Everything here was delightful. We accidentally walked into the wrong door and were still greeted warmly and sat quickly. Our server made great suggestions and the food was amazing. I had the wild mushroom ravioli with Alfredo sauce, and panna cotta for dessert. The panna cotta alone is worth traveling back to visit and eat here again! The bread is absolutely mouth-watering with the virgin oil drizzle it comes with, as well as the mozzarella sticks and calamari. My name is Kathy. I came in on April 17. The food was amazing. We had the Caprese salad, and a grilled chicken Caesar salad. Our server was a brown headed young lady. The food and the server was great however, we stopped in for a quick lunch and the only thing that we heard while we were eating was the manager on duty gossiping about other employees. I find it very unprofessional to speak the way that she spoke, including cussing multiple times. It actually completely ruined our lunch. I've went back-and-forth about even writing a review, I just wanted to pay my tab And leave at this point, but I will not be back because I refuse to listen to someone degrade her employees and carry on cussing and fussing the way that she was really hope that somebody sees this that can actually train her better or teach her how to properly run a restaurant. Edina's was alright. The waitress was new but very nice in owning everything. The fried artichoke hearts were really good but the VooDoo Pasta, that everyone told me about/to get, didn't hold up to the hype. It tasted as if the chef opened the salt and didn't know when to close it. I thought maybe I was over reacting (which with food I never do, lol) but when I had the table try it - they couldn't eat more than one bite. Also, it was a VERY SMALL amount for the cost. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious!!!! We had Calamari, Cheese Bread (imagine the cheese bread from Little Ceasar's but somehow WAY better), Caprese Salad & the Filet Tips over noodles. The only aspect of the entire experience that I didn't care for was that both the maitre d and our server would direct all questions to me instead of my boyfriend. As a high achieving and somewhat assertive woman, I've become used to taking charge. In an effort to improve my love life, I've read numerous books over the past couple of years (and I've now got an absolutely amazing boyfriend ). A common suggestion in these books is to let your man lead, provide and care for you. Even small things like letting him respond to wait staff, etc can subconsciously make you seem more feminine and attractive. While at the restaurant I gave both physical and verbal clues that I'd like to step back and let him do the talking. Yet, the server continued to speak to me almost like I was the only one at the table. I'm going to chalk it up to wanting to be respectful as I know in rare occasions some insecure women don't like any other women talking to their man. My suggestion is to watch for clues when deciding who is the primary person to direct questions, etc. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we've already talked about eating here again so that we can try more dishes on the menu! read more

My daughter and I came to Anniston to visit the Berman and natural history museums. We were hungry and this came up when I searched. We decided to chance it and were so glad that we did. She originally wanted pizza but after talking to Chelsea, our server, about the voodoo pasta, she decided to go with that instead. She said it was the best choice and was glad she tried something different. It had plenty of sauce with shrimp, sausage, and chicken. I got sweet tea (amazingly perfect, which is rare in a restaurant bc it's always a gamble and I'm picky) and a Caesar salad. The salad was a little peppery for my liking but the croutons were really delish. The menu said they were homemade. However, I would prob try the Greek or chef salad next time. Our server was phenomenal. She offered bread while we waited on our food. It was so good. We will definitely come back to try some other items! read more

The food here is so good but the service is absolutely horrible! The Caesar salad is delicious and not over dressed and the croutons are the perfect size and taste fresh and crunchy. My issue is if you order a pasta dish and you want parm cheese they charge you for cheese which doesn't make sense. The wait staff doesn't smile and this place is not really kid friendly. The dirty looks we got towards are kids was unnecessary. It took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge our table and then another 15 minutes just for our drinks, water.
