I enjoyed the pad see ew dish. I liked the wide noodles tossed with egg, beef and broccoli. I liked the pad see ew dish a bit more than the Lad Nar because of the consistency and texture of the sauce. The Pad See Ew was stir fried in a soy sauce marinade while the Lad Nar was covered in a really thick gravy. The garlic and pepper beef dish was flavorful but a smidge salty and a tad on the tough side to chew. My kids love the Sesame Chicken with the sweet chili sauce. The breading is crispy and crunchy even with the sweet chili glaze covering it. The baby eggrolls were a light delight as an appetizer. This is a great place when you don't have time to meal plan and need dinner quick! The staff was friendly and service was fairly fast. The restaurant is a fairly small space, but I still enjoyed my eating experience there. I have had their food once only and that too as take out by a family member. I liked their food right away on the first try. We ordered a Combination (appetizer) Platter, a salad noodle dish called Yum Woon Sen, Chicken Pad Kee Mow, Curry Fried Rice w/ Chicken, and Khao Soy w/ Chicken. The appetizers included Golden Bags (4), Rice Dumplings (4), Baby Egg Rolls (4) and Pot Stickers (fried)(4). The golden bags and the egg rolls were the best items. The Yum Woon Sen which had shrimp and ground pork, mixed with bean thread, onions, green onions, red onion, cilantro and chef's spicy dressing was very delicious. The Pad Kee Mow was aromatic in its stir-fried char smell and tasted really good in its flavor. Khao Soy is among my most favorite Thai dishes and this one food not disappoint. It's flavor was quite to my liking. The curry fried rice chicken was good as well. We enjoyed our meal as we liked the food a lot. I'll be going back here for more. I went to Thai Buri for the first time back in December 20, 2024 while looking for Thai food near work. Inside is clean and simple. When I arrived, they brought out a chicken and cilantro soup with a crab rangoon looking item as a complimentary. These were so tasty! They have great lunch specials. My bf and I tried the chicken pad Thai and pad kee mao with beef. Good portions, great prices. We finished it off with a mango and sweet sticky rice for dessert. I love places that have this dessert. Service was quick and food came out fast. It's a solid and comforting Thai spot in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get their food. I'd go back if I was in the area. read more

The server who I think might be one of the owners was very polite and since my friends don't like spicy foods,she prepared their entrees to their liking. Started with an order of Golden Bags which were filled with crab and shrimp . Not greasy at all and came with a sweet chili red sauce for dipping. I had the Pad See Ewe with chicken. Very flavorful but would have liked more broccoli. My wife who is Gluten Free had the Pad Kee Mao with beef and tomatos,broccoli and basil. Very flavorful. When you first walk in the door lit looks very clean and bright. There are a couple pieces of wall art but it lacks personality. This is a nice informal place to dine. I ordered the small Tom Yom Noodle soup with mushrooms instead of meat. It was very temperature hot My husband ordered the Pad Thai with Beef. He loved it and said he would order it again! Our waitress was really sweet and our food came out quickly and kept our ice waters full. So glad we came here and gave this Thai restaurant a try! I'll tell ya, I really wanted a new local Thai place and hoped for great things after a good referral. Alas, beware of skinny people making restaurant suggestions, lol. The good: nice size dishes. Multiple levels of spices. Chicken egg rolls were filled nicely. Tom Yum soup was good but not the best I've had. It was fair to good. The not so good: too wide a range on pick up window. Created a no crispy egg roll situation. App doesn't tell you how many pieces of egg rolls so for $8.50 we had twice as many as needed. Soup only comes one way on app, no choice for single size. Pad Thai- sorry but it was almost tasteless. No lime to help add acid. Yuck. Pad see-ewe beef was good but beef was a bit tough. Basil Chicken was the most flavorful dish but not got old fast when I though of how it tasted vs the other two lame dishes. I wish local restaurants the best but ya gotta pick up the flavor and adjust some of the issues on ordering system ( grub hub) via Yelp. Soooooo good I can cry I had moved from downtown to Des Plaines and I count find any good Thai restaurants until I stumbled upon this one. I had the basil fried rice with shrimp and they made it spicy. I also had the drunken noodles with shrimp, omg it was so perfect and a perfect amount of spicy heat. I was being greedy that day, so I grabbed crab rangoons and veggie eggrolls, both delightful. Came in during lunch with a group of colleagues. We noticed that they have lunch specials that include a soup and appetizer. When our server came over, she brought over their standard offering. Both options were non-vegetarian and no other option was offered. The members of the group that had both definitely enjoyed both. It would have been nice to have been offered an alternative as there was nothing noted on the menu that there was only 1 option for the added lunch special benefit. When we got to ordering, the server slightly mixed up clarifications on the order (2 spicy pad khee Mao with tofu and garlic fried rice -less spicy). The pick up time was less than 20 mins for 3 entrees. Portions were decently sized and they were open for dine in. The restaurant looked open and clean. The food was a little disappointing. Great new Thai restaurant located in Wheeling! I noticed this opened up in a small strip mall down the street from Walmart and Target. I called ahead to pick up 2 lunch specials on a Friday afternoon and service was very prompt. The restaurant itself was spacious and clean. The price of the lunch special was a very good value for the amount of food included and the regular menu appeared to be very reasonable as well. My pad see ew was delicious! Had all the right flavors plus the pieces of beef were high quality. The panang curry had a great flavor, but a different texture than I'm used to. It does not include any vegetables in it which was the one negative. The lunch specials came with a small soup and appetizer of the day which was a nice perk. read more

Definitely worth checking out! I ate lunch here with a friend on July 16. The menu featured a wide variety of lunch special dishes for just $8.50. I opted for my go-to, cashew chicken, which was noted as spicy on the menu. My only complaint is that it really wasn't spicy at all -- my plate included a couple of chili peppers, but there was no consistent heat throughout the dish. Otherwise, everything was great! The food tasted good and came with a cup of delicious soup as well as a fried appetizer, which we received before even placing our lunch orders. The soup was actually my favorite part of this meal. I can't wait to return for more and to try additional dishes. My friend's pad Thai looked amazing and that is at the top of my list of entrees to try. If you want to have some time to chat with the owner and learn a bit more about your food, you should plan to make a visit soon because this restaurant will get much busier once more people find out about it. This is located in the corner of a small strip mall on Lake Cook Rd, with plenty of parking right by the entrance and a sign that's not too obvious from the road (most everyone will probably turn in from Lexington though). Service is fairly quick at the moment as they are a new business, and friendly. Food portions and prices are very good -- which makes it very approachable as you're probably going to spend at least 50% more elsewhere for smaller portions. This doesn't really have any effect on ingredient quality as the dishes are full of fresh vegetables and herbs to build the flavor. For me, the cooking feels a bit on the healthier side, building flavors through the ingredients instead of relying purely on sauces. With an item like the Hawaiian fried chicken, much of the flavor came from a mix of green onion, white onion, peppers, and pineapples with just a light sauce to tie everything together with the lightly battered crisp fried chicken. For many diners, something like the Sesame Chicken might be a bit more familiar with a sweet chili sauce that balances sweet and saltiness together with a nice crisp batter, resembling a tempura preparation. Similarly with the shrimp pad thai, the egg, onion, peanuts, and tamarind provided a good base so that the dish didn't feel excessively saucy. The Thai Pepper steak is a little more saucy, though it is served with a good helping of tomatoes, peppers and onions. The Massamun curry has a good level of sweetness from the coconut milk with a light level of spiciness, and peanuts to add a bright earthy contrast to the dish -- a nice beginner curry for someone looking for something flavorful but not overwhelming. The rangoon is crispy and light, and goes well with the sweet chili sauce. The pad see ewe is also a bit on the sweet side, with chewy wide noodles that contrast well with the lightly crunchy small cut broccoli crowns. Overall, a good value oriented option for Thai. The flavors are a little different but still familiar, so feel free to try something a bit different from your standard favorites. read more
