We got shrimp pad Thai, which was really yummy. We actually love that. We also ordered the cod in a coconut sauce. That was very delicious. The cod was a very small portion. I picked Thai Chic Bistro to meet a couple of friends for lunch based on recommendations my cousin shared with me. I thought it wonderful as did my friends. If I lived in the area I'd be there a couple of times a month. My friends live some towns over but both said they'd return for sure. The hostess/waitress was very nice, easy to speak with, fully attentive, not obtrusive, and fully knowledgeable about the menu. Two of us had noodles, one had curry. I ordered Pad Thai asking for it to be somewhat spicy and spice was added perfectly for my taste. The curry with mock duck was very spicy. (We all enjoyed it though.) I think the spice was infused in the mock duck. Some folks may want to ask that to be mild. For desert we had the coconut ice cream and all loved it. I asked about it and learned the chef makes it. Had a wonderful birthday compliments of my co-workers during tax season. They ordered Uber eats so I have not been inside to rate it or the service. I had an abundance of food to choose from as they ordered all the things I said I liked. The chicken satay was nicely cooked, not dry at all. The curry red chicken was excellent with a lot of heat to go with it. I also loved the shrimp pad Thai which was plentiful for the next day for both entrees. I also had two Thai teas which were delicious as expected . To finish it off, I had a chocolate mousse cake which I loved and I do not order chocolate deserts. I would love to visit the restaurant one day. I took away one star because there were no utensils of napkins included. For the price spent, I would hope they'd include those most basic things. Came across this little gem when my husband and I were looking for dinner on a Thursday evening. This restaurant popped up on our GPS and we were so hungry we just went with it, and we were pleasantly surprised. It was empty but they had a lot of takeout orders. Upon entering we were greeted by two cheerful ladies and was seated immediately. The restaurant's decor was very cute. As someone from the city I always keep my expectations mid for Long Island food because, well, nothing beats Queens food generally but the food here has been really good and consistent. I've ordered from here twice and each time the food has been great. I usually get the drunken noodles with chicken and pineapple fried rice, and my partner usually gets green curry. The tempura was a bit harder than expected and the squid itself was a tiny bit chewy. Overall, it was pretty decent app. The Hoi Jor was very unique and was a completely new experience. It was a bit oily but was very flavorful. There was a mix of crabmeat, shrimp, and water chestnuts that were wrapped in a dried bean curd sheet. Overall, it was delicious! The Massaman Curry was very rich and creamy, and the avocado was a great touch! I especially loved that it wasn't too thick or watery; the consistency of the curry was perfect. The aroma of the curry further contributed to its deliciousness. The Spicy Drunken Noodles was amazing! It was spicy so beware if you don't like spicy. But I felt the spiciness only enhanced the taste and flavor. The noodles had a firm consistency, and absorbed the flavor perfectly. I can see why this is a popular dish! We ordered Spicy Basil Fried Rice with shrimp, Udon Drunken Noodle with shrimp, and Pot Sticker with chicken in it. It was slightly cold when it arrived. But not their fault. It traveled. Thai Chic Bistro is my hands down number 1 go to spot whenever I'm forced to do the dreadful Walmart run The food is very Authentic and looks delicious. They always put an emphasis on the details so the camera eats first. The service is great , the staff is very pleasant. They go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your meal. The Happy Hour is from 11am to 3pm I think and they offer a variety of choices. awesome signature cocktails & mocktails . The decor is antique but polished. This place gives a hearty portion of protein with the noodles!! Noodles were soft and tasty, not as spicy as I like but that's not a huge issue. The "salad" was basically just duck and a few vegetables, not so much lettuce, but I'm not complaining, it was DELICIOUS. The lime dressing was a nice touch, and I loved the cashews in it. Every time I come here, the place is always empty. One time I sat down and there was only a few tables filled and no one came to take my order, give me water or set the table for 30 mins. Myself and another table had to leave. I'm not sure if they're understaffed between to-go orders and dine in patrons. I also have ordered take out as well but they're extremely expensive. Since when is Thai Iced tea $6.50?! Pad see ew with shrimp is $15.95?! And basic dumplings is $10...Very pricey in comparison to other spots. Their food is good but spending $26 for a meal for takeout is no longer feasible for me. I'll continue to go to Centre Thai Bistro where their food is cheaper and just as tasty. I highly recommend this place if you're craving some good thai food. This was one of the few restaurants in the area that had outdoor seating (came during covid season), so we decided to try it out on a Monday afternoon. We walked in when they just opened, so we did have to wait for them to set up the outdoor seating. However, everything else about our experience was a 10/10! For our appetizers, we got the curry puffs and the chicken wings. Both were good, but the curry puffs were my favorite. They came nice and hot, with the perfect crunchy bite and soft flavorful melt in your mouth filling. I really enjoyed the cucumber dipping sauce too. Got the spicy drunken noodles as my meal and WOAH. The flavor!! On point. It was so delicious. My bf got the green curry and he loved that as well (and I'd say he's a real tough food critic) The bill came out to $42 for two apps and two meals (one being a lunch special that comes with a small app). You really can't beat that price. Our server was very attentive and our food came out quickly with great presentation. Red curry was spicy which is fine because not everyone can make mild given paste is bit spicy. The chicken in both dishes seemed to be left over from days ago which tasted dry and chewy in both dishes. We decided to order pineapple fried rice with tofu which was another bad dish.
