When we arrived at this link in the Texas Roadhouse chain for dinner here recently, we found that the place was completely packed. Fortunately, we had previous experience with this restaurant and availed ourselves of the wait list :-) Tip: Even at rush times, the wait times for seating can be minimize by using the wait list. It turned out that we were seated in a little more than five minutes. They gave us our menus as we sat down and took our orders promptly. For dinner we shared the fried chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes and garlic green beans - Yum! Eating the breading on the chicken brought back distinct memories of the Swanson TV dinners I ate when I was a puppy. We've visited at least 100 Roadhouses around the US, in different states and many locations within those states and must say this was the best overall experience we've ever had... Ever. The staff were great, the food was excellent and they seasoned and cooked everything to perfectly, our drinks were awesome and the interior was well maintained and very clean. From walking in through leaving everyone was professional, well mannered and we could tell staff and management cared about the guests experience, which definitely shon through without question. It's not often we write a positive review like this one, and it's exactly why we asked to speak with the manager (Tiffany) to share our feedback. We also asked that she share our thoughts with all the staff, because they deserved to know how wonderful our experience had been. Tiffany was absolutely overjoyed and quite taken aback, that it wasn't a complaint as originally suspected. While she was very pleasant, she assured me that she didn't mean to interrupt, but then went on to do just that. Then the server kept coming by, despite my assurances that everything was fine. I was in the middle of eating when he asked if he could clear plates. Then came by thirty seconds later to see if everything was alright- stipple was. Then followed that with an offer of the check ninety sec8nds later. Then came by a minute later to ask if he clear more plates, etc. I get it. I'm by myself eating and you want the table. I had trouble choking down the baked potato even with the extra sour cream that the waitress was nice enough to bring when asked. They advertise "fall off the bone" ribs and fresh sides. We got dry hard ribs and veggies (broccoli and carrots) that were dried out. Ribs had baked on sauce that was so dried out that it gave them a hard coating. No offer for bbq sauce on the side. There were enough people in the place so should have been no problem with freshly cooked items. I should have complained to management but we were pressed for time so just left. Never going back. We're a group of 'younger' retired people who love dining out, We chose several restaurants a week based on menu selection and review comments. Upon arrival our seater was very curt and wouldn't seat most of the party til everyone was there. Our waitress was amazing and the general manager brought samples of sides to the table for us to try. However, protein [mostly beef] from the kitchen were a huge disappointment. Although things were asked for asked for medium rare everything came from the kitchen cooked well. And none of the steaks had been properly trimmed of excessive. Because we gather over food to socialize our final disappointment came when at regular interval the music became loud and staff did some performance antics ending everyone's conversation. Eugena, was a very rude server. The food was impeccable, i would love to give this place a 5/5 star review just on the food. the service however gets a 1 star review. She did not check on us after providing us with our drinks, we also mentioned that we did not receive our bread and she stated that she will go fetch us some when they were cooked. We waited over 40 minutes and then we mentioned it again as we had saw other tables that came after us receive their bread. She then brought over 3 baskets and threw them down on the table before walking away, then she simple never came back! My husband and I visited this Texas Roadhouse on our 2 year wedding anniversary as it is the place that we had our first "date". We were seated in Asia's section. She was a very bubbly, charismatic person. She isn't put off by any requests and explains anything you might have a question about. I LOVE that she brought extra cinnamon butter for us as well! Their steaks are to die for! I absolutely love their New York Strip steak cooked rare. Although it was really crowded I was able to get seated quickly. The server was pretty nice but I didn't like the food at all the appetizers some were undercooked some were dried out just not good. Then that sweet potato with 60 uncooked marshmallows just hanging out on top it just looked so unappetizing. The chicken was ok although I didn't care for the congealed gravy. It was Friday at dinner time and were were seated within 5 minutes. Our server promptly took our drink order and delivered warm rolls to our table. We both ordered steaks medium rare. My son loves it here and I take him as a treat when my husband is on a business trip. Today we ordered drinks and soon after ordered our entrees. His drink came. My salad came and I had to ask the lady who brought it to check on my drink. It came within minutes. Also our dinners came minutes after my salad arrived. No one checked to see if everything was ok. My son ate and sat 10 plus minutes with no drink. He ate the ice bc he was thirsty. I had a beer so I couldn't share. I had to ask a random employee to send a manager over. She was dismissive, rude and bothered. I asked for boxes and the check bc I just wanted to leave at this point. She told me they were busy fixing a mixed up bill at another table. That's not my problem and should not affect my service. I'm paying the same as everyone else. I'd look over the service bc I know everyone is short staffed if not for her. I tipped the waiter well even after this. $72 bill $20 tip. This lady should not be a manager. Dealing with people isn't for everyone. I couldn't do it. Our server was great too. Montez was his name and he had a good attitude, was friendly, and willing to joke around. He was attentive, but not overly attentive. I don't like when servers check on you every couple minutes. He let us dig into our food before asking how it was and checked back about halfway through to make sure we were good.
