We ordered on 5/25/2021, in time for a late dinner. While the Pad See Ew and Red Curry was tasty, unfortunately our Duck Tamarind was revoltingly disappointing. It's one of the priciest items on the menu but our delivery came out nothing like we anticipated. The duck was a day old; hard, rubbery, dark colored, had an odd smell. It had the texture of being previously fried-then frozen-then just mixed with the rest. We eat duck regularly so we know what good quality is. The vegetables were wilted and dark colored too, and the sauce diluted and murky. Hope this won't happen again to any other family. read more

I absolutely love Thai food and it's hard to find authentic Thai. This restaurant didn't disappoint, my friends and I enjoyed the attentive service, the ambience and of course the food, 9/10. I had the Spicy Drunken Noodles with Beef, my friend had Thai Fried Rice with Shrimp (both absolutely delicious) and our other friend had Basil Eggplant dish. It was a bit spicy for her but she did enjoy it and consumed the entire dish. If you are sensitive to spicy foods do ask for suggestions on the menu. It's a wonderful restaurant, I am surprised at some negative reviews to be honest. Our waitress was super sweet and gave us great service. We definitely will be back again. read more

This new Thai Restaurant was truly Excellent, no nonsense here, the food is just Plain VERY GOOD. No excuses for being "Authentic" and then serving food that is uneatable. Good Asian food does not need to be "Spicy". But just have good flavorful taste. I think that the proof lies with the owners. Service was terrible. And apparently a problem here based on other reviews. My partners meal came out first. After 10-15 minutes of waiting we decided to eat so it wouldn't get cold. Then we finished, almost 30-45 minutes and my meal still hadn't arrived. It was a Salmon and eggplant dish, not that long to cook. Decided to ask another waitress to check on our food and suddenly it comes out. Clearly my meal was forgotten and clearly looked plated in a rush. And they did nothing to make it right. I decided to politely let the young girl at the register know what happened at the end before we left and she said she was sorry but couldn't do anything about it because she's not a manager. Ordered for the first time after seeing them renovating , opening, closing , opening again . As a number one fan of Thai food I always try new places. This is my absolute favorite type of food. This place is unfortunately not meeting any "standards" Small portions, plenty of mistake in the order, and bottom line, the family agreed all that neither of the items were any where near good. Left 3/4 in the plates which says it all. Very unfortunate but an honest review. I hope they do better next time as I alway try twice, this could have been a bad day. read more

This was our first time at Thai Chic and we were satisfied. We loved the decor and ambience. Soft music, floral accents, statement wall paper, cute chandelier and very spacious. We ordered the tom.kha soup which was thick and has the perfect blend of coconut and lemongrass flavor. Even my fiance who hates Tom kha soup really enjoyed it. The Thai iced tea was great, the mango tango mocktail had a cute presentation but didn't taste that good. The only thing we did not like we're the crab sliders, there was barely any crab and the lettuce didn't taste fresh. The drunken Udon was so delicious, and the crispy half chicken with fried rice was okay, pretty basic. We got mango sticky rice for dessert and it was so delicious, a little light on the coconut sauce but really yummy. Service was good. My second trip to Thai Bistro was actually worse than the first. This is a restaurant with two spacious rooms and only one server. There were five of us and we waited almost 30 minutes to order appetizers. It was a very bad experience, at best the food is not good, they couldn't serve our group together and plates sat on the table while we waited for everyone else to be served. Halfway through our meal we heard yelling coming from the kitchen. All of the staff were gathered in the kitchen having a huge fight which went on for over 20 minutes. That was 20 minutes with no staff on the floor. I can only warn you to stay away. If you like inauthentic overpriced Thai food, with incredibly bad service, this place is for you !!! read more

Got the Thai Chic Combo appetizer and loved it. All the items were perfectly fried, not greasy at all and each had a nice flavor and thier own unique dipping sauce. My favorite was the money bag, it was so cute and tasty. Fast and friendly service. I will definitely return and look forward to bringing friends and family there in the future. read more

I ordered delivery, got the duck pad Thai, chicken basil fried rice, curry puffs, and Thai iced tea. By the best Thai bistro on the island. Starting off with the curry puffs, it was so airy and crispy and the filling was very delicious. The pad Thai was very flavorful and duck was so tender and yummy. Pretty solid for a neighborhood Thai spot. The mango and sticky rice was yummy, just needed more milk. The drunken noodles were well seasoned. The panang curry was tasty. A true gem to this town. We love thai food but the closest is in RVC, even so our favorite has always been in Franklin Square. But this was such a pleasant surprise. We're so glad it finally opened although during tough times. We ordered takeout for the first time last night. Pineapple fried rice with chicken, tamarind duck, an order of chicken satay and an order of mango with sticky rice. When we opened the bag we found a thai iced tea, so good. Everything was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed it so much. Also, the BEST mango with sticky rice i've had.. ever. My brother went in to pick up the food but over the phone who I spoke to was so nice, not rushing and made sure to double check the order. We've seen tables set up for outdoor dining with cute stringy lights and quite a few people throughout the weeks but for now we still prefer takeout. Hoping this all passes soon to dine like we used to! My brother said it looked great inside :) we'll be ordering again very soon! read more

I absolutely loved this place. The ambiance is so nice, feels super COVID safe, the food is amazing, and the pricing is super reasonable. I've spent a couple months in Thailand and I can easily say that the food here is on par with some of the best food I ate while I was there. It is literally sooooooo good. We drive here from Brooklyn, where there is no indoor dining at all right now. But we will continue to make the trip when New York City reopens. The lunch, which is a small appetizer, ( pot stickers for me, veg. dumpling for the Mrs. ) and then Chicken Massaman for her, Panang for me. The Massaman curry is extremely flavorful, with plenty of taste, but mild spice. The Panang is spicier, but they will adjust the "heat" on request. Service is friendly and warm, and seating is very COVID appropriate. The lunch costs TEN dollars. read more

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and quite big. There's a second room that could probably be a party room. There is a large menu and there were a good number of vegan options for me. The food is delicious and well presented. The portions sizes are great. It was reasonably priced and seemed really fancy, like a place that would be in nyc. Overall, a good value and I will be going back. They also have the tables really spread out because of Covid. read more
