This place is in a strip mall. The menu has upscale pub grub. Hubby enjoys meeting friends here. The bar area was comfy. If you are visiting at night, be aware of traffic.

Quench is bout to be my new Friday night hangout spot lol. I had such a good time a this cute place. I wouldn't have ever known it was there if I hadn't been in the area looking for wine but I'm glad I found it lol. I tried the Philly cheesesteak while I enjoyed drinks and karaoke, the sandwich was delicious and fresh. Super fun random night with hubby. No cover charge, drink prices were great and there there's lots of parking space.

Hm...not bad at all! Santucci's is my go-to for delicious subs, but this place isn't far behind in terms of taste/value/location/quality. The hoagie rolls are very large, and stuffed with tasty ingredients (like cold cuts, philly steak, cheese, fresh veggies). My only complaint would be about the uncooked onion (and the thickness of it), but that's a personal preference and in no way diminishes the flavor/quality of their food. It also helps that upon entering, you're looking at rows upon rows of various wine. This isn't a place that focuses on 10-15 types of wine, in bulk. This is a place that easily carries over 100 types. Who doesn't like that? Red, white, rosè...and if you're bored with that, there's a section with craft beer and hard ales. All the bases are covered. It's actually perfect for a casual dinner in. Grab a few sandwiches in the back (which are made fresh to order), a couple bottles of wine, and one of those delicious nougat treats at the checkout. Even their chips are gourmet. Avocado-oil Chilean lime kettle chips and Olive-oil rosemary kettle chips, among others. Really? That's just awesome. You also have the option of dining in, where there's 20 types of beer on tap. There's a tasting tomorrow (Friday), which starts at 7 and live music that begins later (until close). It didn't seem like an every day type of thing, but those taps are back there. Every day. *Just an FYI, the tap room is located on the right as soon as you walk in.* It's safe to say that Quench just earned themselves a repeat customer...

Been coming here for a few years. The owner Mike is chill af and the staff is very friendly. Food is better than regular bar stuff, would recommend. I rarely do carryout, but I gotta support hole in the wall places like this in these trying times.

    Yum!

In the bowl were also some chopped sweet peppers. I am surprised that I was not given a spoon so I can slurp up the broth. I ordered the Dr. Bird burger for my entree. The beef was tasty and perfectly done to the temp that I like. The fries were typical and totally fine. Service was a little lacking in some areas. I had to ask for a spoon for the bowl of mussels. We had to ask for more water. Since we noticed that the servers came around to other tables (mostly to clear empty plates), we thought it was okay to ask a nearby server (who was not our original server) for more water. She didn't seem happy about it because she let out a sigh and didn't say a word. She did come back with a carafe of water and left it on the table. And while she was there, we asked for more ketchup because the bottle on our table was empty. She came back with a full bottle but again, did not say a word even after we thanked her both for the water and for the ketchup. Noise level: Loud. Must speak with raised voices in outside patio when all the tables are occupied with diners. There is a TV screen but that was muted. 80's music (which I love) was playing. Parking: Somewhat adequate. We got the last spot so not sure where we would have parked if it was full.

I've been to many bars in the past 20 years, but mostly in my 20's. I'll admit in most recent years, I'm not a big bar person. When I lived in Wheaton (2017-2020), I could walk to several bars, which I'd give 4-stars to including Legends pool hall and a couple of Spanish bars. Limerick Pub is decent just for the drinks, but I had some complaints with them, which led to my 3-star review. Unplugged didn't hit the mark with me. It's dark & crowded on the Thursday night we were in there. Getting the drink & paying was challenging. I'll give credit for their outside area to get some fresh air.
