Our waiter, Reese, came over right away and took our drink & appetizer order. Within a minute or two, he was back with drinks and to take our entree order. We were already snackin' on rolls and their delicious cinnamon butter. Our fried pickles, within just a few more minutes. The fried pickles and dip are amazing! Not too salty, just crunchy enough. Perfect. I ordered the 8oz sirloin, cup of chilli and fries. The chilli was perfect! The first bite, I could taste the cumin which I LOVE & followed by just the right kick of spice! YUM. The sirloin was cooked perfectly and the fries, seasoned just right. I love a meal that I can focus on the flavor of the meal and not the salt -- well done, Texas Roadhouse! My sister ordered the same as I, except her steak was medium well and it was superb, she said. My bro-in-law ordered the 11 oz, rare and specifically asked for a center cut. As a seasoned cutter at TR for years, he said he's always received it exactly as ordered. :) Reese was so good to us! Fast, friendly service & kept our drinks coming without ever asking. I share a meal with my wife as both of us are light eaters. Therefore we can choose a nice meal and leave with a decent bill and be not overeating. We chose to eat a New York strip steak and wanted it to be medium well cooked. We received a fully cooked and somewhat charred steak. We were hungry and wanted to eat quickly and go to sleep as soon as possible, because we were driving next day several hundreds of miles. When kindly asked about our food, we commented that it was very tasty but well overcooked. The manager came and offered another steak. I refused as I didn't want to throw a tasty steak away. In spite of our approach, they brought us a perfectly cooked steak and a cheesecake for both of us! We sliced the steak and put it in the box provided. I haven't been here in a while. Now I remembered why. The steak is never cooked correctly. Also there's so much fat. You've changed the bread/rolls. The texture of the rolls was hard. The cinnamon butter was missing the cinnamon. The butter on the baked potatoes was also missing flavor. When did butter become white? So disappointed. No one at my table could finish their meal. We came here because my parents absolutely love it. While we don't typically eat til around 8pm, they wanted to head there at 4pm & I wasn't all that excited about the early dining. They open at 4pm & we arrived shortly thereafter to a rather full parking lot and a line out the door. My father suggested one of us go get on the list & we wait in the car, as there was no empty seating inside. This was a bit mind-blowing to me. Had I realized we'd have a 40min wait, I'd have hopped on the waitlist en route. Ordering was pretty straight forward & dinner for 4, with meals & waters for 2, comp veteran meal & meal with soda for 1 came to $13 remaining after a $25 gift card - so, $38 bucks... guess that explains the long line and their eagerness. As for the food- the hubs ordered salmon & I ordered the sad looking portobello mushroom chicken, with sweet potato. What came out is the stuff nightmares are made of (see pic). Fortunately, it tasted better than it looked. According to the table, the first basket of rolls were hard. I didn't have any, & 1 steak was cooked perfectly & the other was over - tho our server checked in frequently & did ask if the steaks were cooked as desired, nobody said no. Overall, decent for the price. I do with they offered more real vegetable side options. We hadn't really tried a Texas Roadhouse until 3 years ago. Now we try to eat at one whenever we find one available (if only they were open more days for lunch!) Had lunch at the Shiloh location last week and it was as good as we expected. I tried ribs there for the first time. They were fall off the bone tender, I would have liked more sauce. The chili is great snd is my go to side now. I also hit the seasoned rice, I've been sneaky bites of my wife's that she gets with the salmon and it is very good. She had a steak which was perfect temperature, salad and baked potato. Everything was just right. There was a wait so we were able to find seating at the bar. I normally just post reviews on new places I've tried but this restaurant deserves a review! I eat here at least once a week! First of all you can join the waitlist on their app before you arrive which is super convenient! All of the servers are friendly and seem to really like their jobs. They talk about how well the top management is here. The last manager that came to our table has worked there for 13 years so that tells you something! The management reflects in the service and the quality of food! You are lead to your table with the hostess carrying a hot basket of yeast rolls! The steaks are seasoned so well! They are delicious and this is coming from someone that goes to a lot of expensive steakhouses. This restaurant is always busy which I think is a good thing. The baked potatoes are encrusted with sea salt. I really love them! The sweet potatoes are just as good with marshmallows, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter and carmel sauce. There is a herb crusted chicken that is lemony goodness! If I'm not feeling a steak, that's what I get. My husband likes the BBQ chicken. The salads are great! The ranch dressing is homemade and delicious! You can add diced onions for free and bacon for 50 cents if you would like. The salads have a lot on them already. The ice tea is brewed and so good! There are a lot of TVs from every angle. You can even advertise your business on them for a fee. I don't feel like it's a really loud place but I like the casual ambiance. It's comfortable I guess is the best way to describe it. We always take advantage of the gift card holiday specials and purchase a bunch because we know without a doubt, we will be coming a lot! I wish I could leave 10 stars! Our server, Brilynn, was amazing! So professional and attentive. She was very busy with tables, but never appeared rushed when speaking with us. She was genuinely courteous and kind. Her hair was neatly pulled back (which is a biggie for me. Don't want hair in my food.) I highly recommend her. And of course, our food was delicious! I actually love this place. But its been kind of hit n miss with the food. My brother in law loves it so much today was his 12th visit since he moved here from NYork almost a year ago. He brings all visitors here as a treat. Today is the 4th of July and we're here with guests. Our bill was or 250.00. The server was attentive, the appetizers were on point as usual. The food was cooked to perfection but so SALTY. My grandson had the Chicken Dinner and only took two bites saying he could only taste salt. There is always warm bread. And you better get there early or be prepared to wait. (You can call in and get on their wait list. That lessens the pain.) If you've not been to Texas roadhouse, you have a treat in store. If you have been there before, well, you know exactly what you're in for. And it's almost always worth it! I've eaten at this one a handful of times and it's usually decent. on a positive note, they did apologize for the delay, and the replacement steak was cooked to perfection. Tonight I ordered a medium rare sirloin that was about as dry as shoe leather and I sent it back. I understand this can happen. This place is really busy. It isn't so much the mistake, it's the length of time it took for them to remake my order. People sitting nearby placed their food order as I sent my steak back and they received their orders long before my order was remade and served. Even had to send the waitress to check on it twice. We went here on a Wednesday night and it was busy. The wait was about 40 minutes. You'll find peanuts all over the restaurant. I ordered the porkchop and for my sides I had a salad and a baked potato. The porkchop comes with a peppercorn sauce. The sauce is so good. With the porkchop it's a great combination. The restaurant is a fun place to hang out with friends and family. There is a jukebox and it's free. Our waitress was friendly and she kept checking on us. The restroom trash did need to be emptying. My family and I went to Texas Roadhouse on a Friday. We used the app to check in and get a table with a quickeness. It was successful! We sat at the Willie Nelson corner table which is a great spot to take in the restaurant. The beer was cold and the food was hot. Not too hot! Just right. Our server was very friendly and attentive. This is our family favorite. We always seem to go here when we are out with the kids. The rolls and cinnamon butter are to die for and you can honestly fill up on just those. If you happen to get the steak fries make sure you get them with cheese and bacon bits. If you have to get a kids meal the steak bites are so very good. The food was flavorful; however, was cold. A manager was sent over to help and she said she would bring us all new dishes. We just asked her for boxes as the other persons with us did not mind their food being cold so they were nearly finished eating by the time the manager came over. We really do love TRH but this time was not their best. Ohhhhh we were not asked if we wanted a dessert. I wanted a dessert but once again it took a long time for the server to come back and she was like in a hurry to just give one of the other person at our table a beer and run away. I would say it was because they were so busy but they are always busy. I did notice the peanuts were not on the table or in the front waiting area. It is a chain, it is designed to get people in and out, serve basic American foods with a kitschy nod to what some guys in $1K suits think represents Texas. So the music is loud and country, there are peanut shells all over the floor, animal heads (likely fake, which somehow makes them more disturbing to me)adorn the walls, the nods to veterans and first responders abound. That being said... Our meals were nice,middle of the road, mass kitchen, chain restaurant versions of what we ordered. My spouse got salmon, baked potato and salad. Her comment about the salmon exposes the limitations that a place like this works with. It was clearly frozen and cooked too long and served bland. I got a sirloin & rib combo with caesar salad. The steak was cooked medium as requested, good but somehow "generic", I used the steak sauce (spicy catsup?) they had on the table, don't have do that with my own steaks at home. The ribs were actually quite good, fall off bone, decent sauce (a bit too salty but tolerable). We were seduced by the onion cactus [the squirrels will enjoy that today] we ate some of it, but the bottom was doughy/visible flour. We will skip that if we come back. The idea of it is better than the execution (at least this location, this night). It was Friday night, this is an area with good DoD money, stable jobs, etc. so people of all stripes can afford the Texas Roadhouse price point (we spent $47 with $10 tip, no booze, doing dry January...the struggle is real). We waited about an hour, in retrospect, not really worth that but obviously were not alone. Why did we do it? Why do any of us wait to eat at places like Roadhouse, Longhorn, Outback, etc?
