With all of the rave reviews and yummy looking pictures of the food, I had to try this place. This is the third Thai restaurant I've tried since moving to Oregon. My staple dish is Thai Fried Rice, and if I'm honest, I don't deviate from that often--that's what I almost always order. To be honest, I was a little let-down with my fried rice here. I'll start with the good. I absolutely loved the obvious freshness of the veggies and chicken in my thai fried rice. There was absolutely a clear distinction in level of freshness at this restaurant vs. the other Thai restaurants I've tried here. I also really loved the spice level of the food. The spice was spot-on, perfect for me. Where the dish fell short was flavor (depth of flavor and spices used). This fried rice dish was probably the blandest Thai fried rice dish I've ever had (save for the red chili flakes). There is usually a distinct kinda-sweet/kinda-savory/kinda-garlicky flavor that was just totally missing. It just tasted like plain rice sprinkled with hot chili peppers mixed with perfectly sautéed, perfectly fresh chicken and veggies. It's not that the fried rice dish wasn't good, but it wasn't my idea of what Thai fried rice tastes like based on the copious amounts of it I've eaten across various cities and states. If I could rate the reception greeting of the hostess, I would rate a 0. If I could rate the wonderful wait staff, I would rate a 5 star. Shocked when our party of four (who made a reservation earlier in the day) was greeting by the hostess immediately questioning our reservation in a very abrasive, negative tone. She made it sound like there would not be a table available if we made our reservation after 4pm. She said she could not find our reservation and was not accomodating to help reassure us she could find us a table. It was such an awful exchange in the vesibule with other customers watching. I calmly pulled up our dinner reservation confirmation and explained that we booked our reservation through her system at 2:35pm. The negative greeting set the tone for what we thought would be our night out with our friends. If you want to promote a good feeling about your business, take the time to be considerate and hospitable the minute a paying customer walks in. Went here when they first opened enjoyed it then. But recently placed an order Togo after many years and was really disappointed. Ordered the pineapple fried rice and the rad nah. The rad nah gravy was bland no spice even after asking for spicy. As for the pineapple fried rice it was more of turmeric rice with chili flakes on top. There was no egg, not enough raisins or pineapple. I asked got shrimp to it but there was only 1 piece. For fried rice it was not a fried rice. Very disappointing. I had some Thai Bloom and I wasn't too impressed. I ordered the swimming Rama thinking it was going to be similar to the others I have had. You know spinach, chicken, peanut sauce and veggies. I just had the worst experience here. It's a real shame because I'm a regular, but the incident I had today with the host, Andy, left a terrible taste in my mouth. Upon arriving, I had let the host know that I am looking for a table for 7 and that my party will be here soon. I mentioned that I will wait for them, but the host was adamant to seat me there and then. Another worker who was there said, "I think they can find where you are." My party was walking up towards the restaurant, but the host was aggressive and said, "I will give your table away if someone comes before you." It made little sense to me why they could not wait a minute for my party to reach the door. It was extremely rude, and it only got worse when the host, Andy, rolled his eyes at me and walked away, shaking his head. Luckily, the waitress was nice and helpful. I have recommended this restaurant to many of my friends, but I don't think I will be supporting a business who is very disrespectful to their patrons any longer. read more

First of all, the service was amazing, right from entering through the doors. I came with my wife and 4 kids (all under 4). They provided the high chair and grabbed drinks for all kids. The food was amazing and delicious. We got 4 orders of chicken potstickers, 1 order of fried calamari, drunken noodles, and spicy chicken with basil.
