I returned and Thea showed up this time . Thank you to Mark the manager for making sure we were treated right to celebrate our parties big moment this is what I was expecting the first time I came in and they didn't disappoint. We had two different dips, the calamari , 2 drinks and the branzino. The food here is always good everything is so yummy but what excelled this time around was the service . Our server ( can't remember his name but had face tattoos ) he checked in on us, made sure we were ok but wasn't over bearing , he was so great and friendly . The ambience was nice we went at 6pm on a Friday and it def was very busy so def get a reservation but the lighting and view is very nice . At first I wasn't Impressed but now Thea showed me the kind of experience they are capable of thank you to all the staff and management 10/10

I finally made it to Thea and it did not disappoint. The views are absolutely gorgeous with camelback mountain as the backdrop. We enjoyed the calamari, salmon and shrimp dish. Our server Ryan was very sweet and did a great job. Great food, atmosphere and people watching. Make a reservation.

If you're in Phoenix around the Global Ambassador hotel, you absolutely have to come to this restaurant. The views are amazing. The food is amazing. The servers are kind and very attentive, friendly and amendable to your needs. While this is Phoenix, it can get very hot if you sit on the outdoor patio, they have misters to keep you cool. I recommend going at sunset to see the sun set over Camelback Mountain. You have to have the whip Ricardo as your appetizer.

My husband and I were pretty late for our reservation due to traffic. The hostess was gracious and still gave us a table, but did warn us we would only have a limited time for the table. We ended up getting more time than originally allotted and for that we were grateful. The views from here are really nice and the food was amazing. The service was really good. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend.

This place is big and busy, but they delivered on all levels. Energetic atmosphere. Service on point. Started out with the whipped ricotta and zucchini chips. The Branzino was fantastic. Nice portion and very tasty sauce. Spouse had the chicken skewer which she greatly enjoyed. Finished off with the lemon oil cake. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other things.

Last minute decision to go to Global Ambassador and so glad we did! I had only been once before during a calm weekday happy hour so this was a completely different vibe. This time it was packed with security at the door and a full reservation line. We didn't have a reservation but were able to grab a high top by the indoor bar. Layla was our waitress and she was fantastic and very attentive even with how busy it was. We were there from about 9 to 1130 and it definitely felt like the place to be. The food and service were both great despite how crowded it was. Highly recommend the spicy tuna roll, beef dumplings, and chicken kebab. The rice with the kebab was especially flavorful. Would definitely come back!

Visiting the area, I wanted to check out Théa. Highly suggest! Located on the 6th floor of the Global Ambassador hotel. Went at noon, right when they opened. Still had to wait like 10 mins. Ordered the Whipped Ricotta and Chicken Souvlaki Skewer. It was the perfect amount. Even with just one skewer. Service was great, everyone was friendly. Plenty of seats, and the views were spectacular. I'm sure sunset would be spectacular. Definitely suggest and will be back!

Chasing sunsets at Thea! We had a lovely time at Thea. The Global Ambassador Hotel is definitely a hot spot in the Biltmore area. Make sure you book reservations prior to secure a table. They will validate parking if you park at The Bergen across the street. However, that garage is packed, so we ended up paying $10 to valet. You can pay the valet with card or Venmo, which is extremely convenient. The views from the rooftop are absolutely stunning. You have a panoramic view of Camelback Mountain and other mountains around the valley. If you sit on the patio, expect heavy traffic. There will be hotel guest walking back and forth from the rooftop hotel bar. So the drinks & food are pricey, but the food was DELICIOUS! I was impressed with the turkish meatballs & shrimp scorpio. Everything was packed with flavor. We also enjoyed the calamari & brussel sprouts. The atmosphere was gorgeous, and I would recommend checking out Thea at least once while you're in Arizona!

I wish I could give Théa unlimited stars I came to the global ambassador as multiple friends from my hometown recommended it as they stated it had GORGEOUS sunset views and views of Camelback mountain. They weren't wrong! I witnessed a colorful, majestic and unforgettable sunset around 18:30 on a Monday evening. My waiter Gavin was FABULOUS!!!!! He was so attentive, kind, compassionate and made me feel welcomed to the restaurant. I ordered the tuna crispy rice and hummus along with a skinny margarita. The tuna crispy rice was delicious. So fresh and tasty. I got it with a side of spicy mayo as well. The hummus tasted extremely fresh and the chick pea addition was just perfect. The margarita had a hint of orange which gave it a wonderful citrus and refreshing vibe. Overall, I highly recommend Théa if you're visiting or even if you live in Arizona. It was such a great spot for a date night or a night out with some friends or family. 1000000/10!

Wonderful experience. A couple of friends and I tried Thea last Friday. We were seated quickly at a table facing Camelback mountain. The lighting and views were amazing. The drinks were tasty. The three of us all ordered the flaming cheese, flavor was great. I also ordered the skirt steak and flourless chocolate cake. All were flawless, everyone in our party was impressed.

Okay but let's talk about this place because whew From the moment we walked in, it was giving main character energy. A beautiful rooftop restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine? Say less. The scenery alone had me in love -- open air, gorgeous views, perfect weather... it was a whole vibe. Now let's get into the food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned just right. You can taste the quality. Every dish came out looking like it belonged in a magazine spread but still delivered on flavor. And the drinks? Strong. Not "where's the alcohol?" strong -- I mean strong strong. The bartender understood the assignment. The service was immaculate. Attentive, friendly, and on point without being overbearing. They made the experience feel elevated but still comfortable. Honestly, this spot checks every box: Date night Birthday dinner Girls' night out "I just want to feel cute and be outside" night Great vibes, great aesthetics, great energy all around. I'll definitely be back -- rooftop season just got real.

Was visiting and this place was highly recommended. Below is what we got + what I thought! Espresso martini: best I had in a while. Loved the vanilla notes. Spanakopita: pretty standard Hummus: very flavorful Whipped ricotta: a must get Pita: not my favorite compared to other places Crispy tuna: loved the textures Grilled platter: lamb was a bit tough, but the rest was great Crispy potatoes: pretty standard so cannot go wrong Grilled octopus was not for me but it may be for you! Texture was not my favorite but the flavor is good. Overall, was a good experience and beautiful setting.

Beautiful venue on the rooftop of the Global Ambassador hotel. Very nice ambience. The only issue is if you're sitting outside on a cold windy day like we were. The heaters were not enough and people were wearing their coats. They do have some throws which helped a little. Service was great. The food was delicious for the most part. Very tasty and flavorful. We tried a lot of different dishes- muhammara, spicy tuna and crispy rice (very good), yellowtail and avocado (excellent!), Mediterranean olives, crispy falafel for appetizers. For dinner- open face lamb pita (which is basically a gyro sandwich but smaller x 2 pieces), roasted branzino (in a Mediterranean style sauce- sooo good). However, the mixed grill was really disappointing. The price is high and definitely not worth the money, you get a few small pieces of meet and some pita. I can't believe we paid $85 for that. Would skip that one. Overall a nice dinner. Would visit again.

Do they take walk ins? how long is the wait on saturdays?

They do take walk-ins. On a normal Saturday you would have a wait. But as the weather gets warmer and it becomes the season, the weight time will get significantly shorter.

    Are children allowed?

    Yes

What happens if you have an outdoor reservation, but it's raining?

They text you to inform you you can move to indoor if available. I used the reservation app to switch to indoors to secure a table.

If we came in for an early dinner and drinks after a hike would we be out of place?

Yes, I think that may be too casual.

    Is there complimentary valet parking?

No, it's $10. Just at their earlier this week and that was the price.

Are you allowed to bring in outside cakes and will they help bring out the cake during dessert time?

    yes

Do you need a reservation to get a drink at the bar?

No and they have two bars to hang out at, inside and outside.

    What is the dress code?

The dress code at thea is technically smart casual at minumum, but most people you'll see anywhere in The Global Ambassador Hotel (where thea is located) are dressed up a bit more than that. Kind of a place to see and be seen... but there's… Read more

It seems next to impossible to hit all the marks of good vibe, good service and great food; and Pyro has it all. The restaurant is right by Global Ambassador, so parking is in the structure, and can get very busy every night, so be prepared for that. The restaurant had a lovely, dark, alluring vibe inside. We did choose to sit outside, as there was a nice big patio and the weather was beautiful. The chairs had a gorgeous deep curve, that wrapped the arms around you and were tailored in a gorgeous floral. Our incredible server, Ren, greeted us at our table and her energy was immediately infectious! We knew we were going to have a great time. You could tell she loved her job and loved this restaurant. She walked us through the menu and gave us many recommendations on drinks and food. We all listened to her drink options , all getting something different, and they were all fantastic. The matcha espresso and Louis' Martini were my favorites. We ordered the steak tartare, gyoza, short rib skewers, spicy salmon handrolls (we were able to make it 3), and scallops with risotto. Everything was truly incredible. The steak tartare was all of our favorites, and the hand rolls and gyoza , close second. Only thing I'd do differently, is try the chicken thigh skewers over the short rib. I imagine you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. With our whole evening being absolutely perfect, and still talking about it 2 weeks later, we can't wait to go back! We will definitely be asking for Ren as our server ! And reordering some of our favorites and trying some new things I had my eye on. So happy to know a restaurant still has passion and takes pride in a true dining experience.
