The new location is so much nicer than the old one! It's really got a nice, relaxing, modern ambiance. We ate there for my birthday dinner, and had a really wonderful dinner. Our server was a very friendly, kind young lady, I think her name was Ebony? They were quite busy, but we never waited for anything. Our drinks were always full, she cleared dishes as soon as we were done, and got us to-go trays at the end very quickly. We both had the 6oz sirloin with loaded potatos and a salad. Mine had an allergen request, which they took care of. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and very tender. Our salad greens were fresh and the salads were properly dressed. Asked for butter and cinnamon on the side for our sweet potato's of course was not on the side. They asked us to take a survey but it flipped off before the screen before we could . We made a day date of it, went to Target then Outback for an early dinner. We were surprised by how many people were there at that time. We were seated right away and our server was there in two minutes to get our drinks and appetizers. I had the blueberry lavender lemonade- absolutely delicious! I actually had two, lol. We were given some bread and butter before our cheese fries arrived, then our salads were served. I had the wedge- a little different twist but still delicious, and my husband had the house salad which he liked. I ordered the Filet with a loaded baked potato and the salad. The Outback that we always went to closed years ago. When we were over in this area I was surprised to see a new Outback open. We finally stopped for dinner to check it out. My filet was cooked to order but I and another guest ordered baked potatoes which they informed us when the order was ready that the restaurant was out of potatoes ( HARD TO BELIEVE). The newest addition to the "steakhouse" family of restaurants in the O'Fallon area. Is there anything about this OBSH that stands out among any other? No, not really. The menu and food offerings are the same as any other OBSH. But clearly, this is a recently constructed building, with upgraded decor. The design and layout is nice, and of course all of the fittings are new. Seating is roomy and comfortable, including the booth seating. Everything is nicely finished, and the bar area is exceptional! Service, from the hostess to the wait staff are friendly and professional. Service was well delivered and the meal order was accurate and tasty. Aside from a traditional steak, I had the Prime Rib sandwich, and it was over the top, delicious! If you're looking for a steak dinner, along with all the other traditional options (burgers, chicken, ribs, etc.), in a very casual atmosphere, you really can't go wrong here. Prices are moderate, but for a large family (4+), it could get a little spendy, depending on what's ordered. And on that note; they do have a nicely priced children's menu. read more

I'll be completely honest that I've never been a huge fan of outback after their big remodel in the mid 2000s. it seemed that the quality had cut back to afford the new redesign. However, this does not seem to to be true for the O'Fallon outback. The servers are ridiculously friendly and the food is very good I ordered the prime rib and the server stayed with me when the food was brought to ensure it was cooked properly Mine was a bit rarer than medium rare so they threw it back on the grill and brought it back fairly quickly. The value for what you get is very good and I look forward to going back to outback even the management stopped by to talk with me for a little bit read more

The food we ordered definitely was a G'day to all the entree's and we're cooked to your request and tastes all was delicious. The waitress names were "B B", she was very respectful and she seemed as if she done this bar'b before. It was a fairly new establishment and good help is hard to come by these days but all the extra help was evident serving food, "B B" made sure drinks were refilled without asking ect...they operated very smoothly. We went to Outback Steakhouse for an early dinner with friends. We had to wait for a table to be seated with a wheelchair. We finally got seated, the staff was very polite and offered us a free appetizer because we had to wait to be seated. We ordered the blooming onion, which was very tasty. The food was very tasty. The service was very nice. The manager came around to make sure that we were satisfied with our food and service. I am sure that we will return to this restaurant for future meals. They have a full open bar and bar area in which to be seated. I think that OUTBACK will be very successful here. read more

We were a group of 5 and the only part of anyone's meal that was ok - not even good - was the filet. The ribeyes were overly fatty and tough - cooked to medium - ordered medium rare - lobster tail - over cooked and rubbery. Chicken dry as could be, ribs looked likedbthey had been sitting, drying out for hours. Service was incredibly slow - had to ask for everything 2 or 3 times. Server had too many tables and did not write anything down so kept forgetting refills, sauces, etc. Chili was good, but unbearably spicy for most at our table and Caesar salad was good. First time trying the new place. Will not be back and can't understand why parking lot is always full - must all be 1st timers too. read more

Went to outback today for my husband's birthday. My steak had to be sent back twice because it wasn't cooked right but I was really appalled that our baked potatoes had been scooped out and then was only like 2 forkfuls of potato in it. I was really looking forward to a good baked potato because outback is one of the few restaurants that makes baked potatoes to order....but if they scoop all the potato out of your potato it's not even worth it. We looked at a well reviewed restaurant in STL but the neighborhood had cars on concrete blocks and groups of men hanging around . We decided to go to a safe area in Shiloh. We chose Outback. We were seated immediately. Our server, Jaylin, or a name near that, was great. He served the dark bread and butter and got our drinks quickly. We both ordered burgers and fries. Even though he was busy, he checked back frequently and asked if we needed anything. He is personable and we enjoyed him. The bathroom was clean. There was plenty of parking and I appreciated the veterans parking spaces. They applied a vet discount, thank you. We will definitely return. read more

Well after a nightmare visit to the Springfield IL location years ago we are trying this one. First off they tried to seat up at the table by the kitchen where the staff sits thru most of your time here. It's been a hour still no food. They clearly ignored the table next to us when they spilled a soda, another customer offered a napkin but just terrible service. If you hate having empty plates removed fron the table when you're finished, you're in luck!! Because they leave them all!
