6. Tod Mun Fish Cake

This has been our go-to Thai food place for as long as we could remember. Family owned, but well kept for decades. They have the best pad thai in my opinion, Pad Thai-- not too intense on the sour flavor, it's more sweet tomato-like, but also very nutty but not overpowering. I've had both chicken and tofu, i think I'm more in a tofu phase now. They give generous amount. I also love they they put fresh mung bean sprout for the crunch and refreshing feel. Pad kee mao (Drunken Noodle)-- this is one of our go-to dish anywhere thai. Typically good Thai places make this dish super spicy, so we preemptively requested mild. This was also very flavorful and not too spicy. I like they they leave the tomato in bigger chunks so it doesn't disintegrate. we have had chicken and beef, I think I prefer beef. Chicken typically went well with pad Thai. Lad nar-- we have always gotten beef with this one, and this is one of the few non-spicy ones our kids can eat. We love how well the wide rice noodles taste against the sweet sauce. The rice noodles is cooked slightly crispy so when it is soaked in the sauce it doesn't fall apart. Fish cake-- we have been pretty addicted to the fish cakes here, it's super flavorful, according my daughter it's like sweet and sour (from the dipping sauce which has fresh cucumber cuts) and savory and spicy all in one. Siam siam offers really high quality and good quantity of food. Overall I think it's of really good value. Bonus is that it opens on Sunday which is when many Asian restaurants are closed.

Panang Curry

Place is nice on the inside and super clean. I thought the food was good and the portions were great. Very attentive service without being overbearing. I had the Panang Curry lunch, which ended up coming with a side of soup and a rangoon-like thing. Was very affordable and would come again!

Stopped in for lunch. I had the Drunken Noodle with Chicken. It was outstanding! Plenty of heat to go with an excellent taste and fresh vegetable. The meal comes with hot and sour soup which was fair and a Rangoon which was tasty. I'll be back!

Yum! I ordered a lunch special online and it was ready for pickup when I arrived 5-10 minutes early. The special comes with a large entree (enough for two meals or one massive one), a cup of soup and a appetizer. The chicken pad Thai was delicious, and the soup was very hearty -- it contained lots of crunchy veggies. The appetizer wasn't particularly memorable (as I'm writing this a few days later, I have no idea what it was), but it was a nice addition to the meal. The service was fast and friendly and the food was very reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. Looking forward to trying additional items here!

Nothing here necessarily stands out, but it consistently gets the job done. I stopped by again recently since we had a work event nearby. My coworker and I originally planned to try Urban Melt, but ended up back at Fuji Thai. We both ordered the lunch special ($13.95) from the kitchen & sushi bar, which comes with miso soup or a green salad, 3 pieces of chef-selected sushi, a California roll, and your choice of entree (pad thai, pad see ew, fried rice, chicken satay, chicken teriyaki with rice, or shrimp + vegetable tempura). You can choose chicken or tofu, with beef and shrimp for an extra charge. We both went with miso soup and pad thai. The restaurant wasn't very busy, and the service was attentive. The staff member helping us was kind. The space itself is cozy, though the bathroom was very warm (almost like a sauna). As for the food, it was solid for the price. The pad thai hit the spot for a casual lunch. The nigiri quality wasn't the best, but also fair for what you're paying, given the variety in the combo. Overall, it's a good value lunch spot. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way for, but definitely reliable if you're in the area and want something quick and reasonably priced.

The curry was flavorful, packed with veggies and chicken, and paired so nicely with the fluffy white rice. We also got the pad woon sen, and it had a nice wok hei flavor; the noodles were bouncy and paired well with the hot sauce on the table as well. Lastly, we got the mango sticky rice for dessert, and they give you SO MANY MANGOES. The rice was sweet, and you had enough mangoes to pair it with every single bite of rice. The service was good; they always made sure to check in on us and even brought us extra plates to let us share our dishes. The only con I have is that I asked for potatoes in my curry, but I didn't know it'd be a dollar extra. It's not a big deal, but I'd love to know when I ask. The ambiance was very Thai themed, and they had a lot of awards for their restaurant. It also caught my eye that they won a food bracket tournament with other restaurants I have heard of as well. There's also a large parking lot and lots of seats if you want to dine in. I also noticed a large amount of takeout orders, so you can tell this place is very popular.

We ordered from Thai House Restaurant! I was in the mood for some Tom Yum Veggie Soup and Pad See-Iew. We also ordered Hawaiian Chicken and Fried Rice. For starters we had Mee Krob and Fried Vegetarian Won Ton. The Mee Krob is one of my favorites. The sweet and sour sauce mixed with crispy rice noodles topped with fried tofu is really good. And the fried veggie won ton has a perfectly seasoned tofu stuffed inside. The Tom Yum Veggie Soup had that yummy tang that hit the spot. The veggies still had a nice crunch to them. The Pad-See-Iew was sweet but not too sweet. What I really love are the veggies and the smoked / charred taste to them. It's like the wok has years and years of seasoning embedded in it. So good, The Hawaiian chicken was cooked just right. It was not dry and was very juicy and it was great with the fried rice. I've never eaten inside the restaurant as we tend to order on lazy Sundays. Every time I order take out, from here, the food is ready with the time promised. Papaya Salad: Outstanding--super refreshing with a great crunch. Pad Thai & Pad See Ew: Disappointing protein quality. The original talented mom and pop owners retired and returned to Thailand, and best wishes to them. There is a newer menu and it is slightly more limited and doesn't include a favorite of ours, #51 Tom Leng, as that dish apparently was too much work to prepare. Anyway, we ordered a #22 pork hide sun (fried crispy pork with sticky rice) for $12.95 as well as a #35 pad see eiw with chicken also for $12.95. I would say the value was very good and the quality on the average side. The fried pork had good flavor but the sticky rice was microwaved in saran wrap and was a hard dough ball by the time we got home and a big disappointment. This could have been a very nice dish if the rice were steamed and eaten right there in the food court. The chicken pad see eiw was pretty average in taste and content. I would say overall it's a 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars with relative value being their best aspect. Best wishes and good luck in any event to the new owners!
