Decided to try this place out after climbing, ordered a few for takeout. Pad kee mao mild spicy with tofu-- flavor was pretty good, definitely on the sweeter side but not obnoxious. Basil flavor was a bit lacking in my opinion. They had sweet pepper in it which I'm not sure I've had that in pad kee mao before, but it was not bad. Tofu cuts were just right and not too firm or too soft. Overall very good still. Spring rolls-- they have the softest spring rolls, either not rolled too firmly or everything was just very fresh and soft. Shrimp was very tender. The peanut sweet sour sauce was also on the sweeter side, but also not too overwhelming so it's good. The rice paper was soft but some parts were a bit too chewy, maybe not enough water or sat out for a while? Overall still really good. Chicken satay-- also really good. Meat is tender, but with chicken satay it's still white meat and on the drier side. We steamed it the next day and it got really tender. The peanut sauce was thick and creamy, flavor was really good. The cucumber was fresh and not overly pickled but a bit lite on the flavor to my liking. I liked the addition of red onion in it though. Overall I think the food was good, on the sweeter side, but flavor and everything is not bad. For how much food it is a bit pricy but not too bad also. I would be willing to come back to try a few other dishes!

Tonight we ordered food for pickup. The website was easy to use and we were able to schedule a future pickup. When arriving my husband waited 10 minutes for the food, but that was completely fine. We ordered the veggie potstickers, vegetarian egg rolls, hot and sour soup (add tofu, spicy), veggie pad Thai (medium) and pad see ewe (add tofu, medium). The food was delicious! Everything was still hot when my husband made it home and the portions are large! We have enough for lunch tomorrow too! This place really is a hidden gem that we kept driving past - but finally got a chance to go! We will definitely be back!

A solid choice for Thai food in the burbs. Even the ants love it! There was a tiny ant roaming around on my plate. It gave the food the thumbs up and I gave it a thumb. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. We ordered the chicken with garlic sauce, pad see ew, and the fried catfish. All were really good. Besides the ant, and the constant flying of a hungry gnat, the dining experience was good. I'm not a fan of the sticky rice and mango, but my dining partners in crime enjoyed it. The chicken in my dish was somewhat dry, but I get it... chicken is hard! Pad see ew was solid though. Overall, a good meal. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located in the back, past the kitchen, the bathroom was VERY nice. I think it was nicer than the restaurant dining area itself. Clean, modern, and pleasant, I'd sit on that bad boy any day.

I love Siri Thai II! This place has been our family favorite for 20 years and we will continue to love it! Sometimes we do take out but last week we had a little sit down inside the restaurant. I think the place is very clean and the pictures of kings on the wall and other decor is interesting. I tried a new thing to me, cashew chicken, Spicy level 2 (which didn't feel very spicy, but maybe they could sense my hesitation!) It was very delicious and made fresh, but I will probably go back to my absolute favorite Pad See Ew in the future because I love that so much. Anyway, definitely recommend, it is the best place for Thai food!

This was my second time eating from here (first time dining in) and it was a great experience! The servers are so friendly and attentive, they had me and my pal bursting out laughing. Got the papaya salad, fried tofu appetizer, and panang curry and everything was delish. Lovely ambiance too. Will be coming again for sure ^_^

Wow - I haven't dined here since the pandemic -- it was GREAT to be back! Anyway, I was craving Thai food big time, last Thursday night 1-2-2025, so I ordered almost $200 of it! (The online ordering system worked out quickly and smoothly!) All the food was spectacularly hot, fresh and delicious! My order was also ready on time and accurate! The inside of the restaurant looked cozy, festive and very clean too! (Maybe next time I'll dine in)!

Thai food is probably my favorite cuisine next to my own native Vietnamese food. Their flavors are so distinctive and the scale can range from sweet to sour and they can really turn the notch on spice. They also use a variety of garnishes and vegetables which reminds me of a close resemblance to our Vietnamese cuisines. I caught up with an old friend of 6 years and we tried a new place and it did not disappoint. Everything was so flavorful, foods came out smoking hot (like the escargot appetizer) and spiced just right (such as the Seafood delight which has actual and good proportion of seafood) and I enjoyed everything even down to the sauces that the spring rolls laid upon. My friend also ordered Sesame Noodles (not pictured) but I had a taste and it was good. It was a dish with fine thin noodles and had seafood also. She finished it all and said she liked everything here. We ordered both of our entrees off of the Signature menu. Prices were fair, proportions were good enough to share and the food and service was timely. I also appreciated the nice plates/ China they used and even down to the glasses they had for water. It made the place feel a bit more upscale. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with their authentic decor and menu selections. I was happy with my visit and I will be back. Definitely recommend this spot for any Thai food lovers out there. (Tip: their location was a bit tricky to find so route yourself using Google and not Apple Maps)

    Pad won sen with chicken

Love this place! I'm obsessed with their queen of tofu. Even if you don't like tofu, you'll love this because it's so flavorful. I also get their PadWonSen. It's so hard to find a place with good pad won sen but theirs is delicious.

A solid choice for Thai food in the Northwest Suburbs. This place can be a bit difficult to find right off of Palatine Rd, in the corner of the shopping center without any real visibility to the restaurant until after you've passed the turn. The lot is also not huge, but it's fortunately next to lots of other stores and restaurants in downtown Palatine. Prices are fair, a little more than eating Chinese or Vietnamese, but not too much higher (and with the recent inflation in 2022, the prices are very competitive compared with many other local restaurants). Portion sizes are fairly generous and service is very friendly. The decor is one of the standout features of this restaurant as it's decorated from wall to wall with many different elements and the plates, cups, and silverware suggest a more elevated experience. This is also reflected in the above average level of presentation in their food. The food is enjoyable. Not the most unique or best executed versions of these dishes that I've ever had, but they were consistently good and the flavors are approachable. Here are my thoughts on the items I tried. Sample platter: A nice, cost effective way to try a bunch of their appetizers at once. The egg rolls were crispy with a nice light filling, which matched well with the dipping sauce. The filling made of pork, crab, onion, egg, and vegetables are quite light in flavor without the sauce. I would've liked an extra element of flavor like herbs to add a little more flavor. The crab rangoon was fairly crispy with a light mix of crab meat and cream cheese. The pot stickers had a slightly crispy skin, with a thin wrapping. Once again, a little light on flavor. The crab in the bag was fried nicely with a lightly seasoned mix of crab and shrimp. The presentation is the standout feature of this dish. Finally the shrimp tempura was deep fried like what you'd expect from butterfly fried shrimp (instead of the Japanese preparation). Overall, good way to start a meal with a variety of items. Basil duck: The duck was nicely roasted and served in thin strips with basil, onions, bell peppers, and garlic. The skin had a nice soft, fatty texture to it while the meat was tender. The flavors of the pepper and basil came out fairly strong, and the presentaion was lovely. The sauce and onions helped to tie everything together nicely to make it a nice cold weather dish. Shrimp Pad Thai: A bit different from the preparations I'm used to as the rice noodle, pad thai sauce, and bean sprouts dominated the dish and I didn't get as much egg, crushed peanuts, green onion, cilantro, and lime as I was expecting. With that said, it was still enjoyable with a bit more sweetness than expected but still a solid version. Overall, this is a good choice if you're looking to eat Thai near Palatine with a large, complete menu in a nicely decorated restaurant with above average food presentation.

Opted for takeout from this place and gave the tofu pad see ewe a shot. The vegetables were crisp and vibrant. I'm definitely planning to return and explore other dishes on their menu.

Amazing Thai place. I had no idea that there is such an amazing Thai restaurant within 10 minutes from my house. The server was very friendly, actually she was the owners daughter and was very sweet. Its a family owned restaurant. The recommendations that server gave us turned out to be very good. Pad See Ewe: super yummy and spicy (like we ordered) Hot garlic tofu - it was good too Basil Fried rice - exactly the same as i was craving for. Thai iced tea- little on the sweeter side but Thai Iced tea is always good. The ambiance was so good. Super authentic and everything was from Thailand.

We ordered from Thai House Restaurant! I was in the mood for some Tom Yum Veggie Soup and Pad See-Iew. We also ordered Hawaiian Chicken and Fried Rice. For starters we had Mee Krob and Fried Vegetarian Won Ton. The Mee Krob is one of my favorites. The sweet and sour sauce mixed with crispy rice noodles topped with fried tofu is really good. And the fried veggie won ton has a perfectly seasoned tofu stuffed inside. The Tom Yum Veggie Soup had that yummy tang that hit the spot. The veggies still had a nice crunch to them. The Pad-See-Iew was sweet but not too sweet. What I really love are the veggies and the smoked / charred taste to them. It's like the wok has years and years of seasoning embedded in it. So good, The Hawaiian chicken was cooked just right. It was not dry and was very juicy and it was great with the fried rice. I've never eaten inside the restaurant as we tend to order on lazy Sundays. Every time I order take out, from here, the food is ready with the time promised. If you want really good Thai food, Thai House Restaurant in Palatine is the place to go.

We tried a mix across the menu, and what stood out right away was how many dishes can be made vegan, which makes it a great option for vegetarians or mixed groups. A few must-tries for me: * The Thai wrap -- DIY style and easily one of the more fun dishes on the menu * Red curry * Curry fried rice * Basil dish The papaya salad was also really well done and worth ordering. Portions here are generous -- most mains are easily enough for two people, so it works really well if you're sharing across the table. For the amount of food you're getting, pricing felt very reasonable (around $20-30 per person when sharing), which makes it a strong value spot in the suburbs. It's also on Resy, so if you have an Amex Platinum or Gold card, you can use your dining credit here. Overall, a solid pick if you're looking for flavorful Thai food with good portions and plenty of vegetarian-friendly options in the Arlington Heights area.
