Chicken 9. Pho Chicken
Emma O.

This is the worst Thai / Vietnamese food I've probably ever had! I got the rice soup and the chicken pho.... I don't know what they use for their meats but the chicken and the beef were very questionable. Very rubber like and not meat like at all. The rice noodles were not very good either. Broth wasn't bad. I was really excited because they labeled their pad Thai as gluten free and have dietary labels on their menu.... This was a big bummer. At least the herb garnishes were fresh.

Pad Se-lew Dinner (Beef)

I order via DoorDash so I'm not sure about what this location looks like, parking, etc. However, my food was ready pretty quickly on a Friday night - prime time to order dinner. I ordered the Pad See Lew with Beef and the Asian Chili hot wings. It was a lot of food! The pad see lew had lots of sauce and beef. The noodles were al dente style cooked but good. The chicken wings were cooked well - crispy outside with juicy inside - however, they were not spicy or had much taste. There was siracha and hoisin container (like what you'd put in pho as dipping sauce but I did not use it.

Panang Curry Dinner

I read mixed yelp reviews before heading to this restaurant. I gathered info on the best and worst dishes. So, I sadly didn't order pad Thai, but I did order pangang curry from other's recommendations. It. Was. Wonderful. The spice level was mild-medium and it was just enough heat to give that slow burn between bites. Of course curry is always in huge portions so I ate it the next day and it was even better. 5/5 for this dish. Next, we had the orange chicken. I saw 0 reviews for it but we decided on something sweet to offset the spicy, savory curry. The chicken seemed of good quality and it was perfectly crispy. Every piece had a crunch coated in that sweet orange glaze. It was perfectly cooked and we were pleasantly surprised. The broccoli was perfectly cooked but a little cold when we got it, 4/5 for this dish. The service was prompt, drinks were filled immediately, and the waitress even turned the tv off behind me when I asked to turn it down some so we could not talk over it - which I thought was a kind gesture. Inside it's a pretty clean and basic restaurant. Perfect for a hang with friends or a quick lunch.

Chicken Coconut Soup

Got the chicken coconut soup on a cozy fall day. I love a good broth and it really hit the spot :)

Quick service and friendly staff. The beef had a weird taste to it though. Very chewy consistency and just not the best. The combination noodle bowl was good, shrimp flavor was in point! Pho was good too.

Yummy pho on a rainy day while my husband had eye surgery nearby. The service was quick and the pho was perfect!

The service is lovely, I'm not a fan of the food. Too fast food American style for my taste. My husband loves it.

Ma's…read morekitchen next door has a seating format that's a bit more family/group gathering friendly than Ma's kitchen dim sum & bar. Service is always friendly and prompt, and you can order off of both menus regardless of which restaurant you're in. Some of our favorites include the clay pot eggplant, the XO sauce green beans, the Sichuan boiled fish and the black pepper short ribs. Don't sleep on their dim sum offerings, and we also love their soup dumplings (truly some of the best I've had in Denver/Aurora), their pan fried steamed bun and their chili oil dumplings. Whenever we go, it's always a dilemma of not over-ordering, but that's a very small problem to have. Def worth checking out! Their takeout is also very well-packaged and comes in an insulated bag.

The food wasn't bad, but there are more flavorful dumplings elsewhere in the city. The pepper beef was okay, but came with the smallest serving of rice I've ever gotten from a takeaway. The scallion pancakes are perfectly crispy, but would benefit from a dipping sauce. We also got coconut buns and the coconut rice pudding. I loved that the latter looks like a little bunny! So cute. It wasn't for us though. It mainly tasted of coconut and cream. A bit bland. We also weren't fans of the coconut buns. Maybe they're better hot?

Crispy on outside, but mushy paste inside. Curry Chicken: the dish was grey in color, and the chicken was unidentifiable pieces of limp meat. The curry sauce had a slimy texture. It was so gross we did not eat it. Pad Thai: only edible thing from the order, but was still terrible. The tofu was extremely dry, spongy and old. The noodles were not cooked correctly and were hard and mealy, The dish was sour. Will never go back.

They do deliver with a minimum order of $15 & within a three mile radius. Note : they're closed on Mondays. We ordered from the Lunch Special Menu (11am-3pm, not valid on Sundays & Holidays). The portions were big... we had leftovers! Three of us shared two entrees which included Egg Fried Rice & Crab Cheese Wontons. Plus we ordered a side of Lo Mein Noodles. The Sesame Chicken was wonderful, very juicy! The chicken was crispy even with the sauce on top & the sauce was delicious. The Beef Teriyaki was good as well. Although, I would have liked a little more of the teriyaki flavor. In both dishes they added a few vegetables- broccoli with the chicken & baby corn & carrots with the beef. The Lo Mein & rice were tasty too. My favorite part of lunch were the wontons. Adding the crab really made them yummy. This is a great place to go & very reasonably priced!

The chicken soup dumplings, pork potstickers, and the ice cream was all very good! I wasn't such a huge fan of the tufu pork belly noodles. I would like to come back here and try more items from their regular menu.

Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.

Uncle makes me want to move to Denver! To start the ambiance is really chill and inviting with warm lighting and offers countertop as well as table seating. Our server was amazing and explained the menu well and made some recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered way to much food but I do not regret that because I got to try so many amazing dishes. Despite ordering so many options they even brought us a chilled tofu dish complimentary (no clue why but not complaining) and it was lovely! We shared the uncle salad (amazing!), thai shrimp, eggplant buns, several different nigiri/aburi nigiri and sashimi and the toro toro and spicy tuna roll. All of the sushi was fresh and had excellent pairing of accompaniments. The only dish that I remember being a miss was the soft shell crab buns. The proportion of bun to interior was off and there was way too much mayo. Everyone got their own ramen which they seemed to love. I ordered the Veggie Khao Soi per our servers recommendation and I am still thinking about it weeks later. It was a curry/ramen mix and had big chunks of trumpet mushrooms in it and the perfect amount of spice that I love.
