Battered Cod Fish and Chips
Chyenne A.

I've ordered pickup and delivery several times because this place has the menu items I love when I need quick comfort food... wings, loaded fries, cheese sticks, nachos, etc. It meets my immediate needs, but always leaves me a bit disappointed. The food costs just a bit too much and for just not enough. Today was probably my last order from here... I ordered the fish and loaded fries, with a side of mozzarella sticks. Spent $19 (that doesn't include a drink) for ONE piece of fish, a handful of fries, and five cheese sticks. I eat out constantly and don't mind paying for great food, or atleast generous portions. Unfortunately, this place has repeatedly failed to meet any of my basic requirements. :(

Buffalo Chicken Wrap and tater tots

Though I have been to this Wings Etc location many times over the last five years for work lunches & really enjoyed it, I can't say this visit was pleasurable at all. My friend and I came into the dining side and stood there waiting to be seated for over eight awkward minutes. We saw staff deliver food to the other three tables but did not acknowledge us. I finally had to stop another staff member who was cleaning a table to ask to be seated. The waitress was friendly, took our order (traditional BBQ wings, onion rings, and I got the mild Buffalo chicken wrap), and we waited for quite a while for our food. When it came, I noticed the chicken in my wrap had no sauce: the kitchen had not put any buffalo sauce on it. But again, the waitress or staff did not stick around or come by to check on us so I ate my side of tater tots while I waited to get it corrected. By the time she came, it was time for us to go so I asked for our check and a side of the sauce to go. Note: the wrap was very dry and not anything like I remembered in the past. Would not order again. Very frustrating service experience. Perhaps next time we can stop in on the bar side after hours and try it out the service there.

I live in fishers and I since I had not eaten at wings etc before, I drove down to noblesville. The wings were ok and we a few different flavors. The dine in and service experience at this location was good. Won't be my first or my second choice the next time I want to eat chicken wings.

It's a good place to go when you have a bigger group of people. When my family (8-10 of us) go we always get a table right away.

I've always had a friendly server while eating here. I usually get the boneless wings, and they've always been good!

We sat in the inside dining area, but there is also seating on the patio and at the bar. Sports and beer decor cover the walls. Michaela, our server, was super friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. Michaela kept our glasses full. The breaded tenderloins are large and served on a fresh toasted sesame seed bun. The breading tastes flavorful and pork is freshly prepared. The sandwich was served with a dijonaise sauce and lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. The kettle style potato chips were delicious as well. Not amazing in the attention, but prompt in tending to our initiated requests. Indoors is still a sensory overload between the massive amount of screens and music playing over the speakers. Shrimp and fish tacos both seem to be winning options on the menu for flavor, appearance, and quantity. They changed the side option for these items from waffle fries to chips & a condiment-sized cup of queso. I also enjoy their Crawfish Étouffée as well as their Cheddar Grits for some non-fried options. Wish they leaned more into the soup/stew/rice options on their menu as beyond the Étouffée they only have Red Beans and Chicken & Sausage Gumbo. Some black-eyed pea jambalaya would be a nice add.

Our waitress was great! Extra friendly and helpful. We started with the loaded waffle fries. I forgot to get a photo, but they were delicious. They stayed warm, the cheese was gooey, and just enough banana peppers. The location is great and I love that there are so many TVs inside. For our meals, we had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, the Cajundillas and the Boom Boom Shrimp tacos. Everything is full of flavor. Good portion sizes. The chicken sandwich had two huge pieces of chicken on it. We also had a hush puppies and they were delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are passing through.

Great atmosphere--sitting on the upper level gave off subtle speakeasy vibes…read more We started with the Public House Nachos with steak (definitely get the steak!), alongside the Georgia Peach and Tiger Tea cocktails. The nachos were easily the best nacho appetizer we've had in a long time. The drinks? No notes. Both were a 10/10--incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced. For dinner, we had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and Mongolian Beef. Finally, a Nashville hot chicken sandwich that wasn't dry! It had the perfect balance of heat and flavor. The Mongolian Beef was just as exceptional, loaded with tender filet medallions, soba noodles, bell peppers, and mushrooms. To top it all off, Aiden provided genuine 6-star service throughout our meal. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were loyal customers of Grindstone Public House for six years, going every single…read moreweekend without missing one--more than 300 weekends. Last Christmas alone, I purchased $1,000 in Grindstone gift cards, and we've routinely tipped the bartenders 30-40% because the bar staff has always treated us extremely well. Unfortunately, after six years, that relationship has come to an end. We had brought Grindstone three cocktail recipes we enjoy--two from a favorite restaurant in Illinois and one based on the Liquid Love Affair from 1933 Lounge in Fishers. Management eventually created a special POS button for our cocktails and charged $10.50 each. We were recently informed that ownership had decided to increase those drinks to $15 each--a 43% increase overnight. I understand prices increase. Had they gone to $11 or $12, I wouldn't have thought twice about it. What I found unreasonable was charging $15--the same price as Grindstone's signature cocktails--for recipes we supplied ourselves. One of those drinks is based on the Liquid Love Affair from 1933 Lounge. I can literally walk from my house to 1933 Lounge and purchase the actual cocktail for $15. Why would I drive 20 minutes to Noblesville and pay the same price for Grindstone's version? We were also told a dirty martini at Grindstone is $13. This wasn't about being unable to afford another $4.50. Someone buying $1,000 in gift cards and tipping 30-40% isn't being financially devastated by a few dollars. It was about how six years of loyalty was treated. What happened afterward was equally disappointing. After I posted reviews elsewhere describing our experience, Grindstone publicly responded, acknowledged our six years and 300+ weekends of loyalty, specifically acknowledged the 43% increase, and asked me to email management so we could have a "meaningful conversation" and they could have the opportunity to "make this right." I did exactly what they asked. Three days later, I had received no response, and Grindstone had deleted its public response asking me to contact management. I retained a screenshot of that response. The bartenders deserve none of the criticism here. They've always treated us wonderfully, and they're the part of Grindstone we'll genuinely miss. There are simply too many locally owned restaurants and bars whose owners work hard to earn and retain loyal customers. Another local restaurant owner has already gone out of his way to stock the liquor necessary to make our cocktails and charges $12 for them. Grindstone didn't lose two six-year customers because we couldn't afford another $4.50. They lost two six-year customers because of how six years of loyalty was handled--and unfortunately, management's response afterward only reinforced our decision.

Turns out the entire heated patio is first come, first served, and we were seated almost immediately. It was one of those windy Indiana afternoons where the cold finds every gap in your jacket. I fully expected to spend lunch shivering. Somehow, the heated patio felt warmer than the restaurant itself. Between the TVs, football on every screen, and the patio heaters, we had zero complaints. Now let's talk about the famous pepperoni-stuffed breadsticks. They're a must. And order your own nacho cheese. Seriously. Don't expect anyone to share. I could eat a shoe dipped in their cheese and probably enjoy every bite. The breadsticks always arrive piping hot, stuffed with gooey mozzarella, and if we're judging on a cheese-pull scale...I'm giving them a solid 7/10 on the stretch meter. As for our server, Zach...what a true gem. He's one of those people I'd honestly be surprised to hear anyone say they didn't like. Funny, quick with the jokes, and somehow kept up with the chaos without missing a beat. He also made sure my lemon drop martinis never had a chance to get lonely. Since I wasn't driving, he happily assisted me in...staying hydrated. The place was busy enough that we couldn't stand around chatting long, but he's the kind of person you'd genuinely enjoy running into again. We've been here twice now, and both visits have been consistently great. Whether you're stopping in to catch the game, escape the cold on the heated patio, or simply satisfy a craving for those ridiculously good breadsticks, Ale Emporium continues to be one of our favorite spots. Just don't skip the breadsticks...and trust me, order your own cheese. You'll understand after the first bite.
