    mini Baby Egg Roll
    Tina T.

I enjoyed the pad see ew dish. I liked the wide noodles tossed with egg, beef and broccoli. I liked the pad see ew dish a bit more than the Lad Nar because of the consistency and texture of the sauce. The Pad See Ew was stir fried in a soy sauce marinade while the Lad Nar was covered in a really thick gravy. The garlic and pepper beef dish was flavorful but a smidge salty and a tad on the tough side to chew. My kids love the Sesame Chicken with the sweet chili sauce. The breading is crispy and crunchy even with the sweet chili glaze covering it. The baby eggrolls were a light delight as an appetizer. This is a great place when you don't have time to meal plan and need dinner quick! The staff was friendly and service was fairly fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is a fairly small space, but I still enjoyed my eating experience there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was pleasantly surprised the tables were nice and clean because I remember the last time they were sticky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chicken Pad Kee Mow and Yum Woon Sen noodle salad.

I have had their food once only and that too as take out by a family member. I liked their food right away on the first try. We ordered a Combination (appetizer) Platter, a salad noodle dish called Yum Woon Sen, Chicken Pad Kee Mow, Curry Fried Rice w/ Chicken, and Khao Soy w/ Chicken. The appetizers included Golden Bags (4), Rice Dumplings (4), Baby Egg Rolls (4) and Pot Stickers (fried)(4). The golden bags and the egg rolls were the best items. The Yum Woon Sen which had shrimp and ground pork, mixed with bean thread, onions, green onions, red onion, cilantro and chef's spicy dressing was very delicious. The Pad Kee Mow was aromatic in its stir-fried char smell and tasted really good in its flavor. Khao Soy is among my most favorite Thai dishes and this one food not disappoint. It's flavor was quite to my liking. The curry fried rice chicken was good as well. We enjoyed our meal as we liked the food a lot. I'll be going back here for more. Next time, I want to try their lunch specials. I definitely recommend checking out this nice restaurant.

I went to Thai Buri for the first time back in December 20, 2024 while looking for Thai food near work. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is clean and simple.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I arrived, they brought out a chicken and cilantro soup with a crab rangoon looking item as a complimentary. These were so tasty! They have great lunch specials. My bf and I tried the chicken pad Thai and pad kee mao with beef. Good portions, great prices. We finished it off with a mango and sweet sticky rice for dessert. I love places that have this dessert. Service was quick and food came out fast. It's a solid and comforting Thai spot in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get their food. I'd go back if I was in the area.

Was craving Thai food today and this did not disappoint. I chose 4 in terms of spicy but definitely could have done 5 as well. This was my first time ordering here so I wasn't sure but the food was fresh and tasted so good on this super cold day. I got the lunch spicy basil fried rice which came with soup and a fried wonton.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute and cozy place for thai food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A no frills place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was nice. The baby egg rolls were cute, but were a little bland. The duck noodle soup was really flavorful and yummy! Very savoury. Solid thai iced tea! A good meal, but won't go out of my way to come here.

Located in a strip center on Lake Cook Rd,Thai Buri serves traditional Thai foods that are bursting with flavor Went on a Monday night with friends. Not very crowded and we sat ourselves. Menus are at the tables. The interior is not much to look at but the food is amazing. The server who I think might be one of the owners was very polite and since my friends don't like spicy foods, she prepared their entrees to their liking. Started with an order of Golden Bags which were filled with crab and shrimp . Not greasy at all and came with a sweet chili red sauce for dipping. I had the Pad See Ewe with chicken. Very flavorful but would have liked more broccoli. My wife who is Gluten Free had the Pad Kee Mao with beef and tomatos, broccoli and basil. Very flavorful. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. They do a lot of take out orders but with such a large menu, will definitely be back to try something else!

When you first walk in the door lit looks very clean and bright. There are a couple pieces of wall art but it lacks personality. This is a nice informal place to dine. I ordered the small Tom Yom Noodle soup with mushrooms instead of meat. It was very temperature hot My husband ordered the Pad Thai with Beef. He loved it and said he would order it again! Our waitress was really sweet and our food came out quickly and kept our ice waters full. So glad we came here and gave this Thai restaurant a try! If your in the area I highly recommend it!

Our favorite Thai spot. We love the papaya salad, it reminds us of Hawaii where we tried it for the first time. Also love the crab rangoon, chicken massaman curry, and chicken pad see ew. Family ran, friendly people and the food never disappoints.

I'll tell ya, I really wanted a new local Thai place and hoped for great things after a good referral. Alas, beware of skinny people making restaurant suggestions, lol. The good: nice size dishes. Multiple levels of spices. Chicken egg rolls were filled nicely. Tom Yum soup was good but not the best I've had. It was fair to good. The not so good: too wide a range on pick up window. Created a no crispy egg roll situation. App doesn't tell you how many pieces of egg rolls so for $8.50 we had twice as many as needed. Soup only comes one way on app, no choice for single size. Pad Thai- sorry but it was almost tasteless. No lime to help add acid. Yuck. Pad see-ewe beef was good but beef was a bit tough. Basil Chicken was the most flavorful dish but not got old fast when I though of how it tasted vs the other two lame dishes. I wish local restaurants the best but ya gotta pick up the flavor and adjust some of the issues on ordering system ( grub hub) via Yelp. I picked up and wonder if I overpaid as grub hub adds cost to the system. Hmm. We are headed back to our old Thai place. Sorry guys.

Simple clean with friendly and helpful service, Thai Buri serves up good food quickly. We met up with our friends who live nearby. We all enjoyed the food and never felt rushed so we were able to visit. I would recommend giving this place a try when in the area. Take out is available and plenty of parking in the lot.

ordered delivery from here and so glad we now have a go-to thai place! i got the pad thai (chicken) and my husband got the pad se-ew (beef) and both were delicious! i got a spicy level of 2 which was perfect for me. there was also a good amount of chicken and the portion size was reasonable as well. excited to try other items in the future!

I order carry out from here from time to time and really enjoy the food. My favorite items are the Tom kha soup and papaya salad and this always hits the spot. I went here recently with some friends and also had the opportunity to try the curry. This was also delicious as well! I highly recommend Thai Buri if you want affordable Thai food that is comforting and delicious.

We were seated promptly in the formal dining room which was nicely decorated. Our semi-circular booth was spacious and comfortable. There were different sections in the restaurant that were more casual, tailored to the different tastes of the clients. Overall, food was delicious and portions were huge. I had a Boston Clam Chowder and a Gulf Grouper as the main. I would usually order a salad, but I didn't this time as each entrée came with a large plate of homemade roasted vegetables and wild rice. The Boston Clam Chowder had real pieces of clams in it. However, it was just lukewarm. My grouper looked great and tasted flavorful, but it was somewhat over-cooked (and therefore not tender), which was unfortunate. My wife had a bowl of Lobster Bisque and an order of Stuffed Flounder that had crabmeat sandwiched in the fish. She absolutely loved her choices. Our daughter had a Charbroiled Walleye and liked it too. Her only disappointment was the garlic bread being hard and dry. Our daughter and I each had a Chardonnay Stags Leap which was good, while my wife had a Virgin Mojito and truly enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the highlight of the night was the slice of tiramisu that our friendly and professional server Greg brought to me! It had a lit candle for my birthday, and Greg teamed up with two other waitresses enthusiastically sang me a happy birthday song! The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and not too sweet. I am not a dessert person but really appreciated this. I have a suggestion for the restaurant: as the portions were so large and each of us brought home half of it, it would have been nice that they make the portion 40% to 50% smaller, and lower the average price of $40 per entrée accordingly. It might help attract more customers. Just my two cents. All in all, I had a lovely birthday dinner at Boston Fish Market. Ambience was good, and service was outstanding. We will certainly return again.

It seemed like the…read moreperfect option for our party of 8 being relatively centrally located and getting lots of recs. Overall, husband and I found Boston Fish Market a letdown. The price to value seemed very imbalanced and this is coming from someone who is quite accustomed to city prices. The menu is huge, IMO too big. It would be great if they trimmed it down to do fewer things flawlessly. This place is great for big groups, the room we were seated in is built for parties of 8+. We started out with the garlic bread on our table and ordered the appetizer platter. The platter was fine, but the addition of guac was odd and it wasn't very good. I ordered the lobster roll and my husband the mahi. They only serve the lobster roll hot, but I generally prefer cold. The bun was a pretzel roll, which I didn't love. They should put the butter on the side, so the whole thing felt dry. They served it with tartar sauce, which was an interesting choice. Husband was unimpressed with his mahi. Service started off strong and then fell off a cliff. Our server was attentive when we needed to order and then absent through pretty much the rest of the meal. We asked a busboy for more water and someone went to find our server to get our check. Basic things like ketchup for fries wasn't even considered. Maybe the Des Plaines location is better, this one didn't live up to the hype or price.

BEST BUTCHER SHOP AROUND -- HANDS DOWN!…read more Dorfler's Meats has been my go-to butcher shop for the past few years, and honestly, I can't imagine shopping anywhere else. From the moment you walk in, the owners and staff treat you like family -- not just customers. It's beyond refreshing to go to a meat shop that truly does it right, from start to finish. The quality is unmatched. I happily travel well out of my way just to stock up on their incredibly fresh meats, top-tier seafood, and the ready-made, home-cooked meals that make weeknights (and weekends) so much better. And let's not forget the deli counter -- WOW. The sandwiches are next-level delicious, and the homemade salads are always fresh, flavorful, and addictive. If you're shopping for the holidays, Dorfler's is an absolute must. Their Prime Tenderloin roasts are unreal -- exceptional quality, fair pricing, and you can truly tell how much care and craftsmanship goes on behind the scenes. It's the kind of place where excellence isn't an accident -- it's the standard. The staff is nothing but helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. From outstanding customer service at the counter to unforgettable meals at my family's table, we have nothing but positive things to say about Dorfler's Meats. Thank you to everyone at Dorfler's for all you do to stay open, keep raising the bar, and continue showcasing exciting, seasonal products that we look forward to all year long. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out -- HIGHLY recommend!

It always felt a little strange that they never had pricing visible. Every other butcher I have ever been to since childhood has always had prices visible. You would go in, order, and pay whatever they charge you at checkout. But the products were good enough and I was happy to support a local business. Over the years we have ordered a beef tenderloin roast during the holiday season when it is on sale for $34.99/lb. It has always been very pricey but (as far as we know) we were never cheated on the price and the product the way we were this year. We ordered one 3lb beef tenderloin roast. We were explicit when placing the order that we wanted one piece of meat that was 3lbs. The person who took the order was rude but seemed to understand the request. When we got the roast home I did the math because the bill was a lot more than expected. We were charged over $41/lb. When I called to ask about why the price was so high I was put on hold and the rude man that picked up next told me "it's trimmed. We charge you for the weight before trimming." This means Dorfler's supposedly trimmed off about 3/4 lb of fat. That is a lot of fat to trim off of a 3lb roast and if I was going to be charged for it why was the fat not offered to me as part of my order? Unfortunately, we accepted this explanation. The roast was wrapped in butcher paper which we did not open because we put it straight in the freezer for a week before defrosting it. We finally opened the butcher paper on New Year's Eve to prepare the roast to have on New Year's Day and were appalled that Dorfler's clearly lied to us. There were 3lbs of meat in two small roast each vacuum sealed in plastic by their distributor. This means that Dorfler's not only WAY overcharged us for the amount of meat we received, they also charged us for 3/4lb of fat they never really trimmed off. I am not even sure why they bothered with the butcher paper at all, except they probably charged us for that, too. If I could give Dorfler's zero stars I would. Also the obvious direct response to this negative review is a pathetic attempt to save face regarding your tenderloin roast "sale." Patricia W. is likely related. Why else would she disagree with facts? Dorfler's is nothing but a lying bunch of cheats who screw their loyal customers every chance they get. Some just haven't figured it out yet. And now they blocked me on Facebook. Keep it up guys. You are proving how crooked you are and how you can't handle the truth being told about your disgusting business of cheating loyal customers.

We ordered a Caesar Salad to share. They brought the salad along with two individual bowls and serving utensils. They also offered to split it for us. Very nice. First issue was with our waitress. She was nice and pleasant. But had very little knowledge of the menu. Didn't know the sauces or add-ons for the steak. She clearly made her own answers up because when we received the food she corrected herself. My wife asked about a chicken dish and she described it very differently including getting the accompanied sides wrong. I ordered a Delmonico Ribeye and it was cooked great. Unfortunately this steak had so much connective tissue or silver skin (not fat) that I couldn't even cut it with their steak knife. It was inedible. The waitress tried convincing me it was fat and this was good. Finally a manager came over and was five-stars. Apologized and asked if he could please get me something else. Even suggested a dish. I agreed and it was good. Since it was a birthday, our waitress brought us a complimentary dessert. She was clearly annoyed with us. Didn't ask if we wanted coffee, or even an after dinner drink (my frequent diners know I love a good Cognac). This place is worthy another visit, but I can see, for the prices, how this could go either way. And that waitress needs to be properly trained (tested on her knowledge of sauces prepped and sides for all dishes).

The restaurant is somewhat newly decorated and had a warm ambience. While the garden salad with blue cheese dressing and the lobster bisque were both a bit bland, the salmon with hollandaise sauce was the best salmon I have ever had. It was fresh and delicious and did not have the "fishy" taste that salmon usually has. The captain's choice with lobster and shrimp was phenomenal. They subbed out the sherry wine sauce with lemon butter sauce per my request. The lobster tail was more than a generous portion. Twice baked potato substitution was small, but fantastic. The custard dessert was fresh and delicious along with a Key lime pie martini. The French martini with the raspberry vodka instead of vanilla was absolutely fantastic too.
