Food taste is really good. I ordered dry lemon pepper wings. My only complaint is that for an order of 10 wings and chips, I only received a small cup (1/2 full) of ranch. I would've asked for more but had no clue that I would only get 1 cup when I placed order. It took about 20-25 to get my order, which is not terrible and means they cook to order. Before accepting my payment, they should tell you this. If I don't have that time (which I really didn't), I'm now trapped because you have my money and I could've altered order or went somewhere else read more

I wasn't impressed by the Coop. In fact I was pretty disappointed. First off know this establishment isn't a quick drive thru even though that's what this restaurant is. If you pull up and order at the window you'll be advised of a 20 minute wait and two pull around. I got the wings with the original sauce. I wasn't impressed by the quality of chicken or the flavor. I get to the restaurant and they pull me around to the second window and I sit in the drive-through for an hour and a half before anybody even talks to me again. Turns out my order has been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long because they didn't write the word paid on it. if anybody had opened the window and bothered to check, then they could have sorted this out before my food got cold. I told the guy at the window that I was upset and I had been waiting a very long time and he did apologize and offered to recoup the food but at that point I just wanted to go ahead and get home. On numerous occasions, I've been told my order will be ready in 5-10 minute time frame. 30 minutes later I'm receiving my food with a no apology or clearly not sincere. Not to mention the crazy overpricing. It's almost not worth the food because the fries are always over cooked. The ranch sauce is so small compared to the size of the wings. The staff is no better as they clearly don't want to be there. I don't blame them as I've worked in fast food, but I would at least still put on a facade for the customer. I don't know where to begin with this place. Probably the best thing about Coop De Ville would be the amount of food that you get for your money. I spent like 10 bucks on 4 really big chicken tenders, and some fries loaded down with bacon, cheese, and ranch. I got the tenders covered with the garlic Romano ranch sauce, but pretty much every sauce they have there is really good. It's enough food for you to eat for DAYS. However, If you are a health nut, I wouldn't suggest going here. It's pretty greasy. But it's some good food if you're just wanting to Chow down. Oh and they have funnel cakes! Drive through only, so I recommend calling your order in before you go so that you don't have to wait as long. read more

I love unique little places like these! I'm really impressed with the variety of wing flavors. The cashier had a good attitude and was helpful. She told us to pull over to the window on the opposite side to wait for our order, and it took about 20 minutes to receive it. I ordered a 12-piece lemon pepper wing combo with fries and an Orange Fanta. The lemon pepper wings were something else. It's no surprise that this is mentioned in almost every other review because they are wonderful. They are pretty generous with how much lemon they use, so be ready for sourness! The fries are also delicious, and probably some of the best fries I've had in general. They compliment the wings so well, and they are very flavorful on their own. As for my Orange Fanta, they put the can in the bag which made it a little greasy, so I hope maybe they can improve on that. The restaurant itself is drive-thru only, but there is a small area in the front for sitting to eat. It's rather poorly lit at night, so I had no clue it was open at this time until I found its Yelp entry. I can tell the restaurant could use a fix-up, but this did not affect the quality of our food. To sum it up, I've said many times that the local hole-in-the-wall type places have such delicious food, and Coop DeVille further supports my belief of that. read more

Now I am hooked as they have very good food in the form of chicken wings and chicken tender sandwiches. These are the two things I usually order. This place is a must-eat location in Jacksonville. It caught on fire a year ago and had to be completely rebuilt. It looks great, it looks clean, and the staff is very friendly. First and last time I'll be supporting this small business. Employees were by far the rudest people I have ever held a conversation with. They look like they would rather be anywhere else but at work. She gives us our total and we nicely questioned it because it was a significant amount over what we had expected after reading the menu. Well turns out she gave us an old menu and since then their prices have inflated. So we said "okay that's fine". Pull to a parking spot and wait on our food. A guy brings the food out and when my fiancé says "we didn't get our two drinks" the smart aleck says "sure you did" and walks off. The can drinks were upside down & tied in the bag. Later, I walk back up to the window, with money in hand, to get extra ranch since they provide only one 2oz. cup with an 18 ct. The girl didn't say a word to me throughout the whole transaction. I usually get hot, medium or bacon cheddar, but the other flavors are just as amazing. The wings are always hot & made to order. They are huge-not skinny little baby wings. Their apps & sandwiches are great too! Potato skins & southwestern egg rolls are good. They have delivery or pickup. I don't live nearby for delivery, but I make the drive willingly for these wings! Being from UpState NY home of the Chicken wing World I have to say that the Coop always has some of the best wings out there no matter where you are and trust me I have had millions lol. Always cooked thru and yet not dry and I love their options on sauces and how well they sauce the Wings and Tenders. Let me say the Tenders are huge and seam like flattened Whole Chicken breasts that's how large they are but nice n thin so they cook just right. Also it seams like no matter how many of what you order there usually seams to be extra's in the box when we get home(Very nice no matter why lol).Being manly a drive up business we have never really experienced any issues with getting orders when we call ahead.All in all by far one of my most favorite wing places in the South but also understand in the WING WORLD everyone has their own little favorites so what I love you may not (of course I am the pro Hahahaha ).
