Nic and Dez are always wonderful when we visit Fridays! My coworkers come after work and always have a great time!

The server was very kind and was checking up on us frequently. The food was very good.

Worst place I've ever been to. I took my girlfriend there to have a nice meal and I use to come here since I was a kid. The server left mid service and was smoking outside with other 2 servers there was no one in the restaurant. It's sad how this ruined our night and I eventually went to a fast food spot after and they gave better service than since dump. It's sad how this place has fallen to the grounds. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Please don't go here if u want a good day or night. read more

Our server was Ry she was awesome! We will definitely be coming back again soon. The food was very delicious

food was good and came out fast, shoutout to our server shawn he made sure we had everything we needed.

I ordered pick-up from here using DoorDash (they had a 50% off promo for your first pick-up order). It took a while for the host to come to the front, and once he got there, he was a little confused about how to find my order, although it had already been brought to the front and was waiting in the storage area right next to the hosts stand. They didn't include any napkins/plasticware in the bag and one of my sauces was missing. The food was just ok. I ordered potato skins, garlic Parmesan wings, and ribs with a side of broccoli and salad. The ribs and wings were good (although the wings were very small), but the potato skins were overcooked and fried very hard. Overall, I'm giving them a rating of 3/5 because the food was tasty, a reasonable price, and it was ready when they said it would be (and still hot when I picked it up). They can improve by double-checking orders to ensure sauces are included, putting in napkins/plasticware in bags, and improving customer service to greet customers when they enter and being able to find orders quickly. read more

This location is not impressive at all. The drinks were just okay. The waitress was nice and knowledgeable. But the food was just okay. I was there with a group 10 Ladies visiting MD for a girls weekend and we decided to grab a bite to eat. Crowd size was average. We were seated immediately. Took a few minutes to get served but once she took our orders it was not that much longer of a wait. I've been to a few TGIF's this one only gets 2 starts from me. read more

Ryshall was awesome! she had great customer service and very attentive us... 5 stars to her

Service was very slow, there was no host, we had to wait more than 15 minutes to see a host, and the worst part was that other employees looked at us but nobody approached to us, not even a host, so we left. read more

It looks as nice as the TGIF Fridays of preCovid times. Even though the staff at the host/hostess station are cordial, there was a lot of busyness but no one at the station was getting seated, closing out their takeout orders or placing any. I watched this while waiting about 5-7 minutes when a man said he'd check the tables. He returned but a lady showed me to a table just behind the cash register. I asked her for a quiet booth. She hesitated then said they had get someone to clean the table and asked me to return to the host station. I pointed to an available booth with a clean table then she said she had to find out who was waiting on that area. There were too many people congregating in the foyer and around the his station. There was too much confusion for me so I left. read more

This place was decent. The cocktails were good and strong, and the food was pretty good as well! I wasn't disappointed at all. There was a nice sized crowd. What I really liked is that there was good music! The bar was "all the way live"! I'll definitely comeback to have drinks and apps while I'm in town! Super cool and fun! read more

This is my first review on yelp, so I wanted the first to really count. Here's your well deserved one star. 1) food took way too long to come out, on a slow night. 2) multiple dirty cups. Mine had a piece of lettuce. At least I think it was lettuce. 3)three orders came out wrong. My steak had to be taken back three times to get it right. 4)cold food (first time it was brought out) 5)one of my friends is allergic to peanuts. Told the waitress, so a suggestion was given. We were in shock when my friend got her dessert. It had peanuts! 6)drink orders took too long to come to us. Again, on a slow night. I went to this specific location once and had a bad experience, about two years ago. The above happened recently so my opinion remains the same. Please go to the Rockville location, they were on point! Thank you for your time! read more

The rap music was so loud the three of us could not even talk to each other. The happy hour drink specials were only in the bar area so we didn't order a drink at the table. The service was slow. My son ordered a steak medium but it was served well done. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and the salad basically had no dressing on it so I had to ask for more (it was NOT homemade and not a good one either so I don't recommend this dish), the few shrimp didn't come with the salad so I had to ask for it (I'm sure she forgot to order it) and then I waited quite a while while the waitress was helping her other two tables. My mother asked for her burger to be well done and it was served medium rare. The french fries were good! They bring you the bill and then you pay at the table with the waitress standing over you. I do not like this because it doesn't give you a chance to review the bill or talk to your other party esp for picking a tip. If memory serves me correctly, 20% was the lowest. I would've given less but I have an issue with someone standing over me (I know, that on me!). I do not recommend this particular location. read more

Bad service, we waited 20 minutes even though there were not many people . Another 10 for the waiter to come . If fact other family of six left after waiting for so long to be seated. We would have my son was going back to UMCP and that was his favorite burger place in the area . read more

We were the only people in the restaurant at 7:45. They made us wait 5 minutes for a table ( even though the restaurant was empty) after they sat us we waited another 10 minutes with no one even taking a drink order. TGI Friday's is always a good choice if you're craving some traditional food. I typically come here for their ribs and sweet potato fries or their chicken Alfredo. The drinks are always good as well! Especially the strawberry henny. Service can be a hit or miss sometimes, some waiters better than others. But I've never really had a terrible experience here. I typically order the same things each time i go and it's usually always seasoned well and tastes pretty great. On Friday/Saturday nights i have been there a few times and seen live bands perform, which makes for a nice dining experience! If you sit at the bar, the bartenders are typically funny and nice! Sometimes the wait can be long, but it's typically not too bad. Parking is also free and there's a huge lot so that's nice, some spots can be a bit tight so just be mindful of that. read more

The food today was horrible. I should've just followed my gut and went home I wanted hot food so I went to get it. Salmon shrimp, mashed potato's and broccoli I didn't wanna send it back because the first plate the broccoli was black on the bottom like spoiled or straight from the ground to pot. But the second plate was extra dry. The broccoli was hard The salmon was dry and the mashed potatoes were dry. I should've just went home or like I first thought. 2/28/20 we ordered take out after working long hours. It was late an a year later we decided we try again. This morning I wake up with unknown charges totaling over $100 for a 30$ bill Today I'm here wanting to talk to a manger he comes out. And comes back talking bout I need to wait until Monday for pending charges. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A GENERAL MANAGER he stated. You can come back later on today. To speak what time that's Confidential I asked for number he repeated I can come back later. As if this isn't a now matter. I asked for regional he said. You can call and speak to him. I said wait to speak to either of your managers. I need to call here and keep speaking to you rurbtio Ugh yeah. No get someone's number corporate regional someone besides you !!!!! TGI Fridays has dropped off my life for some time and I find myself inside this restaurant after years of staying off the chain (since college, to be exact). I was surprised that the cajun shrimp pasta was actually good, however it lacked the "char" that you usually get in cajun dishes. As expected, it's also missing quite a bit of spices to... spice things up? The potstickers was disappointing--tasted reheated from a package. Onion rings were okay, but I sure hope that a restaurant wouldn't screw this up! We opted for the lunch deal, which ended being very economical. I picked the $12 set which included a drink, appetizer, and lunch-sized course. There is also the pair deals, which can make your meal as little as $7. Not bad. Here's where my 2-star comes from: the service. While our server is nice, it took an eternity to get our bill settled and we had to actually hunt for someone to help us settle our table. We also noticed several tables not cleaned after the customers left despite having what appeared to be a fully-staffed restaurant. The floors were dangerously slippery--I'm lucky that I didn't hit the floor on the way to the restrooms. I've had many fond memories in TGI from my younger years... I'll keep those memories. read more

This used to be the spot when they FIRST opened! We haven't been here in years and decided to grab a few drinks and bite to eat. Guess we should have checked the reviews before going. 1.) It took about 8-10 mins before ANYONE greeted us at the front. They continued to walk pass us but never greet and asked to seat us. 2.) The bar was noisy, but that was expected! 3.) Our poor server, she was really great and did her job to the best of her ability. 4.) The menu is deceiving! You can't call it a BLACKBERRY Long Island and use RASPBERRIES! 5.) Since when did they ask if you wanted 6 or 9 ounces of wine!!?? Just pour me a glass please! 6.) The wings, OVERCOOKED! Sent them back and just asked for the entree. 7.) Steak rubbery... 8.) we sent the mac and cheese or should I say the bowl of noddles back twice that they ended up taking it off the menu. 9.) to not spoil the night, we just consumed what was edible and left. Will probably not return! How is this place still in business!?! I assume the very cheap drinks and endless appetizers! read more

This place has an average rating of 2 stars?! That's odd because in my personal experience here, they deserved 4 stars! There was only 1 thing that I thought was lazy on their part but understandable. 12 of us came here after church and was seated after about a 5 minute wait. I never got the name of our waiter but he says "Hola" to greet us. He's a very energetic and outgoing guy so that was good because we were all having a good time. When there's a group of us out at a restaurant, we always have a good time no matter where we are. I guess it's not hard to please me. The Hola guy was prompt and made us feel comfortable. We ordered our drinks first then our entrees after. Before he left to put the orders in, I asked him if he could make separate checks for 9 people. He said okay. We got our drinks around 5 minutes later which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. And we got our food maybe around 30-40 minutes later. I got their Jack Daniels Burger, Medium Rare with fries and JD sauce. I also got the Whiskey Cake with a shot of Baileys for dessert. My brother got the Oreo cake which I had a bite of. Everybody else got whatever they got and for the most part enjoyed their meals. The burger was flavorful and even when the burger was well done :( it was still tender. Just not really juicy. The fries were pretty good until you dip it in the Jack Daniels sauce and they were even better! The dessert was good too. When you get your spoon and get a little bit of everything then consuming the delicious mess into your belly; from the cold ice cream to the warm and fluffy toffee cake smothered by the alcohol and fudge. Delicious. I also had a bite off of my brother's Oreo cake and it was pretty good. It's more like an Oreo ice cream cake. Then when we got our check, it was 1 check for the 12 of us. I guess he was either lazy to make them all separate or he didn't have time or what but it took us like 20 minutes just to handle the check efficiently. We had some Math Majors in the group and it was tough for them to do the math between 12 people. I should have taken a star off for that BUT it didn't take the fun away because while we were waiting, we all were just having a good time. So Mr. Hola guy, you were lucky this time! :) Out of a 275 dollar bill, he got a 70 dollar tip. I was too busy having fun that I didn't realize the decor of the place, the little specs of food under the table on the floor or how they got some of our orders mixed up. It didn't take the fun out of my experience there, mostly because of the people I was with. But either way, this place was good. read more

First and last time I'll be coming here. I came for lunch and I have an hour to eat. There are hardly any customers seated and the bar has 2 or 3 patrons. It takes a few minutes for the bartender to approach me. She asks me what I'll have to drink and I ask for a water with ice. (She immediately wrote me off and this makes me boil). I came here to have lunch, I'm not looking to drink on my lunch hour and just because I wont be ordering alcohol doesn't mean that you should treat me any differently. I assume she believed I wouldn't tip as much. Boy was she right. Why am I ranting? 10 minutes later, a man sat two seats down from me and ordered a Grand Marnier margarita on the rocks, no salt. She reached out her hand, shook his, and introduced herself. (ARGH). A 3 course lunch was 12.99, unfortunately, the food was terrible. Where to start? I got the Spinach Flatbread. I think this just came out of the freezer because the middle was cold and the outsides were warm. Do they microwave this stuff? I had to wait for the burger to find out... I got the black angus cheeseburger. It was dressed nicely, with fresh veggies and crispy fries that were pretty well seasoned. When they didn't ask me how I wanted my patty done, I knew something was up. The meat was something straight out of a McDonald's heating tray. Cooked all the way through and processed. Just tasted like fast food. On to course three... Vanilla Bean cheesecake. This was probably the best part (other than the free water). The cheesecake was presented nicely (see pics) but was still half-frozen. I had to labor to get the fork all of the way through and I didn't bother to finish all of it. This adventure took me 56 minutes. Come on... no customers and one simple order takes one hour to bring everything out? Tragic. Half a star for each time they opened the door for me (on the way in and the way out). I will not be coming back. read more

Flashback to 1979. My first visit ever to a T.G.I. Friday's back in Southfield, Michigan. I was just a scrawny pre-teen and restaurant dining wasn't something my family did on a regular basis. Friday's was new and fresh back then. Their menu looked like a leather bound dictionary. I thought it was the coolest place I'd ever been too. (I led a pretty sheltered life!) The menu was huge, like Cheesecake Factory. Of course I don't remember what I had, but I know it took us a while to peruse their menu. The following year I'm in London for my Nana and Granddad's 50th Anniversary party. My mom and I are in Covent Garden, and there's a Friday's!!! I dragged my mom in because I hated British food, with the fatty meats and steak and kidney pies everywhere. Flash forward to 2008. So, I am a grown up now, and just like Santa Claus, the thrill is gone now. T.G.I Friday's is so ordinary now. However, last night out of convenience to the nearby Target, my neighbor and I went here for dinner. She really wanted a salad and we knew this was a better choice than nearby Mo's. Long and the short (after my trip down Memory lane): not bad food at all! My friend ordered their new slider's (Everybody's serving them these days) and a Caesar salad. I had a Tuscan Portobello Mushroom Melt. It was really good folks! It was made with chopped, grilled portobello mushroom pieces, melted provolone and Monterrey jack cheeses, tomatoes and onions on toasted white bread. Best yet, it was accompanied by a cup of hot, fire-roasted red pepper soup. Service was quick and friendly. Three stars for being ordinary, plus one thrown in for nostalgia. read more

I'm giving this place a high rating because of the service. This is my go to spot if I'm in the area and need some good drink options. Lets be honest its TGIF food its not going to blow you away. But, with all their rewards and promotions on food you won't be spending a lot. I recently stopped by with some friends and ordered the endless apps. They make each person pay the $10 for the apps promotion. We had the BBQ chicken flatbread, pot stickers, fried green beans, mozzarella sticks, and boneless chicken in Jack Daniel's sauce. Food took a while to come out about 15-25 mins every time we needed a re order on apps so I recommend re ordering every time they bring out the food. Staff here is always friendly and attentive. With plenty of parking in the lot you won't have any trouble finding a spot. read more

The reason I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend has nothing to do with the service or with the skill of the kitchen staff. They did the best they could do with the menu provided to them. I have not visited a TGI Fridays in many years, and I doubt I'll visit again in the near future. My memory of the menu includes large, flavor filled burgers with excellent toppings, steaks that did not need to hide under sweet sticky glazes, and a pleasant atmosphere. Based on yesterday's visit, only the pleasant atmosphere remains. My burger was dry and crumbly, and was topped with an overly salty pepperoni marinara sauce which I had to remove. My son's steak- ordered without sauce- was also dry. While this is partly because he ordered it medium well, he's eaten many steaks cooked to that temperature that maintain their flavor. I was thankful that I'd ordered the green bean fries, and my son came home and made himself a bowl of soup. This visit was a good reminder for me that I am not the target demographic, and that a menu based around foods that taste good with a cold beer are not my preference. The burgers I miss were a build your own concept. I remember having a nice list of available toppings, and I was able to choose four. TGI Fridays was the first restaurant where I could reliably order guacamole for my burger, so I did. Guacamole, black beans, sautéed onions, and bacon. This was 30 years ago and I still remember begging my family to eat at your restaurants when we spotted them during our travels. I'd love to see a pared down portion of the menu that did not depend so heavily on sauces and party tricks. I see that they have brought back a build your own toppings list, and so I will keep my fingers crossed that it will stick around long enough for me to try it if I should visit a TGI Fridays again. read more

So I've been here twice for lunch now and the same issues have come through both times. The servers are friendly but not attentive or quick. I can deal with this, it gets busy so it's fine. My main issue is the speed at which my food arrives. Both times it's taken almost 40min!!! to get my food. Both times it's wasn't very busy once at 2pm and the day we went at 1pm. Both times it was my chicken dish that held everything up. Do NOT get the chicken sliders, they are horrible. Just bland breading with super dry chicken inside and fried to extinction. This last time I had the chicken Caesar salad hoping that would be faster. Wrong! Still took forever. It was fine, nothing special and not worth getting again. If my lunch break was only 30 min I could never eat here. You legitimately need over an hour to get lunch which is absolutely insane. I've concluded that they don't know how to cook chicken. Their beef sliders, fries, mozzarella sticks, shrimp pasta, and pretzels are actually pretty good. So to summarize, don't order chicken and make sure you have at least an hour to wait for your food. read more

Hmm..I like TGI Fridays, and not that I expect a 5 star white table cloth experience here but wow do they fall short. I have been to this location two times. When you arrive, no one greets you, I actually spoke to the hostess and forced her to speak. The bar service was slow both times. My food was edible but less than room temperature. It took about 20 minutes to be acknowledged at the bar. Don't think I'm coming back. This franchise owner needs to do a customer service 101 in service with the staff here. Oh, and had to wait another 20 minutes for a manager to process my TGI Friday's rewards. read more

This Fridays location has been a good choice the few times I have been here with my family or on a date night. New menu items and affordable food make it work. It was perfect for our Father's Day "lunner" aka late lunch+dinner per my sister. Most other options required reservations or would have had long waits. Efficient wait staff can make or break a good dining out experience. Our server was excellent with how he handled our table and others in his section. He triple checked orders and followed up after dishes came out. Our food was mostly at the correct temperature. Some were too hot and to wait to cool off. Great experience in terms of service and menu choices. We will be back and if you haven't been here yet, try it and see for yourself. read more

I wish that I could give them 1/4 star! Customer service is HORRID!!! We placed an online to-go order with a 7:52 pm confirmation- food wasn't ready till 8:15...we got no explanation as to why the food was so late - only received a "sorry for the wait" from the manager. This place is so unorganized- with several customers in the lobby complaining about long waits and late food. I will NEVER visit this so-called establishment again. Two horrible experiences in a row. I feel foolish for giving them a second chance! Beware!!! read more

The service is very slow. Music is so loud even outside the bar area. I was sitting in the area next to the bar. There were drunk women grinding on one another. I had my daughter with me. I complained four times to the manager And nothing was done. They were so drunk they could barely stand. It is the bartender and the managers responsibility to make sure this doesn't happen. It seemed as the music became louder, the girls became wilder. It's disgusting to go into a place with your family where people think including management that being trashy is acceptable for families and the elderly. read more
