Thai Boran is amazing. Great menu with loads to choose from and affordable prices. They deliver too! We especially love the Money Bags appetizer, Massaman curry, and the green curry fried rice. We will definitely get their food again!! read more

Amazing! I have to come on a weekly basis to get the ribs and shrimp pineapple curry!!! They have great service as well!

Best Thai tea I've had in a while ! Money bags is where it's at and the rice is amazing! Love this place ! Oh and employees are very pleasant and welcoming. read more

I love this place. I think their food is great. It's good every time I good. However, I placed an online order for the Tom yum with chicken. Mind you I live about 20 min away. I get home and there's no chicken in the soup. I'm really upset. Not only because I also tipped but the fact I drove 20 mins for this soup and it has no meat in it when it says on receipt Tom yum with chicken. Additionally I've tried to call and the call either fails or gives a busy line. Im not sure whose fault this is but your hoe for not including my chicken in this! This order was 31 and some change with a mango sticky rice on the ticket. It should have been done right. Now I will admit I could have checked this to make sure it was correct before taking it but seriously why would anyone assume there would be no meat in the soup with there is two different receipts to verify it should have been done. read more

Our favorite Thai in ABQ! I usually hate takeout because it gets soggy and gross, but they package so well that it's just as good as at a restaurant. read more

We have been on a Thai kick lately. We wanted to try a new place to see how it was. We were pleasantly by this place! They had such amazing Thai fried rice! We will definitely by back. The service was amazing and super friendly. This will not be our last time here! read more

First time trying this place. Ordered the spicy basil chicken to go. Was disappointed/shocked the rice was only 2/3 full in the container. Besides the entree also not filling the container, it was very watery. read more

An unassuming small Thai restaurant with incredible great Thai food. We had pumpkin curry with fried tofu and jasmine rice, the pumpkin was perfectly cooked, not too firm and not mushy at all. And the medium spice is fantastic even if it's just a little light to be medium. The pad Thai has a perfect smokiness and great noodles. It was not too loud to have a conversation. Highly recommend. read more

My fave Thai spot in Albuquerque! Pre-pandemic it was a super quaint place to get lunch and dinner. I'm super happy it survived during the state mandates/dining limitations. Now it is super busy, especially during dinner time. The restaurant is full of patrons and take-out delivery drivers. Therefore, staff can be busy assisting those in line and trying to tend to those dining-in. Regardless of the staffing nuances, the food is delicious! I recommend the red curry with chicken and Thai money bags. read more

Great food, my favorite is the curry noodles soup with chicken. I have tried the fried tofu and couple eat that everyday! Good size portions, always taste fresh. read more

Once in a while I get a craving for Thai but don't want to drive too far. This is my go-to restaurant.

Holly Molly! Can't believe how much I ate today. Been so long that I have my own time by myself enjoy dinner and relax with a beautiful city view. Chicken Stuffed to started, and WOW meatballs and beef pho in Thai Style. Spicy and warm up on the cold day. read more

The food here is really great. Never had a bad meal. Pineapple curry and Thai money bags for an appetizer are my go-to's. That said, when they're busy, it is painfully slow service. If more than 2 or 3 tables are full when you come, expect it to take more than an hour. read more

So yummy! I recommend the money bags. The food travels well. Service is always good. We have only eaten this as take out.

I really like the food here, and I'm sad to have to do this, but the Google maps stated they were closing at 9:30pm, we arrived at 8:30pm, and we were told they were only taking to go orders at that time. Nowhere on the website did it state the business did this at this time, otherwise, we would not have wasted our time. I am really saddened to have been turned away, and to have a sour taste in my mouth towards this business. read more

This little restaurant is attached to Flix Brewhouse, so it's perfect to try before a movie. ...or anytime really. It is small, and there is no place to wait inside. No problem! Grab an Asian beer at the bar and step outside. You'll be entertained with killer views of the Sandia Mountains in the distance. Now, I am a Thai food fan, so BELIEVE ME when I say that the Tom Kha Gai is THE BEST I have ever had, ANYWHERE. The pineapple curry with chicken is also next-level. The Pad Thai, well that was just okay. Now honestly, the service is lackluster. ...maybe it is just because they were swamped busy. I'm not sure. But it won't matter, I'm going back as often as my family and friends will let me. ...just for the soup! I always rate based on a price bell-curve. So you get a value-based rating. read more

This was always a favorite before the pandemic so I try to get meals at least once a month. Their food is fantastic delivered as well. Yummy! My only wish is that I could buy their Thai Tea through delivery, but I'm still very happy that I can enjoy their delicious appetizers and entrees. My favorite is Curry Fried Rice and Money Bags. read more

Great flavor. Was very impressed with variety of menu. Service has been excellent as well. I also ordered a Beer and it was served in a glass and was ice cold, love that! My wife and I will be making this a frequent stop! read more

Great food, i would recommend it. Just FYI the wait staff sometimes seem to wait on people based on how they look. If you are dressed nice they are extremely friendly and you get A+ service. If you are dressed in joggers you get Okay service, you might get one refill on your water so drink slowly, if you are young or look young and are dressed in casual clothes. read more

Went for a patio meal when things were open a few months back during Covid. Great friendly service there, and the menu is great! We ordered spring rolls pang curry and pineapple chicken, which were both fantastic! The rice had an awesome charred flavor, chicken was velvety, veggies fresh and spring rolls fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure! read more

We had green curry and red curry vegetarian style with eggplant and And pumpkin. Very delicious and vegan sauces! Also the soup was really good too. If we lived closer we could eat there every day! read more

Thai Boran is excellent!!! Got carry out from there for the first time and we were extremely pleased. Service and knowledge of staff was great. Food was prepared perfect and taste was amazing. We will definitely be going back to try more dishes. Support Local!! read more

Our first time here, we stopped for lunch. A small space but filled with customers. After seating ourselves, the lone waitress greeted us promptly and cheerfully. The hot Jasmine tea was perfect for my stuffy head. I decided on the Thai Sweet and sour with chicken, at a medium to hot heat, with Jasmine rice. All orders are freshly made to ensure the proper heat. It was not a long wait at all for our order. Very impressive considering the number of patrons. My food was hot and flavorful with slight notes of pineapple and lots of fresh, crunchy vegetables. The chicken was a perfect addition as it had no stray fat on it. I would definitely recommend this establishment and I'm sure that we'll be back to try more of the menu. read more

Didn't feel like turkey today so stopped by there on the way home. Got the cashew nut stir fry with chicken and the thai spicy udon...it tasted and smelled like fish. The stir fry...looked liked someone poured water in the container. Got a side of bean sprouts....blanched, soggy and unappealing. Food quality is poor now, not sure what happened. This used to be my go to place on the way home a couple of years ago so thought I would give em another try. Disappointing. There are better Thai joints in the area. Putting this one on my avoid list! read more

So good and authentic Thai food. Try the Thai fried rice or the Traditional egg-wrapped Pad Thai. It can be slow so be prepared. It is a small Mom and Pop operation so it's not unexpected but it is so worth the wait. read more

Very tasty food and great service! Will definitely go back. The Panang curry is great!

Ok we have ordered takeout here 5 times. Love the food up until today. Always on the Westside location phone orders are difficult! Took me 14 try's! Should have given up than. Pad Thai always has been served in an egg crepe. I guess no more. They blamed it on covid but there menu did not reflect change. The taste had changed. Nothing we ordered was like it used to. Will not go back. Sorry. Always want to support local but not here! read more

I ordered tom yum soup, broccoli with oyster sauce, and green curry eggplant. These do have great flavors and perfected in mild level. However, besides protein, the vegetable portion in dishes felt mediocre and underwhelmed. The dish ratio was off. I expected a bit more for $14-$15 dish whereas Asian owned thai restaurants fared better at that price point. Doubt I ll come back unless if it improves. I wish I had a better experience. read more

Fairly new place, finally decided to try it out. Went here once with my husband and it was so good that I came back second time the next day with my sister. Very small place, so probably not good for big groups. Staffs is nice and attentive. Foods come out fast and price is affordable. read more

The table next to ours had a mango salmon dish that looked AMAZING! I plan to return only for that dish! I had lunch with my mother in law and husband- we ordered the crab Rangoon's, flat noodles and glass noodle salad. They were all "fine" but the portions were small and we had to ask for things like chili paste and other seasonings. The waiter must have been new or high because he was pacing around the restaurant but doing nothing productive- when waving him over with our empty water classes, he waved at us then ran to the back room for a few minutes. If I return I will be getting the mango salmon for sure! read more

This is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to! It's so yummy and reasonably priced. Everything I have ever ordered here has been absolutely delicious and flavorful. Thai Boran is the best Thai food in the area. I love the pineapple curry and the pad Thai! The Thai money bags are super cute and taste amazing. This place is at a perfect location (for me) and has a killer view... maybe some patio seating would be a good idea? I've been twice and both times it was slow when we first sat down but by the time I left every table was full! The service was good, extremely friendly waitress but she was alone both times so she was running around like crazy helping everyone. read more

Tried this place on a whim because my boyfriend mentioned Thai food has a lot of vegetarian options. Does not disappoint. The panag curry was divine, tofu cooked perfectly. The pad Thai wrapped in a blanket of deliciousness (egg) was a nice surprise too. Tofu crispy this time, but perfect. Both ways the tofu was cooked were awesome. Had jasmine tea to drink, the Thai iced tea looked good, several people ordered it. Good for families, couples, and solo eaters. They ran out of brown rice before we got there. Service and teamwork were on point. read more

Thai Boran is amazing. I ordered number 33 ( Spicy Fried Rice ). It was not very spicy to me, I got the medium spice level. I also got the Thai money bags as an appetizer and they came out with a plum sauce that was really good. I also got the chicken satay but I thought they were a little dry. My mom got the number 44 ( Curry Noodle Soup ) and she said it was a little too sweet for her and she didn't like it very much. But my dad ate it and he liked it. He got the number 25 ( Red/Green Curry, he got red ) he says that that out of the all three Thai places we have been, Thai Boran's "Thai Hot" is actually hot. He really liked the red curry . My mom was really disappointed there was no soy sauce. read more

This is a great little food spot next to a movie theater, makes it easy for sinmer and a show. The food is delicious, very large portions that will for aure leave you with left overs which is always good. I did feel that the environment was a little cold amd could use a lively bright touch. This is minor and if you are just looking for good Thai food on the west side of town, definitely drop by for a filling meal. read more

Very good food. They still have some glitches to work out but it was good. Appetizer came out after the meal and they ran out of Thai Iced Tea. Odd! The spicy level is quite accurate. Medium had my nose running! Overall it was a good experience. read more

I'm giving them five stars because the upped the ante on the menu and are now offering gluten free options. When they first opened I could only eat rice and steamed vegetables while my family indulged on everything else. No longer. I've eaten there three times since we figured out they add the options. Their curries and soups are delicious. And depending on where you sit, you can see the real deal family members in the back working really hard putting the wonderful meals together. I love their brown rice which actually comes out looking more purple and has a nutty delicious taste. I encourage anyone to pick that for their meals if they're feeling adventurous. read more
