Yum!! Ordered take out and I'm totally satisfied. I got the Tom yum gong soup & shrimp pad Thai. I asked for the pad Thai extra spicy and it did have a little kick. It was very flavorful and filled with lots of shrimp! I wish the Tom yum gong was more spicy but next time I will ask for extra spice and see how it is :) this has come the closest tasting to my all time favorite spot Lemonleaf in port Jeff! I ordered $55 worth of Thai food but was very disappointed. The Green Curry chicken was too thick. The Basil Duck entree was drenched in a sweet and sour sauce. The duck was shredded so much that it looked like beef and it was packed with green bell peppers and onions. We also ordered basil shrimp that looked exactly like the duck entree except with 6 large shrimps. Everything came with small jasmine rice. This is our first and last order unfortunately. read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant, hands down. The food portions are enormous, the quality is always fresh, and delivery time has always been reasonable. The coconut pineapple fried rice was just the right amount of sweet and the pineapple chunks were juicy. I asked for the pad Thai to be made not spicy, and it was still super flavorful. My boyfriend enjoyed his beef satay and peanut chicken, but was underwhelmed by the pork and vegetable dumplings. The entire delivery process is quick and their food is great! Last time we ordered from Thai Basil, our food arrived still super hot and overflowing as a result of the large quantity we were served. Our order consisted of spicy chicken pad Thai, stir fried shrimp and some others deliciousness, totally worth every cent. I've had good and bad experiences when ordering Thai but this one was amazing and exceeded my expectations! The chicken pad thai is perfect: I get it medium spicy which is just enough to put that heat in your mouth, but not too much that your face feels like static tv. The coconut soup is spicy and my favorite. Something I will get a lot in the winter to warm up. The little egg rolls are crispy and good. After we got our food we didn't hear from anyone until we got our check. I think the waitress was sick. Anyway, the food was fresh, and my request for "Thai hot" level of spice was pretty close to what I'd expect, but the Pad Thai was kind of forgettable. Not much flavor. 6/10. The green curry however, was full of fresh vegetables, and had awesome flavor and heat.
