Grilled Chicken Bites and Mashed Potatoes
Melissa V.

I had a really good experience at Texas Roadhouse of course. So, I wanted to tell my Yelp family all about it I arrived a little early on a Wednesday afternoon because, I knew it would be busy because they have a special going on.The the Greeter was really nice and offered me several times if, I wanted to wait for my guest at a table. That was so thoughtful of her. Later, we were shown our table and at the same time we were shown a table we received our hot fresh rolls! Then our waitress, Emma came by and she was very helpful, understanding and patient. Furthmore, the Manager came by, introduced herself and asked if we needed anything. I also, noticed Texas Roadhouse is managed by a lot of Latinos. So, thankful my people get to work at great place like, Texas Roadhouse. I spoke with the Greeter, while I was waiting for my guest about working there and she said, she does like it there! I ordered the Grilled Chicken Bites and some Mashed Potatoes. The Grilled Chicken chicken Bites were wonderful. They were grilled nicely and they were juicy and tender. The best Grilled Chicken I've ever eaten! My Mashed Potatoes were a really good size. They were tasty with just a little bit of Gravy. Well, head Texas Roadhouse for some fresh rolls, good service and excellent food!

Came for the rolls , anyways. There is plenty of parking just be careful walking into the restaurant it's near an entrance from the service road. Went on a Saturday afternoon was able to get seated fast didn't have to wait at all. The rolls are always fresh and hot! Our server was great and fast. We started with a mocktail and Tater Skins. They came out over cooked. The ends were very hard. Not the best. We shared the chicken fried steak with white gravy, mashed potatoes with green beans, so delicious! Always a pleasure to eat there!

Nothing like trying a chain restaurant in the State that it is named after! I thoroughly enjoyed my first time experience dining at Texas Roadhouse. My server Alyna was such a sweetheart. She told me to come back and see her and I will whenever I travel to Fort Worth, TX. Steak was cooked exactly to my liking. The prices do not hurt the wallet and the steak I had tasted better than some steaks I have paid hundreds of dollars for the exact same cut.

My husband and I went yesterday for Valentines Day. Even though it was crazy packed, the service was still very good. Our waitress was attentive but not in a suffocating way. Didn't wait long to get our food and drinks. Food was good.

We were given cucumber water, complimentary champagne and some cheese risotto bites. I ordered a lemon drop martini and hubby ordered some red wine. I should have asked for no sugar on ten glass because the martini was sweet on its own. The popovers were delicious, just not a fan of the sweet butter if was served with, but that's just our personal preference. We could have asked for regular butter but we were saving for our steak dinners. Hubby got the center cut filet with Mac n cheese and herb butter. I got the surf and turf with herbed butter. Let me tell you the mashed potatoes that came in the surf and turf plate were heavenly! Probably the thing that stood out to us the most was the customer service. From the woman that brought us our water, our server, the manager, and all the servers that help each and every table.... They know what they are doing. I highly recommend to check them out if you are in the area.

I sat on the couch with my laptop, had a light bite and drinks, and it felt easy and casual. Definitely seems like a great spot to pop into for happy hour or a relaxed lunch. They were really good about helping me find an outlet and place to set up. And they didn't rush me out. I sat there for quite a while snacking with an iced tea. Second visit was completely different. Our company rented a downstairs section for 40+ people with a simplified menu, and the space transformed into much more of a high-end, speakeasy-style steakhouse experience. The food was delicious both times and the service was fantastic. My steak at the corporate dinner initially came out overcooked, and I felt bad even mentioning it, but they handled it immediately and the replacement was absolutely perfect. I'd 100% recommend Wicked Butcher for a company dinner or private event. The table service downstairs was impeccable, and it felt special without feeling stuffy.

Let's call the decor Stetson 1,000 X Diamante chic along with a sidekick of Gingham avec plunging decolletage to the Turquoise Belt. This place exudes what makes Texas so American. Ain't no rich like Texas rich all dinin' under two stories of drippin' wealth. It's like Gene Autry bought the Will Rogers Ranch and Dale Evans did the interior decoratin'. Thankfully, you don't have to compete with a loop a Brooks and Dunn at concert volume. The Dining Room is definitley conducive to closing that oil and gas lease deal, takin' a knee and proposing or at least makin' a proposition. Just look at who's in the booth yonder. Angela and Ainsley Norris from Landman along with a bevy of beauties that Father Time hadn't got around to yet. The Staff: An army of Bussers, Runners, and Servers plus several roaming Somms all roundin' up your vittles from a bustling kitchen crankin' out creative dishes worthy of Oil Tycoons and Cattle Ranchers with acreage large enough to be the 51st State. Hudson ran his section like a polite trail boss if there is such a thing. That young man tended to his guests every whim along with making suggestions as needed with confidence and sincerity. He wanted all his patrons to truly enjoy the entire dining experience. He accomplished that with humor and a handle on everything the Kitchen presented on the classy menu. The Bar: First and foremost it's the place to be seen and obscene. It's where the Millionaires wait patiently for the Billionaires to sip the last of their cocktails and sashay to the richly appointed Dining Room where every thing is ready. The Horse Hair bound Menu Book complete with Bull Horns Brand, Silver Saddle Napkin holders holding Napkins with button holes to protect that Robert Graham shirt. Of course there are well made Classics, but ask for a special cocktail not listed on the Signature Cocktail Page and you'll get exactly what you asked for. Isn't that how life should be? The Wine List is as deep as Lake Travis. My Knotty Mane had Novel Cold Brew, Licor 43, and Expressed Orange. It was vibrant and serious. So, after that I asked for a Perfect Pear served in a perfect pear shaped glass. This had Bowie House Private Barrel Balcones Texas Rum, Spiced Pear Liqueur, Lemon-Lime Soda, Lemon Juice, Cinnamon, Turbinado Sugar on the rim and the sturdy straw. Now, don't that sound like somethin' y'all gonna like? Well, it was terrific. Apparently, it wasn't the Apple on the tree in the Garden of Eden, it was the Pear on the cocktail napkin in front of you here that's become a legend. The Food: Italian/French Steakhouse. The first order of business was to order a Crab Cake Louie to ride shotgun with the cocktails. The Crab Cake, as big as half a brick, was a natural born killer with absolutely no filler. Chunks of juicy briny Crab breaded in seasoned crumbs and served with a puddle of Aioli garnished with Oak Leaf Lettuce, Asparagus Coins and Halved Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes. This is what a seafood lover loves to dream about. A Fancy Caesar followed right behind. The Salad had Seasonal Bitter Greens chopped to bite size and laced generously with Toasted Sesame Dressing and a Black Sesame Rice Cracker instead of soggy Croutons. Yep, it was damn fancy and delicious. Time for Chorizo Corn Fritters. Why? Never seen it before so I had to have one or three. Glad I did. There were pretty as a photo shopped Graduation Pic. They came with Spicy Avocado Creme, Smoked Paprika Aioli, and Jalapeno Coins for a kick and some clogged arteries. Hey, it was so good it's was worth a stent or two. Finally, the Halibut Fish Fry came with Nori Hushpuppies, Sweet/Spicy Cucumber Coins, and Kimchee Tartar Sauce. They should offer this by the bucket. The Fish was delicate with just enough time in the sautee pan to remain juicy, flakey and translucent. It was magic. My dinner eclipsed any thoughts about Dessert, so I'll just have to spur the pony and return quick as I can.

Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and inviting ambiance. It was the perfect setting for a family celebration. We started with the Ritz & Dips appetizer, which was a great way to begin our meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Crab Cake Louie, and it was absolutely delicious! We also ordered the Steak & Fries, prepared medium-rare, and shared both dishes. The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly as requested, and both entrées were outstanding. Between the delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and the opportunity to celebrate with family, Bricks and Horses made our afternoon truly enjoyable. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Fort Worth!

Lady who waited on us was very knowledgeable on the steak sauces and rubs. She was also incredibly knowledgeable on their vast bourbon selection. We had a fun time talking about bourbon. We started off with the tuna tartare. I forget the exact name. Said it had sriracha on it but I could barely taste it. Really good and I would not call it spicy. Good portion for 2 people. We were then talked into a getting a rub on our ribeye steaks. We chose the coffee/earthy rub. I think it was Kona rub. Steaks came out just right. Kona rub was good. It didn't dominate the taste buds which was good. We also had the lobster mac and cheese plus the asparagus. I pretty much hate mac and cheese, but this was amazing. Not too "cheesy" tasting if you know what I mean. The lobster was flavorful. This place is pricey but worth it. Bourbon selection alone was worth it.

I said oh yes I suppose I am but I didn't know that was the name of the promotion you used to have although my uncle would always mention it when we came here for dinner and she informed me that they are actually going to start doing the promotion again in September which is basically their house cheeseburger with fries and a glass of wine for like $25. Now that might not sound like a great deal at first but let me tell you this burger was excellent! I will have absolutely no issue paying $25 for this burger with fries and a glass of wine it's totally worth it and I'm really disappointed that it took me this long to come try this awesome Burger as most of you who have read my reviews know that I'm a burger connoisseur and this burger here instantly jumped into my top five in DFW probably top three. I will say we atleast liked the atmosphere and ambiance better at 1845 than we did at Rustico. But it was more of the same- incredibly overpriced BLAND food. Not at all worth the price you're paying, severely lacking in flavor, and takes waaaaay Too long to be delivered to your table after ordering. We started with the Texas Trio and we did enjoy that. It is kind of hard to mess up queso, salsa and pimento cheese- however we did say that was one thing we would eat again and was worth its value. My husband and other son bothe ordered cheeseburgers at $22 a pop and both said the burger they get at local pint was a million times better and a lil cheaper. I got the smothered chicken and It was very disappointing! The chicken was so bland it was like a notch above school cafeteria food (seriously) I swapped the rice for mashed potatoes and they were good (not great but good) and the Brussels sprouts which were really tasty but VERY small Portion for price. I've eaten at incredibly high end steak places that charge the same For a side of sprouts and give you more than double what I got tonight at 1845. The birthday boy got a strip steak and potatoes and he gave each of us a bite. $49 for this steak- a good size- but NO FLAVOR at all. Last but certainly not least- our server was nice enough and attentive HOWEVER he had on the Meta glasses that record people and that made our entire table very uncomfortable. My son said he had seen tik tok accounts where waiters record their patrons and post it! (Not saying he was but it definitely changed the atmosphere of our dinner) He also seemed notably disappointed and different after we didn't order the $49 appetizer and no alcohol. Visible mood shift but he did remain professional. All in all, we are baffled by the good reviews. And very very surprised at the quality of product and price point considering Marty Bs coffee has AMAZING food quality and pricing and so does the restaurant, just doesn't seem to be translating to the other establishments. :-(
