This place was good for a short period of time but as of recent has went down hill exponentially! My steak came out WELL DONE and yet still made it out before the appetizer! When I asked about the over cooked steak they took it back but came back to tell me they couldn't cook it medium rare. I had one medium rare last week here! Wow just wow! Well apps said wait time for party of 3 was 5-15 mins so we sent, got host wait time was 0-10 mins , so got cell number to text when order ready, so sign in at 7:58pm, got text to be on deck for next table at 8:10pm got in checked in, and stood around the inside waiting on name, they called our name at 8:27pm.that 3 times longer then what they said. This was my first time eating at this Texas Roadhouse and it was a great choice. We were seated after a short wait. Our server was pleasant and patient as we looked over the menu. I opted for the herb crusted chicken as recommended by my friend, who also ordered the same. It was indeed one of the best meals I've eaten at Texas Roadhouse. The chicken was very flavorful, the broccoli was cooked just right and the specialty rice was delicious and a nice addition to the meal. Went here Saturday night. On the plus side we only had to wait a few minutes to get seated. On the negative, service was terrible and our food and drinks were super slow. 25 min just to get our salads. Rest of food took forever. Drinks were never refilled. All we ordered were 12 rolls to go. They said it would take about 10 minutes and they'd text us when they were ready. After 20 minutes, my husband went to check to see what was going on with the rolls and they were just sitting there. Thru told him he could get them. We open the rolls, no butter! Am sharing my personal experience : Just left here after dinner on a Wednesday. Service was excellent! (Militia was friendly and very attentive). however, the 24oz Porterhouse that I ordered was ruined from the start... I ordered rare, but received well done (medium well at best)... just see the pictures. I didn't complain to my server since I had already waited some time, I was super hungry, the restaurant was getting busy, and I didn't want to be that guy at my table to hold everyone else back (wasn't trying to avoid paying) Maybe the cook had an offnight, but this was Not worth the nearly $40 cost (after tax). read more

Absolutely T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E. EXPERIENCE!!! My fiancé and I were there for a maximum of 3 minutes. We were first seated at a table for SIX as a party of TWO. We were seated at a table for two pushed up against a table for four. The table for two was gray while the table of four was a natural wood color. We asked our hostess if we could move the table of two up against the wall on the other side. She agreed. Before we could even order drinks or eat a roll, another hostess comes and tells us that our table for two does not belong there and tells us to move it back to being pushed against the table of four. We tell her the other hostess said it was okay and she, very robotically, repeats the same phrase, while expecting us to move it ourselves. So we gathered our things and left. Food was brought out hot 2. Juliana was a GREAT server Negative: 1. We were escorted to a table that hadn't been cleaned yet. We stood waiting about 10 minutes. 2. No silverware or serving plates were on the table 3. We were brought dirty silverware with food on it 4. Poor GM management - The problem of dirty silverware was brought to GM's attention who turned around and gave me dirty silverware again. 5. Dirty glasses 6. We were served food without silverware because they said they were out of silverware. The food sat for 20 minutes before we had any silverware to eat with. The Manager and GM were made aware of the bad experiences and would not discount the meal as it isn't their policy. Lack of cleanliness is a serious health concern that this location doesn't seem to take seriously. They tried to give us a coupon only good for their restaurant at this location but we were visiting from out of town. This place lacks the maturity to take care of customer's basic needs. Today when we visited this location, they were super busy I get that but the customer service was horrible. We had to wait a while when we got sat down it took 15 mins to get rolls. Texas Roadhouse has never disappointed until this time. Salads use to taste a fresh. Steak was dry. Which we do order ours well done but it has always been tasty. Even with those minor complaints..we will go back. All restaurants have their moments with customers. Service was good. My main gripe is the long red hair(past shoulders) bus person did not have his hair pulled back! That is one of the #1 no no's in any restaurant. Needs addressed. Why it was allowed, I don't understand. He was out and about in the costumer area and hair could end up anywhere. After a while I was informed that it was locked up in a safe and the only manager able to get it out was on the line cooking and could not get it. Then how in the world can you tell me this is med rare if you don't even know if they're temping the steaks or what the temperature med rare is! Very frustrating. Horrible customer service. Had the best experience here today. We didn't have a long wait. In fact, we were seated immediately! Our server's name was Ty. We adored him and loved his service. Give that man a promotion! He was on top of everything. The steaks were cooked to perfection. At the Texas Roadhouse we've been to in FL, the steaks are not cooked as well. The other staff was great too. It was super busy. The wait time was 2+ hours. Fortunately, you can join the waitlist online and go at the estimated time given. I arrived about 30 minutes after the estimated time and was seated immediately. It worked out well for me because I planned ahead. The service was a little slow ,but the server was doing her best. She was friendly and moving as fast as she could. Now to the food. I ordered salmon with mashed potatoes and a side house salad. We've been wanting to come here for some time but wanted to wait until they worked out the kinks after their grand opening. Glad we did for our visit was fantastic. First of all, you DEFINITELY want to check in via the app! We were an hour away which was about the current wait time. When we got there I used to app to say we were "here", so we only had to wait about 5 minutes. When we got in, we heard the wait time was almost 1.5 hours! This place is busy and there's a reason for that.... Great food & Great service! I had the Bone-In Ribeye with Buttered Corn & Green Beans. The ribeye was PERFECT! Ordered it Medium and even though most sections were medium, a few others were medium rare but barely medium rare. I LOVED it!!!! The Green Beans had bacon bits so salting wasn't necessary at all. The ribeye was so large that I was able to take some home so I got to enjoy the steak again the next day. My wife and mother-in-law each ordered the regular ribeye and both said their steaks were juicy and cooked perfectly as well. Their salads took a little longer to come out so they didn't finish them before their steaks were delivered. The booth behind us had 7 children from the families in an adjacent booth. Between the loud noice level and the parents keeping their children under control we barely noticed them. We had not one but two managers check up on us to make sure everything was good. Thank you to the staff (and the app) for a very enjoyable and delicious meal. We will most definitely come back! read more

Long post Today was my 33 birthday and Let me tell y'all something... NEVER in my 33 years of life have I EVER had an experience as bad as the one that I had tonight at a restaurant! We had been baseballing with Oakley since 2pm nonstop.. so I wanted to go to TEXAS ROADHOUSE in Oxford for dinner... my mom, dad, step mom, and step brother joined us. At 6:09 pm, I had called and checked in on the waitlist. At 6:19pm I texted HERE to the waitlist mind you it says 20-30 minute wait. At 6:57pm after watching huge groups go ahead of us (there were 8 of us).. a hostess had come out the door looking for a party that never responded to their text.. so I ask her about where we were on the list.. she "radios" to the desk and magically I get this last text. After standing there for a few minutes.. we are seated. At 7:50pm we ask our waitress about our food.. she comes back and says our ticket is the next to come out.. mind you at this point the table beside us has come in 30 minutes after us and already have their food.. my step brothers food comes out... only his food...then I watch as 8 orders come out the door after that... so a manager walks by.. we asked her (ALLEGRA CHAMPION) about our food and she starts to tell us how rude we are how SHE feels about the situation! Are you kidding me lady! By this point my kids are begging to go home and crying cause they are starving.. so my dad, step mother, mother, Oakley, and my food comes out at 8:14pm. My food is ice cold (no exaggeration) my mothers food is not cooked correctly.. my dad and step mothers is barely warm... now the table beside us has finished, paid, and is leaving... so the manager comes back and I told her that I was not eating my food as it was ice cold.. my mother says the same... she is rude yet again and I ask her WHAT ABOUT MY HUSBAND AND OTHER CHILD'S food?? She has no answers. So I tell her that she has exactly 10 minutes to fix our food and have it all out or we're walking out! This is at 8:18pm.. at 8:28pm we got up and walked out.. Scott and Easton still never got their food.. my mother and I never got fixed food and all the while the manager wanted to act like we were the problem! This is insane.. so I had to run through a drive thru to get Easton some food.. scott and I didn't even eat dinner because we had to get home and whip the kids down and get them to bed.. TEXAS ROADHOUSE should be ashamed of themselves! This is the world we are living in people.. it's sad! Side note: our waitress was wonderful and did nothing wrong here! Today is January 08, 2023, if I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. I called the restaurant at 1230pm to make a reservation for 130pm. Finally at 230pm we made it until the restaurant, which is understandable it's a Sunday. Once we finally get to our table with a party of 15 we get there only to wait another 10 minutes for someone to come sweep the floor and to clean a table. Finally a bus boy comes out to sweep the floor. As he is sweeping a member of the party is discussing with other member their disdain. We then ask the bus boy can we switch tables to better accommodate our table. His immediate response was no. We then asked to speak to a manager at which point an argument between the bus boy and member of my party ensue. A manager finally comes out and informs us it is okay to switch tables. Mind you we are still waiting for one of the original tables to be cleaned. Another bus boy comes out and looks me right in my eyes as I'm waiting for my table to be cleaned so I can sit and he begins cleaning an empty table across from mean. I then had to ask him to clean our table so we could sit at which point he states "I don't even know what's going on". One would think this was common sense. Finally my whole party is seated. The comes along the Service Manger AUSTIN GREEN. In front of everyone in a rude manner asked one of the members of my party to leave and informed her they weren't serving her, stating she cursed the bus boy out which she never did. I then asked him were he going to get both sides of the story at which point he continued being very rude and dismissive. We then informed him due to the way he handled the entire situation we would take our business else where. He stated, " that's fine have a nice day as he walked away". How embarrassing is this whole encounter. I then approached him and asked who is boss was which he told me. I then asked was his boss in the restaurant he stated yes. I then asked could I speak with her and he stated "no, she isn't going to come out and speak with you" i the ask can you at least go ask and this man refused. How unprofessional is that. I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. I was completely appalled at this entire interaction. I do not recommend this location customer service, professionalism, and hospitality should be a manger's primary objective and that was not display by AUSTIN GREEN and I guess that mindset and behavior is acceptable which is why their staff I.E. the bus boy acted in the same manner. Oh and so we are clear my entire group was African Americans and Bi-racial all involved parties from the staff who we had issues with were Caucasian. I went back the 3 days later (because I didn't win Thursday's lottery) and it was TERRIBLE. I sat at the bar with my GF. We ordered the same exact Ribeye and you'd thought we were at the Wafflehouse. Thin and way over cooked. It was awful. So disappointing. I showed the waitress at the bar what it looked like and that it was disappointing and looked nothing like the previous visit 3 days earlier. Let me start by saying this is the only Texas road house even remotely close to us and my son loves Texas Roadhouse we have bin to them all over the country and this is by far the worst one we have EVER bin to the last 4 times we have bin here (we only keep coming hoping it will get better and am always disappointed!) our order is never right u order a rare steak and get well or for some other reason will have to remake something and then every time someone is left with out there food while everyone eats which I HATE and never offer a discount or anything for the inconvenience the servers r always really nice but management could do a way better job read more
