Brisket - we didn't get a fatty piece which I liked because it allowed me to not get full easily Sichuan Lamb Ribs - softest lamb I have ever had (that wasn't in a curry) and the rub on it was not only the perfect amount but a perfect blend Tandoori Turkey - this was really moist and not spicy, great choice for those who do not like red meat Seekh Kabob Sausage - the casing was well done and the flavor profile wasn't overpowering, sometimes desi spices can overtake the meat and that was not the case here (no pun intended) Kochumber salad - well seasoned and I am so glad it is on the menu because you need a fresh element to palate cleanse and cut through bbq fat They open at 11am and the line started forming 10:30am, it moves at a good pace. The sun was blazing, the line was growing, and I wasn't about to be left holding nothing but a napkin this time. Pitmaster Zain Shafi runs this blue trailer like a flavor command center. The smell hit me halfway through the line and had me grinning like a kid at the state fair. I made my move when it was my turn, and if you know me, you know lamb is my kryptonite. I ordered the Sichuan Lamb Ribs, then couldn't stop myself from adding brisket and Tandoori Turkey. The sides? Kachumber Salad and Daal Chawaal, because even Uncle Sean needs balance in life. Fantastic food, service and location. Easy to park, so many nice food trucks (especially this one), fun events every month, and the people are lovely! Will be back here, especially for that mango lassi this summer. There is often live music on the nearby stage and plenty of benches and tables to sit and enjoy your meal. Our faves were the lamb rib (so rich!), brisket, and kachumbar. Honorable mentions are the bbq sauce, turkey (which we had last time and was amazing but is not pictured here) and daal - so cool to be able to have this kind of access to nostalgic and sentimental flavors I grew up eating but with a Texan twist. Went looking for this food truck after someone told me about it..., well worth the time! Was able to try a variety of items on the menu. The Burnt End Nihari bowl was quite surprising. Just the right hint of Nihari flavors came through. The meat was perfectly tender. The Sichuan lamb chops were perfectly done and the meat simply fell off the bone. Yep, found this place by Texas Monthly 2025. So much worth it. Got there about 10ish 3rd in line. They are friendly outgoing, more so than so many other places you could go. Brisket some of the most flavorful and well smoked, falling apart tender. Lamb ribs, highly recommend to anyone. You would be hard pressed to ever think your eating anything other than beef. Turkey, well holy smoke Batman, it is just wonderfully done, tender and moist. Finally the sausage, It's moist, flavorful a nice change from jalapeno/cheddar. I have found some have put a twist onto Texas BBQ with their heritage that one has to appreciate. Yogurt mint sauce did not try my wife liked it but a bit runny. Went to visit on a Sunday around noon. Wasn't sure if they would be open, but I spotted the blue trailer in the food park area and I'm glad I stopped and gave it a try. The staff was really friendly and even gave me a slice of brisket to try while taking my order. The brisket was moist and flavorful, but I had already decided on the nihari. I'm not an expert on Pakistani food, but I thought the nihari and daal flavors were great and it's just nice to have an option without traveling to the other side of the metroplex. The meal was served with naan and some pickled onions and yogurt sauce. I didn't ask if the meat was halal so not sure on that. I would definitely go back to try some of the other options. read more

Was exploring Southside for the first time and noticed a food truck with a Pakistani flag - couldn't resist checking it out. Extremely glad I did. They're only open once a week for a short amount of time, so it's well advised to get there early. Certain items seem to disappear fast, so it may be a slight roll of the dice for what you're able to get - but it's all the more reason to come back and try new things. Split a 2 meat plate with my fellow - lamb ribs and brisket. I honestly have always hated lamb - have tried it many times at many places (and always disappointed) - but the lamb ribs here were actually great. Can finally say that I like lamb for the first time. Bark on the brisket was delicious and the portion was a good mix of a slice of lean & moist. The sauces went well with the meats; gave me an idea for using chili crisp in a few of my own sauce recipes. Today we stumbled upon Sabar BBQ in ft worth. It is a small food truck serving bbq with pakistani fusion. We got there at 10:50 and there was already a line, which was promising. We were in line for about thirty minutes before we got to the front. They gave us a brisket sample, and I knew we were in for a treat. Just the sample of brisket was melting in my mouth and was absolutely delightful. The team took time to explain the sauces and sides to us. We ordered 2, 2 meat and side plates. We got brisket and turkey on each. For the sides we got fruit chatt and the cucumber salad. The brisket was so good. The turkey had tandoori seasoning and was also incredible. The sides were so good as well. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate. In addition to this, each plate came with naan.
