If you want to have some time to chat with the owner and learn a bit more about your food, you should plan to make a visit soon because this restaurant will get much busier once more people find out about it. This is located in the corner of a small strip mall on Lake Cook Rd, with plenty of parking right by the entrance and a sign that's not too obvious from the road (most everyone will probably turn in from Lexington though). Service is fairly quick at the moment as they are a new business, and friendly. Food portions and prices are very good -- which makes it very approachable as you're probably going to spend at least 50% more elsewhere for smaller portions. This doesn't really have any effect on ingredient quality as the dishes are full of fresh vegetables and herbs to build the flavor. For me, the cooking feels a bit on the healthier side, building flavors through the ingredients instead of relying purely on sauces. With an item like the Hawaiian fried chicken, much of the flavor came from a mix of green onion, white onion, peppers, and pineapples with just a light sauce to tie everything together with the lightly battered crisp fried chicken. For many diners, something like the Sesame Chicken might be a bit more familiar with a sweet chili sauce that balances sweet and saltiness together with a nice crisp batter, resembling a tempura preparation. Similarly with the shrimp pad thai, the egg, onion, peanuts, and tamarind provided a good base so that the dish didn't feel excessively saucy. The Thai Pepper steak is a little more saucy, though it is served with a good helping of tomatoes, peppers and onions. The Massamun curry has a good level of sweetness from the coconut milk with a light level of spiciness, and peanuts to add a bright earthy contrast to the dish -- a nice beginner curry for someone looking for something flavorful but not overwhelming. The rangoon is crispy and light, and goes well with the sweet chili sauce. The pad see ewe is also a bit on the sweet side, with chewy wide noodles that contrast well with the lightly crunchy small cut broccoli crowns. Overall, a good value oriented option for Thai. New Thai place -very clean and friendly service. Went for early dinner on Friday and it was not busy. Food, especially the curry dish we ordered, was on the light side. The noodle dish though, has a robust flavor. I personally really enjoyed the dish except the beef was a little more chewy than I prefer. Ordered mango sticky rice, a classic Thai dessert. The food is delicious, however, the portions are very skimpy. We ordered Panang curry and there was literally 3 small pieces of broccoli, 4 small thin pieces of chicken and 3 small slices of carrots in a large container of sauce. They need to be more generous with the portions on the curry dishes. This is some of the best food I've ever had in my life. The barbecued pork fried rice is incredible. Slice pieces of pork not little chunks. Then go over to the sesame chicken it has a tiny little bit of kick but I can't even eat red pepper so I would tell you to let them cook it as is. It comes with white rice. They have great crab meat rangoons. The pad thai was shrimp is outstanding! And I really enjoy sweet Thai chili paste. It's a solid 10. End of story! These people have one specials that are absolutely ridiculously low on price the quality of their food is outstanding. The dinners are very very reasonably priced and the quality for your dollar is superior. Go here and try the food. I have no involvement in this restaurant whatsoever I'm just a customer and I'm telling you the food is awesome. The people that work there are always nice. Long overdue review for a local favorite of ours. The flavors are both rich but not too heavy. Priced fairly and a good amount of food per order. Our go-to's consist of the pad thai and pad see ew (beef, pork, chicken, all haven't gone wrong). The red, green, and yellow curries all have distinct flavors and have hit the spot every time. The underrated gem though is the Chicken Jasmine Rice soup. Especially through the cold winters we've gotten here, this soup has been our favorite "get well soon" option and usually always is included in our order. The owner and the rest of the staff are always helpful amidst fielding the seemingly non-stop series of takeout orders over the phone. While the food carries out very well, we've also enjoyed eating in a few times and haven't had any issues. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for some good Thai. read more

i can here because of the high reviews but was super disappointed. the restaurant is super small but bright and clean. the staff seemed super busy and short staffed. i ordered the chicken teriyaki, parang curry and pad thai. the panang curry had a weird consistency.. almost like there was too much corn starch added and no vegetables. only chicken. i have never had curry like this so i was really taken aback and ended up throwing the rest away. the teriyaki chicken was super watery. and the pad thai was just meh. also to note i ordered the pad thai a spice level 1 and it was too spicy... probably level 4. the restaurant seems new so hope it was just an off day. the other reviews seem very positive. read more

Clean, fresh ingredients, very generous portions, every item is labeled by the person's name for doordash/ubereats/etc., and it hits the spot every time. Don't be folded by the generic storefront - this place is hopping. I ordered online and arrived to find a queue of people waiting. The wait was worth the time. I ordered the pad kee mao and the shrimp shumai. The shumai was tender but the wonton had a slight crisp, which was different and yummy. The order size was generous as well. I was very pleased with the main. Again the portion was very generous and the ingredients were super fresh. The all white meat chicken was cooked very well - both tender and moist. I had the Spicy Garlic and Chili Sauce with Chicken. The chicken was old, dry and chewy. I like spicy, but the amount of heat was ridiculous, I had to stop half way through. And the sauce was brown colored water. Very unappetizing and made the lettuce all limp and slimy. And too sweet. Just like the mushy overcooked Pad Thai I had last year.
