It was a Saturday and it was pretty busy. We used their online waitlist system which was great! I submitted our size of our party and we got an estimated wait time of 10 minutes which was spot-on. The decor was pretty standard- neon lights with a cabin-like feel. The food was exactly would you would expect from a place like this. Nothing fancy, but still good. The service was what surprised me. Kendall was our server and she was very pleasant. She was attentive and very upbeat despite being super busy. Took awhile just to get sweet and low for my tea but Alex was quite busy. No real interaction with Alex other than my order. Not fond of sitting at the bar but it was one way of bypassing the line. I go to Texas Roadhouse a lot and have always had an excellent service, but today was a different story. We had a large party (9) so I do have to say I appreciated being seated right away, however we would have happily waited in order for our party to be seated together as I was told earlier over the phone instead of two separate tables; this should have been discussed prior to seating. There was a lot of staff working up front creating a bit of a traffic jam there and we didn't feel that we were getting great communication as they were more involved with their own conversation than addressing the customers with helpful information. Our waiter was Brad, bless his heart he seemed a bit overwhelmed. He was very polite but forgot a few things and didn't know the menu/food prep specifics very well. One of our members was allergic to gluten and dairy, we had an extensive 20-minute conversation about options during which he had to make several trips to the kitchen to ask, after which she was still served a butter dollop on top of her meal as well as a side of garlic butter despite her meal being marked "dairy allergy". This is, unfortunately, absolute negligence. Thank you for not charging her for her meal, but the experience overall was quite unpleasant. Additional items would include music too loud we couldn't hear each other at the same table much less having our party split between two tables, as well as my steak order for medium rare was received medium and another well done burger order was received medium rare. Also, they were out of prime rib by 5pm, seems a bit early to be out of something on a busy weekend day. Recommendations: 1. Train hostess staff to place priority on the guest and offer clear, informative communication and direction. Let customers know "Let me check on that, I'll be right back with you" or let a group know if they'll need to be split up to be seated or give them the option to wait for a full table. Communication to the guest is always with humble politeness, never sarcastic attitude. 2. Turn down the music just a tad so your guests may socialize with one another. 3. Wait staff should be provided a reference sheet for ingredients, prep details, and allergies. When an allergy is listed and known, there should be a better system for all hands involved to be informed and have an understanding of the impact. read more

Imagine this, you walk into a fun, vibrant restaurant. Music is playing, (Obviously your favorite song) You hear the constant chanting and cheering for the football on the screen. You look at the menu and at the top of it, it says. "Welcome to Texas Roadhouse!" That's what Texas Roadhouse is like. You may be thinking, "Why are you telling me this?" When I went there with my Dad, we had so much fun! The food was spectacular, but I'll get to that later. I want to share that experience with you guys! Now, enough yapping, let's get to the food! I got the ribs, with mac and cheese, along with smoked veggies. And let me tell you, this meal was AMAZING! The ribs had the perfect amount of sauce on them. The tenderness of the crisp top, mmm! See what I mean though, just think about this. I'm having fun just thinking about it! Now imagine how much fun you'll have! Anyway, back to the food. What was amazing about this place was the fresh food and ingredients. As soon as you walk in you can see the fresh meat, (Chicken, Steak, and more!) The steamed veggies were all right. And maybe that's just coming from a picky eater who won't eat anything green but, they were good. Now let me tell you, the chocolate milk was GREAT! Now one thing I also LOVED about this place was the environment. They had fun little animals on the walls, some fake, like the Rabbit with antlers! They also had a huge deer, but enough with the animals. The paintings also were nice, and there was a huge painting of the 3 triangle buildings which was cool, (The Texas Roadhouse was right next to them) I also enjoyed the seating, but what we got was weird. You see, we got a table for 8 when it was just me and my dad. And What is even weirder is right next to us, there was a table for 2! So my dad was like "We can sit over there" and the lady was like, "No, it's okay!" In conclusion, Texas Roadhouse is like Jon Krakauer's legendary words and storytelling in Into Thin Air. The food was really great at the restaurant but the service was not the best from the waitress. While there the waitress didn't come and check on us much until it was time for us to go. At the beginning she did the bare minimum came and took our order for food and drinks. We never received any rolls from her. Instead we had to ask another server for it. When the server brought the bill we told her it was wrong so she changed it but it was still wrong. Her response to us was not very nice. The booths really separated us from others. Everyone was wearing their masks. The booths were roomy so there's comfort. We were able to eat and talk without our masks which was great. The employees were heart warming with their welcomes. It was crowded just to get in through several large groups. We didn't have to wait as they moved people in twos to their booths. You can reserve online - we waited with a packed waiting area for 2 minutes- def the way to go! The bread and cinnamon butter was a fantastic memory! If you like steak, it certainly will satisfy you. The side dishes are Caesar salad and sweet potato. Sweet potato is good, the salad is average. I had 10oz ribeye and shrimp combo. The ribeye is good too, just not as tender as the bone-in ribeye. The shrimps are tasty and a bit spicy, so good! I go to Texas Roadhouse all the time, and this by far has been the absolute worst one. As far as the cooks they did a good job with the food. The service however was TERRIBLE. People who got sat after us got served before us. The bathrooms were flooded with toilet paper and it smelled horrible. The employees were also in the bathroom taking up 2 out of the three stalls and they were just sitting there. They probably were in there for five minutes while people were waiting and they immediately left didn't flush a toilet or wash their hands. Our hostess "amber" ignored our requests, came over multiple times to the table and scooted my boyfriend's chair in the table when he went to the bathroom.
