Went during a Friday night it was packed and lively. We got seated within 10min of arrival. Our server was very friendly and personable. She took great care of us. Haven't been in years and the food was banging. The New York strip medium rare was top tier. I inhaled the seasoned rice and Mac n cheese and wondered where it went!

I came back again to Texas Roadhouse tonight and I have yet to be disappointed! They had Christmas decorations all around inside which was pretty cute. Our waitress, Miss April was very kind and attentive to us the whole time. For appetizers, we got their Cactus Blossom which is just Fried Onion Rings shaped like a cactus blossom ($7.99) and their Fried Pickles like last time ($7.99). Even though the Cactus Blossom was huge in size, we weren't big fans of it compared to their Fried Pickles. We got their Fort Worth Ribeye like last time but 16 oz instead of 14 oz with 2 sides of Buttered Corn & Loaded Mashed Potatoes ($27.99 + 1.29 for the Loaded Mashed Potatoes). Delicious! Everything was perfect like last time. We also got their 18 oz Mango Margarita with sugar on the rim ($9.25). So good! Their Tropical Breeze Mocktail ($5.00) was okay too, but it was a little sweet for our taste. Overall, Texas Roadhouse has yet to disappoint me. By far my favorite chain restaurant!

Shame on me. Once again, horrible cook. Med well equals cold rare on both steaks. Service was great on a positive note

went on a monday night. the main issue was the SERVICE. our waiter was so rude, rushed us to order, no refills. One time she walked past us and said " Do y'all need anything?" and didn't even stop to finish her sentence, and also didn't stop walking for us to answer ..? it was bad. Like why ask if you're not even gonna give us a chance to respond? the overall cleanliness of the place wasn't too bad, but we were seated next to this armadillo (pictured above) and it was so insanely dirty and filled with dust bunnies.. I know it's just Decor but honestly being seated next to something coated in such a thick layer of grime (it's worse in person) ... TRH if you see this, please dust that thing.

This is a chain, but I still love Texas Roadhouse. Last visit we downed a hurricane margarita and a Jamaican cowboy and enjoyed steak and catfish platters that were perfect for us on our date night.

A great last-minute dining option. We ended up having supper here at Texas roadhouse on a Friday night after we left a nearby carnival. This was a great time to go because there wasn't much of a wait approximately 10 minutes and our serving was incredible today I ate the Caesar salad, and the 12 ounce strip with a loaded potato everything came out fast. Everything was delicious and it was reasonably affordable for a family of three bon appétit

Always amazing service and food!! We need one in Metairie or Kenner this is always one of my favorite places to eat with the family. Service is always on point. Fun family friendly and clean even when jam packed.

Rich, layered, and well-balanced with fresh elements that worked together on the plate. For entrées, we had a variety of cuts, including the Australian Wagyu, ribeye, butcher's cut, and lamb chops. The Wagyu stood out immediately. High quality, great sear, and finished tableside, which added to the overall experience without taking away from the food itself. Each steak was cooked precisely to temperature and full of flavor. The lamb chops paired with carrots and brussels were well executed and balanced. The sides complemented the meal well and did not feel like afterthoughts. You can also see their in-house dry aging setup, which speaks to the level of detail they put into their steak program. It shows in the final product. The drinks were solid across the board. The Old Fashioned and bourbon selections paired well with the meal and matched the food's quality. Service by Noelle was attentive and responsive throughout the night. Everything flowed well, and we were taken care of without feeling rushed or hovered over. This is not a casual dinner spot, but for a celebration or a night where you want a full experience, Doris Metropolitan absolutely delivers.

Overall, the experience was average and did not fully meet those expectations. The charcuterie and cheese board, priced at $68, was underwhelming in both portion size and value. It included only six thin slices of cured meat and a small selection of cheeses. Unfortunately, one of the cheeses had an unpleasant flavor that made it inedible for our table. The bread service was a highlight, offering a nice variety of breads and accompaniments. The ribeye was cooked well and enjoyable, but it did not stand out from what I've experienced at other upscale steakhouses. The five-cheese couscous was the biggest disappointment, as it lacked the rich, flavorful profile its description suggested. While the service and presentation were appreciated, the overall dining experience did not justify the high expectations or the price point.

We got there a little before they opened but since it was raining they let us in and we waited off the side until they officially opened. Let me start by saying the restaurant is gorgeous! The ambience was grown and sexy and definitely gave fine dining. The waitress was pleasant and gave recommendations because I had no idea what to get. We got the bread to start and OMG that bread was delicious! It was buttery, with a honey flavor and 2 spreads to use. I wanted to eat it all but knew I had to eat an actual dish lol. My husband and I shared a small plate-the wagyu tacos. Lets just say I woke up thinking about those tacos I ordered a medium prime rib eye & my husband ordered a medium rare filet. His filet was perfect but my ribeye was overcooked. They made me a new one with no problem & were very apologetic. The new steak was more medium rare than medium but I still ate it and it was good but fatty. We shared the seafood mac & cheese which we both agreed was the best we had ever had. It was a huge portion so we ended up taking some home (didnt last very long after getting home). Lastly, we ordered the praline crème brûlée....another thing I woke up thinking about Im already thinking about the next time! 10 out of 10!

That being said, even though we were wearing casual tourist clothes we felt very welcomed by the staff. We enjoyed our experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was wonderful, the music playing, the staff was incredible as was the food. There was so much to take in as far as interior design. We loved it. We had some sort of steak, a starter and a salad. This was about a week ago, so I don't really remember exactly what we ordered. That being said the next night we tried a different restaurant with great reviews in the same neighborhood. The ambience was great there, but the food did not measure up. Immediately after that meal, we walked back to Morrow Steak to finish our trip on a high note. We shared the cauliflower starter again as well as a dessert this time - which was something I'd never heard of but incredible some sort of cheesecake that was purple. The first night we sat at a table and the second time we sat at the bar - and it was an equally wonderful experience. The bartender was extremely friendly and efficient. Again we were wearing casual clothes. Out of respect to the other patrons, I wish I had packed nicer clothes to wear but don't let this detour you if you didn't pack them. I wish this place was in my home town!

A love letter to Coquette…read more I moved to New Orleans in 2014, for a job I'd been trying to get since 2012, and which resulted in the end of a relationship with someone who had fallen out of love with the city years before. My life has been changed in so many positive ways over the last 12 years, and it all started with Coquette. My first meal out, on my first day of work right after Labor Day was at Coquette for lunch with my ex-boyfriend's law school friend. I don't remember the person's name, and don't think I actually saw him again after that lunch, but I remember the feeling of that fancy, yet understated meal as a warm welcome to the city I now call home. I've gotten incredible fantasy football tips from the bartenders over brunch at the. I've celebrated birthdays and promotions and making in to Thursday with dinners and wine. No matter why I have ended up at Coquette over the years, and with who, it's always ended up being a special experience that is just hard to put into words. Of course when I heard we were nearing the end I immediately made a dinner reservation, and brought my partner, who somehow had never been. We sat at the bar, and ended up running into one of my close friends also getting one last meal at this special spot. We ate like kings and laughed and marveled at how unique this place is, even in a city full of award-winning chefs and beautifully curated restaurants. I'm so sad that this era has come to an end, but so grateful to have had so many great experiences here and that those who brought us this place are embarking on new culinary adventures in the city! Managing a group of this size--split between two rooms of 30 and 60--is no small feat, but the staff and service were fast, efficient, and professional from start to finish. The Turtle Soup was a major talking point for our guests. For many, it was a first-time experience. I personally preferred the deep, savory profile of the soup on its own, but the traditional tableside sherry pour added a unique complexity that made it a must-try for anyone visiting. For the main course, the U.S.D.A. Prime 16 oz Rib-Eye was the star. Serving a large group and getting the temperature right is usually where big events stumble, but these were cooked to a perfect medium-rare across the board. The char and seasoning were phenomenal--there wasn't a single complaint from the table, which says a lot for a group with varied steak preferences. We finished with the Crème Brûlée, which arrived perfectly chilled with that signature, glass-like caramelized sugar crust. Beyond the food, the service was the highlight. The wine was flowing, and the staff did an incredible job managing individualized drink orders for 90 guests without missing a beat. The atmosphere was conversational, loud, and full of laughter--the ideal environment for high-level networking. We were looking for a nice restaurant away from the bar scene of downtown New Orleans. Looking in the window and perusing the menu, we saw a nice steakhouse at nice steakhouse prices. We went in and the hostess was able to seat us right away....but she walked us into the bar area to a high-top table by a window with a view of a TV. This was not the ambience we were looking for and despite being in blue jeans, we could afford anything and everything on the menu. So we asked the server for an actual table in the dining room and she pleasantly agreed to ask for us. The hostess, with as much attitude as she could dish out without actually calling us names, came up and said, "oh, you want a table?" She snatched the menus off the bar table and walked toward the dining room without saying another word. She sat us at an acceptable table and walked away, still oozing attitude. Luckily, Colin approached and quickly spun it around to an absolutely pleasant dining experience. The filet mignon was absolutely delectable! We also had a side of potatoes au gratin, which were pretty good as well. Colin's service was top-notch.

Now I'm sure the hostess is accustom to people bringing in their pets and lying that they're service dogs, so she told me that we had to sit outside. That's obviously illegal, we got the manager involved, the manager quickly understood that we weren't bringing a pet and got us sat inside. We ordered drinks, they took a long time to come out. I asked the grade of the Wagyu on the Manhattan steak, and the server told me it was "6 or 12 or something" Wagyu obviously comes A1-A5, so I asked him to go check. He came back and said it was A5. Not knowing Wagyu grades, and the drinks taking a while was the only place the service was lacking, he was otherwise delightful. $70 bucks seemed kind inexpensive for an A5, but I had never actually had one before so I ordered it medium rare. We ordered the seafood platter, that was fine, the breading on the shrimp was kinda soggy. Main courses comes out, and my medium rare steak was literally back black and blue. It was still cold in the center. I'm not one to send food back, but I couldn't eat it. Sent it back. It comes back quickly... too quickly, still way under cooked. Sent it back a 3rd time. At that point the rest of my family was done eating and I asked for it to just be removed instead. Which they did, and they boxed it up for me anyway in addition to comping all of our drinks, which was of course very nice. I ended up eating that steak for lunch the next day, and IF it was Wagyu, it was A1, there is a 0% chance that had the marbling to be an A5, I've had prime New York's from CostCo that had better marbling. So I give them 2 stars, the server had some learning to do, been there, but was very nice. They made up for their errors on the bill, I appreciate that, but we still went there with higher expectations. 2 stars is kind.
