitress remembered where we sat and what we had... from 1 week prior. Dinner tonite as great as their soups, which are sampled on arrival. Jungle curry, beef stir fry with their amazing peanut sauce, potstickers, and a My Thai My Thai tonight. Atmosphere is great, with fermenting casks, hats and field implements accenting the decor. We'll be back! read more

While in the midst of this pandemic, I felt completely safe. The tables were super spaced out and everything was clean. Gotta give it up for the new Thai restaurant! My wife and I have been waiting and waiting for TGB to open and now the wait is over. We just finished lunch with a friend and they did not disappoint! Not only did they handle all the COVID criteria very well, the service was wonderful and the food was awesome! Very bright and fresh. Everything was delicious! The meal started with a complimentary taste test platter of three of their soups. Very smart of them, and all were very tasty. We ordered the summer rolls with tofu to get started. Great presentation, fresh taste and the peanut sauce was outstanding! After that it was on to the entrees. There is a lot to choose from. A lot! We were already talking about what we would order next time even before we got our meals. We ordered Pad Kee Mao(drunken noodles), Gaeng Daeng (yellow curry) and Gaeng Massaman. We all were able to grab a little taste of each of the meals and we all agreed how satisfying and happy we were with everything. EVERYTHING! I'm so glad to have them in the neighborhood. The interior was beautiful, & the staff were very polite. Unfortunately I don't go to restaurants mainly for the looks and/or politeness. I go to eat my food & get out. It took 2 hours for my food to even arrive, while everyone else was being served courses upon courses- It wasn't busy. When I did get my food, it wasn't even the dish I expected. They mislabel their dishes on their menu. They also added extras to my dish such as condiments & garnishments that I simply didn't want in there, it should've been on the side. Last but not least I found a hair in my food. They only took it back with no apology or meal redo. My friends & I just asked for to go boxes & they still charged my friends meals. Very enjoyable meal. While I enjoy Hmong food it was nice to have a Thai dining experience. The attention to detail is high, food plated beautifully. Lots of spice level options, and very flavorful. Service was very friendly, it was nice that they let us sample the soups. They also proactively asked about any food allergy concerns, which is always appreciated. All the items we had were enjoyable, the drinks were also delicious. Try the Thai Arnold Palmer, never saw that before, and it was great. Interior is very clean and the decor is nice. They have amazing food. I love their chicken satay for an appetizer and their curries have all been really flavorful and tasty. I would honestly reccoment teying this place if you havent. Excellent service and great food! Obvious they take great pride in service and expertly seasoned dishes. Every dish order is VERY tasteful. Upon arriving a warm hot towel is brought to the table. Amazingly they remembered my drink when I returned for another meal after several months had passed since I was last in Appleton. Do not order carry out unless you have lots of time to wait. We called in our order and was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. I arrived on time and waited another 45 minutes to get the food! The hostess kept saying our order would be right up. I watched four people come in after me, wait 20 minutes or so, get their food and leave. I would have asked for my money back and left but we had also ordered food for house guests. The hostess gave no explanation or apology when asked. Very frustrating experience, a little honesty and acknowledgment would have helped. read more

Disgusting! They put fish sauce in their pork noodles . My husband tried to return the meal for something else because he doesn't like fish and the server said well you still have to pay for it. !!??!! The egg rolls smelled and tasted like old dog food. Never again!! read more

Appleton's dining options just got a great boost! This newcomer has a very attractive decor , offers an extremely broad and creative menu at fair prices and is conveniently located! What a wonderful new addition to the dining scene in the Valley. Haven't eaten in yet, due to the covid pandemic, but our takeaway order was superb in every way. I ordered the "Eggplant Lover" and my wife had the Green Curry with chicken. We both enjoyed a bowl of outstanding Tom Kha. Everything was TERRIFIC, and the portions were generous. Be aware: they do spiciness as you order. I like very spicy food and ordered "8" on a scale of 1-10. It was very good, but next time I will order a "7". This is not a complaint. Very few Asian restaurants serve dishes as spicy as I customarily order them. We'll definitely go back, frequently, to try some of the many unique and delightfully described dishes. Try it, you'll love it. They encountered incredible challenges to get this new place open. They've done it right and deserve to be successful. read more

Had lunch today with two coworkers. It was amazing! Very clean, thoughtful decor, friendly (masked) staff, love the open kitchen concept, and most importantly excellent food. Highly recommend, and will return to try more dishes. Best thai food I've had in awhile! Very authentic. First time we had it, it brought me right back to when we vacationed in Thailand. The inside of the restaurant is immaculate, well decorated, and very clean. You can see into the kitchen and watch them work and the kitchen is equally as clean. We made a reservation for 5:30 pm to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My husband had a surprise planned for 7:30 pm. We ordered within 10 min, and so we waited and waited and waited. Nobody came to check on us, at some point my husband said let me move the glasses to see if they notice we need more water. At least we got water refilled. After 1.5 hour wait and nobody coming to say anything I went to ask when our meal was coming. After 10 min a waitress came back and said we needed to wait 20 more min and so we waited again. Long after 20 min I went back to ask. The hostess/manager ignored me, after I asked if she heard me she said she did. Then I said so could you find out what's going on we have other plans. She came back and rudely said it would be 20 more min... no apology offered, instead she said "I can't keep track I am busy". We said thank you we will leave. There was no apology offered. Whoever made the bad review should be excommunicated from the food industry. This is THE BEST THAI food that i have had in all of the Fox Valley. I was hungry and wanted to order I called the phone rang several times no one answered I thought the business was closed . I called again and after several rings someone finally answered and I asked the lady who answered what are the best selling dishes and what she recommended , she was very rushed and ignored my question and said are u ready to order why don't u check the menu and just call back I said no I don't want to do that since u guys took a long time to answer and she was insisting repeatedly that I just call back that they're very busy I said no I'll just order now since I'm familiar with Thai food so I just ordered red curry , coconut shrimp and pad Thai . The lady had a very heavy accent and was hard to understand and she was rushing me and said ok I already got ur order and told me it will be ready in 50 minutes . That's ridiculous but I still went ahead with the order coz I was hungry and the food wasn't even ready till after one hour ! Seriously ! Thai food takes one hour to prepare ? When I went there the place wasn't even busy wonder why it took them one hour to make the food . When I got the food it was so so - the coconut shrimp was greasy , the sauce had a weird taste and smell like chinese herbal not the regular chili sauce I'm used to . The pad Thai was very mushy and had a bitter garlic taste to it . The red curry was more like just coconut milk not much red curry flavor and was watery and not much vegetables . The price was also high - 42$ for just 2 entrees and 1 appetizer ?! One hour to wait for mediocre food and rude not very friendly staff !? Never again . Wouldn't recommend . Not worth it . Worst experience ever. Had a date night with a close friend. We got sat down right away, our waitress came to take our drink orders and appetizers and left. Waited another 15 - 20 mins for our appetizers. Then after we finished our appetizers, we waited a WHOLE 45 to almost 1 hour for our food to come out (5 dishes total). Not to mention I had to flag down a staff 2x about our food order why it's been 45 minutes when they were not even busy and most tables were done eating already. Fast Forward...while eating, our waitress did NOT come check up on us to see if we needed anything else. We were ignored for the next 30 minutes while eating. Flag the waitress down again to get our to-go boxes. We stayed there for 2.5 hours because our food took FOREVER and no customer service at all. Great food BUT DO NOT COME HERE if you are in a hurry or have plans after dinner, YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED. Save yourself some stress and go somewhere else. read more
