It's a small "blink and you miss it" place, but Chicago is famous for these types of restaurants. Two dogs, fries, and a drink for just over $10? That's not a bad deal at all if you ask me! If you're looking for Italian Beef, Polish Sausage, or Chicago Style Hot Dogs...this is the place for you to go! They have other stuff there too, and while I'm sure it's great...I just can't shy away from MY version of Soul Food!

I called the restaurant and was told I cannot help you call back another time and talk to the Manager . This is not the fault of the Uber driver it takes literally 4 minutes to reach here. All I can say is WOW...both were great sandwiches. We should have...the sandwiches were large (and I DID manage to eat all mine!) and absolutely delicious! The staff, though busy, was very friendly and the truck even had the ability to pay via tap. The smoked flavor did not stand out at all, it just tasted like meat, not really even like turkey. The lettuce and tomato did what they were supposed to. Now, the Cinnabon, decatent. That store has since closed and I've found myself miserable as a Madison resident with no Schlotzsky's nearby. Luckily, I have a new reason to visit the Appleton area which is home to this wonderful restaurant. I've been to this specific location a few times in the last year and each time it has gotten better (if that's even possible because it was amazing the first time). Needless to say, the staff and service is great, clean restaurant, and delicious food. I am a lifelong customer for sure.

The first thing to know is that servings are ginormous, so order accordingly! I ordered the breakfast sandwich (just a croissant with some ham and cheese) and it took up the whole plate, no lie! It was also delicious, the cheese was cheesy (and messy, which was a plus and a minus), and the croissant was light and fluffy. I also had one of their flavored lattes, and it was delicious as well. I know they use homemade syrups and it shows. Pro tip though-the lattes fill you up (not so great when they also give you huge portions of food). The staff is friendly, and service is pretty good. On our second visit we did wait quite a while for our food-it was busy, but not packed, so that felt a little off. But otherwise service has been great. They do have an outdoor seating area-we unfortunately haven't been able to try it yet, but I would like to as it looks great!

Since I was back in the area for few days, I decided to go back to SAP as it's one of the few…read moreplaces in town that is farm to table. My experience this time around was a little bit more of a let down hence why I had to take one star off. When I went few months ago, I had burnt coffee which I chalked it up as a one time error. But it happened again with this visit, so that told me they don't really pay much attention to their coffee yet they have a whole menu dedicated to coffee. I also made a reservation on a Sunday knowing it fills up quick and that it might be hard to get a table, however, it was an hour and half before they close which means they tend to slow down around that time. Also, when making a reservation, it'll ask you if you want bar, dining area or patio. I chose dining area. Yet they called me an half hour before to see if I wanted to sit at the bar, which I told them twice in person I do not want to, and as a result the hostess gave me the annoyed/judgmental look down when I wasn't looking. As someone who has owned a family restaurant business for 30 years, that's a big no-no in terms of customer service. It's just rude and unnecessary. Also, they kind of really try to get customers out by 2, which is when they close. By standard at most restaurants, they need an extra hour after closing for customers to take their time with their meals rather than rushing through it, especially if you will sit them 20 minutes before closing time. I felt rushed, and I don't like that feeling at a place I'm trying to enjoy my meal. Would I come back here? Absolutely yes because their food is really the best for brunch in the area and it's cleaner. It just shouldn't be an excuse with certain things like what I mentioned above. P.S. if chicken and waffles happens to be one of the specials, get it. It's by far the best dish I've ever tried there and also my top 3 chicken & waffles that I've tried anywhere. SO GOOD!

If you're like me and believe "there can never be enough cilantro" yes yes yes. I love the abundant veggies. And for me--what makes a difference between a real bahn mi and a total faker--the bread. And they delivered on a great bread with chewy crust and soft insides. Everything felt super fresh. My friend and I were divided on the stuffed chicken wings. I felt they were a little small and overcooked. He loved them and said they were the most flavorful ones he's ever had. It does take a while to get your food (10-15 mins) while you're waiting around in the store.
