The only downside was the music. We went on a Saturday, and while we did enjoy the selection, the volume was way too loud for the setting. It made it difficult to have a conversation with the person next to you or even hear the waitress clearly. We celebrated my birthday dinner at Vanderpump's Wolf with a group of friends, such a fun night! It was our whole group's first time visiting. We arrived about 45 minutes early to grab a drink at the hotel rooftop bar. They had a live band and the views of Camelback were stunning. We were there just before sunset, and the sky turned the prettiest shades of pink, such a perfect start to the evening. When we headed down for our reservation, we were seated right away. The decor immediately stood out. Antler chandeliers mixed with furs and crystals, oversized chairs, and wolf statues created this unique blend of elegance and rustic charm. The whole space feels like a rustic bougie dream. The bar itself is incredibly long and cool. Our group sat at a great round table with a mix of booth seating and chairs, which made it feel social and comfortable. We staged with cocktails, and they were just as fun as they were delicious. The Pumped Up Kicks espresso martini came with a wolf chocolate and a donut hole. The Petter Rabbit garden margarita was another standout, complete with the tiniest carrot I have ever seen, so cute! For appetizers, we ordered the lump crab and corn hush puppies, the famous goat cheese balls, and the tuna tartare tostadas. Everything was excellent, but the tuna tartare tostadas were my favorite. They were incredibly fresh and the poke sauce really good. The goat cheese balls and hush puppies were such a hit with the group that we ended up ordering another round of each for the table. For my entrée, I had the butter seared Chilean seabass, which was cooked perfectly. It came with cherry tomatoes, lemon, olives, and capers, along with light vegetables and potatoes that balanced the dish really well. Others at the table ordered the brisket and tri tip bolognese, the 6oz prime filet mignon with roasted red onion petals and potatoes Anna, and the tricolore risotto. Everyone enjoyed their meals overall, although the risotto was surprisingly very spicy, which caught us off guard. We also added a side of truffle fries, which were definitely worth it. For dessert, we shared the house made chocolate brownie, a perfect sweet ending to the meal. They brought it with a candle to sing Happy Birthday. The service was great throughout the night, and we never felt rushed, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. I really wanted to love WOLF by Vanderpump, but unfortunately it fell short--especially for the price point. When you're spending this kind of money on a meal, you expect near perfection, and this just wasn't it. The goat cheese balls were okay, but definitely not worthy of being called "famous." The drinks, I will say, were the highlight--beautiful presentation and genuinely delicious. But that's where the excitement ended. The food itself was underwhelming. The chicken was completely smothered in sauce, to the point where you couldn't really enjoy the dish. The truffle fries had no truffle flavor at all, which was disappointing. The Chilean sea bass tasted good, not great, but the presentation was honestly pretty unappealing. And the stone fruit cobbler? Completely lacking in flavor. Our bill, with tip, came out to over $500, for 4 people which made the experience even harder to justify. For that price, I expect an exceptional meal from start to finish--and Scottsdale has plenty of places that deliver exactly that. Honestly, I've had far better meals for much less. I took two of my girlfriends who were visiting from out of town to Wolf by Vanderpump back in January. They're both fans of the Vanderpump shows so they were excited to check it out. We arrived around 5 pm on a Saturday. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to grab a few seats at the bar. Wolf by Vanderpump is on the 7th floor of Caesars Republic Scottsdale which offers stunning views of Camelback Mountain. The ambiance is sexy and upscale. The bartenders were friendly and greeted us as soon as got to the bar. We ordered the following: Salted caramel espresso martini $21 Pumptini $20 The famous goat cheese balls $17 Caviar and chips $45 Signature wolf bread $16 The drinks were fun and tasty. The salted caramel espresso martini was definitely more of a dessert, which I enjoyed. The goat cheese balls, caviar and chips, and wolf bread were all delicious. I was fully prepared to be disappointed in all of the food after reading the reviews but I ended up being pleasantly surprised! We had to get the famous goat cheese balls with hatch chile and hot honey of course. These were pretty good! Not sure what makes them famous but I liked the creamy mix of goat cheese with the spicy hot honey. We paired these with the tuna tartare tostadas which were so unexpectedly delicious and fresh for being in Scottsdale! Would absolutely get these again. We also shared the Caesar salad. This was good but I didn't love the whole anchovies. Service was excellent. We let the waitress know we were in a bit of a hurry and she got us our food, drinks, and the bill in under 40 minutes. Amazing! Honestly, it was pretty expensive so I can see being underwhelmed if you got some of the mains but I think it's a great spot for happy hour or just drinks and light bites. This place is an absolutely incredible experience! The restaurants is within Caesars, and the decor, design, and ambiance to this place is extremely unique, elegant, and enjoyable. Staff here seems to be very knowledgeable about the menu, very friendly and helpful in providing menu suggestions when guests are unsure of what to order, and they take wonderful care of their guests. We were frequently checked on, water and drink refills were never too long, and they did a wonderful job of helping to celebrate my wife's birthday. For an appetizer we ordered their bread service. The bread came with two different flavored butters that could be enjoyed, both of which were fantastic. It also had some crispy, melted cheese that added a great crunch and flavor above and beyond what would've been expected. For dinner, I had their Wolf Burger, which came with 8oz of wagyu beef (2 patties), onions, and their delicious house aioli. Easily one of the better burgers I've had in recent years in the Old Town Scottsdale area. I heard about the goat cheese balls for years on Vanderpump Rules. I made all of our dinner reservations a month or so before our trip. While looking at different restaurants, I discovered I was going to be in a city where Lisa Vanderpump had a restaurant and I could get goat cheese balls! Clearly we had to go there! The restaurant is on the seventh floor of the Caesars Republic Hilton Hotel in Scottsdale. We had a reservation and were greeted at the hostess stand right at the entrance to the restaurant. We were seated in a cozy corner and it was nice because there was so much to look at! I would have taken more photos but didn't want to disturb other diners. The whole place is a vibe - there's something to look at everywhere. Our fabulous server, Coco, came over and introduced herself. We asked if she would take a photo of us before we got started (it was Easter - we ended a pic) and she was happy to do so. She took us outside and took it with the sun setting in the back. Loved it! Highly recommend making a reservation, especially if you want to go for dinner. My friend and I had a reservation for 5:30pm on a Sunday. We arrived early, so they told us we could go to the bar or go upstairs to the Camelback Veranda for a drink on the rooftop. After having watched 11 seasons of Vanderpump Rules, I can say that the detailed, over-the-top decor was absolutely what you'd expect from a Lisa Vanderpump business. It had a darker, more mysterious vibe with lots of wolf sculptures and pictures. Some of the chairs looked like thrones. The entire restaurant had a great view of the mountains. They even opened some of the windows as the sun was setting - such a great photo op! I really wanted to try the popular Pump-tini, but I was driving us. Maybe next time. We did get the famous goat cheese balls that Stassi was so obsessed with in the show. Honestly, it did not meet the hype for me - it was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them. Another beautiful restaurant concept by the Lisa Vanderpump. This is her first restaurant in Arizona and the vibes totally match her normal aesthetic. It's a bit hard to find within the Caesars Republic, you have to go past the desk & to the elevators and down a hallway. Once there. i was in love with the natural sunlight & gorgeous views. The menu features various small plates like the famous goat cheese balls & larger plates. I opted for sharing a few of apps paired with some Vanderpump rosé. I didn't like the bread as much as I thought I would, the black lava butter was far too salty & it tasted a bit over cooked. The tuna tostadas were my favorite, very tasty. Went here for my birthday dinner and it met and exceeded all my expectations. We were sat in a gorgeous corner booth and welcomed with a welcome shot. I asked about it and was told that the bar tables are considered the dining room. I don't like that at all. They offered a tiny and extremely cramped table in the dining room if we wanted to switch, but it was actually worse than sitting in the bar area so we stayed in the bar area. 2. Very loud making it hard to hear the conversation. I love good music and don't mind loud, but this combined with all the other guests wasn't conducive to being able to hear what my date was saying. 3. There was no available parking when I arrived at 8:30pm so I had to use the fashion square parking lot and walk over. We were a party of 9, and were seated on the patio which was the pool area furniture that wasn't comparable to the seating and decorations in the establishment, which was disappointing. Attention Vanderpump Fans! We were so excited to try Wolf in Scottsdale located on the 7th floor of Caesars Republic Scottsdale for my 52nd birthday and Easter weekend. We made reservations ahead of time for an early dinner on this perfect April Arizona day and passed hotel guests lounging at the pool area attached to the restaurant. Service was really great here and I was treated extra special as bday girl and offered either complimentary birthday shots for the table or a birthday dessert to share (if I chose to). I really enjoyed the exquisite decor of neutrals, metallics, bling, fur covered textiles, & wild predatory beasts! Let's not forget portraits of Giggy and of Lisa displayed throughout. I visited Wolf this past Saturday, Valentine's Day, for a late lunch at 2:45 PM. The only other reservation I saw was for 10 PM, which surprised me since the restaurant was not very busy when we arrived. We made it just on time for our reservation and were told our table was "on hold for 15 minutes," which ended up meaning a brief wait. We were seated around 3 PM. We started with the signature Wolf bread, which was slightly warm, though I would have preferred it hotter. I loved the hot honey butter, although it was more sweet than spicy for me. The whipped lava salt butter was good, with a light, fluffy texture and black salt sprinkled on top. Despite the dark, crusty-looking exterior, the bread was soft inside. I would definitely order this again. Next, we tried the goat cheese balls. I enjoy lemony flavors, and these were very lemon-forward, perhaps a bit too much for me after a few bites. Some extra sauce would have been helpful to balance the flavor. The slaw was fresh, though it lacked the sweetness I expected from pear. I probably would not order this again. The hostesses were friendly and walked us to our table. We were sat on the far end of the restaurant so we had a nice view of the various seating areas and decor. Very romantic. Right next to our table, I noticed they have an area for small parties so larger groups can be seated in that area. I didn't catch our servers name but she was prompt, professional and very friendly. She took our orders and cocktails were delivered quickly in beautiful glassware. Drinks were delicious and spot on. For starters we ordered the FAMOUS GOAT CHEESE BALLS. Golden Shallot Fried Chèvre, Hatch Chile Hot Honey, Napa Cabbage & Pear Slaw. These were flavorful and tasty. SIGNATURE WOLF BREAD. House Baked Herb & Gruyère Pull Apart Bread, Hot Honey Butter, Whipped Lava Salt Butter. These bread came out hot and the butter was delicious. I don't eat bread very often. This was definitely a treat. CHIPS & DIPS. Charred Elote Dip, Pink Beet Hummus, Market Vegetables, Handcut Potato Chips. Don't let the description fool you. There is a lot to this appetizer tower. The charred elote dip was very good. For entrees, the four of us split the BUTTER SEARED CHILEAN SEA-BASS. Sauce Vierge with Capers, Lemon Butter, Baby Cherry Tomato, Black Olives, Potatoes Anna, Seasonal Vegetables. And the 6oz PRIME FILET MIGNON Cognac Butter, Parsnip Purée, Seasonal Vegetables, Cabernet Demi Glace, Roasted Red Onion Petals, Potatoes Anna. Both entries were delicious. I've been dying to go to a LVP restaurant since Stassi and Jax were a thing. When I had to go to Scottsdale for work, my friends surprised me with a (belated) birthday lunch at Wolf, and walking in, I was completely blow away. The woman knows how to create *a vibe* and the ambiance is stunning. It wasn't at all crowded on a Sunday afternoon just before 2, and we were expecting a lot. Thinking back on the experience, I'm reminded of the scene from 10 Thing I Hate About You when Chastity says, "You can be overwhelmed or underwhelmed, but can you ever be just whelmed?" At first, I was over, then I was jut whelmed, and very quickly I was underwhelmed. I ordered an Everything But The Bagel martini which somehow took like 20 minutes to make after everyone else got their drinks. I guess I was expecting something great? It was just the seasoning in my regular martini. My friend's cocktail was smoked and came out with the smoke dome, and that's always a really fun thing to see, but it was all show, no flavor. We got the famous goat cheese balls, and they were so bland and boring I cannot understand how they are famous. They were lukewarm and there was nothing but goat cheese in a crust. I guess people have been raving about them for 20 years, so we were all expecting to be blown away - though these started in LA and perhaps no one eats there. The pull-apart bread is not that, it's just....bread. The butters it comes with have things in them that you can't really taste. I mean, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth the hype. I got the chicken Caesar wrap, and it was not at all impressive. Food trucks have made better. The lettuce was so lightly dressed it should have been "crispy chicken with (wilted) iceberg lettuce and once frozen fries." Two of my dining companions got the beet salad, and the beets weren't cooked evenly. One of them added shrimp for $12 and it was a SINGLE SHRIMP. My 4th friend got the wings and shrimp cocktail, which were the best meals of the group. That being said, she has a severe egg allergy and the servers were positive the bread and cheese balls didn't have egg, until we asked them to please ask the chef (they definitely have egg). They did bring out complementary dessert, which was vanilla gelato on a brownie and a cup of vanilla gelato for my allergy-ridden friend, and it was the most confusing part of the entire experience. It was under no circumstances "gelato" and it tasted like something and nothing at all. It was like one of those airy nothing artificially flavored Tasty D'Lites from the early 2000s. It was also not vanilla - it tasted like caramel lemon something? I dunno, it was a lovely gesture but it was also just so odd that we didn't eat it. The whole lunch took almost two hours - no water refills, the server didn't come by that much, and it was just not a place to go if you had things to do and places to be. I was so excited I could scream to finally try Wolf by Vanderpump! From the second you step off the elevator into that stunning B&W photo-op with Lisa, you know you're in for a treat. OMGGGGG! Lisa really did the damn thing with the decor. Between the "glass snow" chandeliers and the faux fur chairs, I felt like royalty. The attention to detail--down to the Wolf-engraved pillows--is top-notch. Hits: The drinks are incredibly well-balanced (A+ on the mocktails too!). The lobster ceviche tacos were so fresh and crunchy we ordered three more. And the CHURROS... absolute deep-fried perfection. Misses: The goat cheese balls are tasty but tart, so ask for extra marmalade! Unfortunately, the "Wolf Bread" was only lukewarm, and the lobster balls were a huge letdown--cold and fishy. The service was stellar--shout out to Parker (manager) and Laura (server) for being so gracious! Wolf has only been open a couple of months, so I'm giving them some "new kid on the block" grace. Once we were seated our drinks did not arrive until 8:45pm and then our second round didn't come out until almost 10pm. With our second round of drinks the bartender forgot one of the ladies drinks who then had to wait another thirty minutes for her drink and then when that lasts drink was served our check was brought to us without asking for it. You can really see Lisa Vanderpump's vision throughout the restaurant--from the wolf-themed chairs to the rotating chandeliers. The space is visually stunning and has a fun, upscale vibe. Definitely a great spot for cocktails and soaking in the atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu. read more

My boyfriend and I ate at Wolf by Vanderpump to celebrate our anniversary. We are big Lisa fans and have eaten at her restaurants in Las Vegas and LA - so expectations were high. Wolf did not disappoint. The entire experience was very positive. Since we were looking for a Friday evening, I made reservations about a week in advance to be safe. The restaurant never got completely full, but it was pretty busy, so do I recommend making a reservation. We were sat in a quiet corner by a fireplace. The entire ambiance is so unique and special. Everything looks and feels elevated. There are fun sculptures and lots of chandeliers throughout. Because we sat close to the entrance I didn't get to see further inside the restaurant, but they have a long bar, and lots of table options - including patio seating. The food was solid. Lots of delicious bites. To start we shared the Wolf Bread and Goat Cheese Balls. For mains, I got Ken's Haddock & Chips, my boyfriend got the Butter Seared Chilean Seabass. The bread and cheese balls were excellent. Definitely my favorite bites. My boyfriend really enjoyed his Chilean Seabass. He said the caper sauce carries the perfect notes of acidity to balance out the buttery fish. I enjoyed my fish & chips but the fries seemed out of place. With so many well-crafted dishes, I would expect fresh hand-cut fries or something that feels elevated. These were very run of the mill fries, the same you would find at any chain restaurant. Last night was my first time dining here. A friend of mine, who has been coming since the restaurant opened and absolutely loves it, highly recommended that I give it a try. I made a reservation through OpenTable for 10:45 PM. There was a little confusion at the hostess stand upon arrival, but the staff was extremely friendly and able to get me seated. I was seated at the bar at 10:54 PM. Unfortunately, after being seated, no one acknowledged me--not even to offer water. I waited until 11:09 PM without a greeting or service. There were three staff members behind the bar: two polishing glasses (one directly in front of me) and a bartender moving back and forth handling tasks, while guests around me were being served drinks. I was never asked if I wanted anything, not even water, nor was I greeted. As this was my first visit, it wasn't the best first impression. I eventually went back to the hostess stand to let them know I was going to leave, as I didn't feel particularly welcomed. The hostess who initially seated me was genuinely apologetic and kind. As I was heading to the elevator, the general manager, Paul, stopped me to personally apologize and offered to buy me a drink, explaining that there were several hiccups that evening. By that point, I had already decided to leave, so I didn't get the opportunity to eat or drink. I do appreciate the sincere apology from both the hostess and the general manager. The space itself is beautiful, the menu looks divine, and the drink options are very appealing. I'm willing to give this restaurant another try once it's been around a bit longer and staff training and service flow are more refined--especially since the basic two-minute greeting rule was missed. It also wasn't particularly busy at the time, which made the situation more confusing. I look forward to returning in the future and fingers crossed hopefully having a much better experience. read more

We arrived around 9 pm, which is late but still well before their 12 am closing time, so expectations for service and food quality were still reasonable. The experience quickly fell apart. It took 45 minutes for five small goat cheese balls to arrive, which were pretty good but not worth the long wait. They were also out of frozen drinks, so I ordered the "gold water" margarita, which ended up being 95% tequila and practically undrinkable for someone who's not an alcoholic. When the food finally came out, it was greasy, bland, and completely lacking flavor. Only reason this gets 2 stars is because the atmosphere was good, but everything else was so bad. read more

I had one of the best dining experiences in Scottsdale here! We had a reservation for a birthday and this was the first restaurant that acknowledged a birthday when I put it on the reservation... SHOCKING. Three different workers acknowledged, they even wrote a card for my friend so so cute and a birthday dessert. Huge thank you to Emily our server, 10/10 service and I loved that she also watched Vanderpump. The food was delicious and our waters never went empty. We added the chimichurri to our Ribeye, best decision. The ambiance and sunset were beautiful, so many small details I adored. Next time I'll be sure to request sitting by the open window during sunset, love this place. read more

My first experience was with friends at a table and it was nice. It's a beautiful restaurant indeed. I was excited take my daughters here since they are big fans of the reality show. Thought perhaps, we can celebrate my daughter's 30th. Stopped in at 3:30 to show my other daughter the restaurant, and wow horrible experience. Hostesses were very busy chatting with each instead of welcoming us in. We sat ourselves at the bar closest to entrance . I didn't realize how long the bar was cuz it's separated by mirrored walls. Good/bad..,makes it hard for staff to see the customers?? We didn't see any staff so we went to the center bar where there were 4 ppl with drinks. A staff not in uniform comes directly in front of us doing something. She didn't acknowledge us at all!!! No "hello, someone will be with you". She did her thing and left. 3 of 4 ppl left and still crickets. I mean no other customer except the one guy with a laptop at the end of the bar. Finally , a bartender shows up. Not the friendliest greeting, just a matter of fact. We got drinks & app but had to request small plates from the bar back, Seth. Seth was actually the friendliest staff there. I'm so glad we are NOT celebrating our daughter's birthday there. I don't care how beautiful the place is. Why would anyone want to go pay for bad service??!!! Train your ppl to actually be kind, welcoming and provide good service. Highly do NOT recommend. There's too many good restaurants with good service to choose from here. read more

3 stars is generous. I would say more like 2.5. The 2.5 goes towards the ambiance. It's a beautiful restaurant. That's where the fun ended for us. Service was terrible. It was so slow that our food came before our drinks. The goat cheese balls tasted like cream cheese. No sign of goat cheese. We ordered the beet salad with dressing on the side. (Beautiful presentation but missed the mark on taste). It came drenched in dressing. We told the server but she just shrugged it off. My friends ordered the sliders, the shrimp tacos and some truffle fries. I ordered the chicken. They said the sliders and tacos were fine. Their fries were cold and they could not taste truffle. My chicken was so overly salted that it was inedible. I let the server know and she said she would let the chef know. No one ever came out to apologize or offer to make it right. I was charged for something I could not eat. (I would have taken one properly seasoned to go). Clearly the waitstaff is not well trained. Drinks were good once we got them. I would sit at the bar and have drinks but I would not dine there. They have had enough time to work out the kinks so I'm assuming this is the best they can do. Too bad. read more

Terrible service. We have stayed at the hotel several times and my wife was excited for it to open. We traveled from San Diego to come for her birthday. The ambiance was great, and the food and drinks were pretty good, but our food came out at completely different times, then my steak came out completely cold. When we sent it back the manager came over completely rude not caring at all. Barely apologized and walked away. Our drinks were constantly empty and it was 20 minutes in between each time seeing our waitress. Even the desserts came at separate times and they charged us for the "free" birthday dessert. My wife tried to speak to Parker, the manager, and he again was beyond rude for a manager and threatened to call security when I asked him to leave the table after disrespecting my wife. What could have been a great birthday dinner was completely ruined by inexperienced cocky staff that should not be working in a "fine dining"establishment. read more

I recently visited Wolf by Vanderpump in Scottsdale, and the space is exactly what you'd expect from Lisa Vanderpump. The entire restaurant is very Vanderpump-forward dark, glamorous, and dramatic. If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the aesthetic will feel very familiar. The decor, lighting, and overall vibe are beautiful and definitely one of the highlights. Service was also very good. The staff was friendly and attentive, and overall I felt well taken care of. The food, however, was underwhelming and took quite a while to come out. We tried a burger with fries, a Caesar salad with a parmesan crisp, and some appetizers. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. It tasted like food you could get at many other restaurants in Scottsdale, so it didn't feel particularly special. The cocktails were the standout. The drinks were beautifully presented and very enjoyable definitely something I'd recommend ordering if you visit. Overall I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. I would still recommend checking it out if you're a fan of Lisa Vanderpump or want to experience the atmosphere, decor, and drinks. He even gave us a tour of the event spaces, as my bestie has been scoping some locations for her upcoming life events. This place has a wonderful view with great style. The staff are all very helpful and sweet. The food was very good. We had a few things that were fabulous and few things just mediocre. The Bolognese and the Seabass were phenomenal. The goat cheese balls were quite tasty. The bread from the appetizer menu should just be bread given to the table. It's not much to write home about and the filet mignon was just mediocre. read more
