We drive over 50 miles to try Sabar. MAN, IT WAS WORTH IT! The brisket was SUPER JUICY and VERY FLAVORFUL The lamb ribs were also wonderful. First time eating lamb ribs like this. Enjoyed it. The turkey was very juicy too. STRONGLY recommend it

They open 4 hours on 2 days and ran out of food in 3 hours. To me its not good food but short sightedness that created that problem. Drove 45 minutes to be told they have NOTHING!!!I could understand you sold out an item but NOTHING available!!! Wow. I believe he is the owner - said we usually run out in 2 hours - then please update operating hours in google etc to reflect that!!

Absolutely amazing BBQ plate. I love the spots that are marrying TX BBQ with other cultures, and this Pakistani slant is a winner!

Yep, found this place by Texas Monthly 2025. So much worth it. Got there about 10ish 3rd in line. They are friendly outgoing, more so than so many other places you could go. Brisket some of the most flavorful and well smoked, falling apart tender. Lamb ribs, highly recommend to anyone. You would be hard pressed to ever think your eating anything other than beef. Turkey, well holy smoke Batman, it is just wonderfully done, tender and moist. Finally the sausage, It's moist, flavorful a nice change from jalapeno/cheddar. I have found some have put a twist onto Texas BBQ with their heritage that one has to appreciate. Yogurt mint sauce did not try my wife liked it but a bit runny. The red sauce, put some of that on the brisket wrapped in a naan, WONDERFUL. Atmosphere, it's a food truck your sitting outside, hence 4 stars on a Texas day.

    Nihari, daal and fruit

Went to visit on a Sunday around noon. Wasn't sure if they would be open, but I spotted the blue trailer in the food park area and I'm glad I stopped and gave it a try. The staff was really friendly and even gave me a slice of brisket to try while taking my order. The brisket was moist and flavorful, but I had already decided on the nihari. I'm not an expert on Pakistani food, but I thought the nihari and daal flavors were great and it's just nice to have an option without traveling to the other side of the metroplex. The meal was served with naan and some pickled onions and yogurt sauce. I didn't ask if the meat was halal so not sure on that. I would definitely go back to try some of the other options.

Wow! Amazing food, great people. I went after closing and one of the workers was nice enough to give a plate of their new menu item. The meat was soooo tender and juicy. Naan and their sauces were on point. Amazing people, highly recommend! A true gem in Fort Worth!

Was exploring Southside for the first time and noticed a food truck with a Pakistani flag - couldn't resist checking it out. Extremely glad I did. They're only open once a week for a short amount of time, so it's well advised to get there early. Certain items seem to disappear fast, so it may be a slight roll of the dice for what you're able to get - but it's all the more reason to come back and try new things. Split a 2 meat plate with my fellow - lamb ribs and brisket. I honestly have always hated lamb - have tried it many times at many places (and always disappointed) - but the lamb ribs here were actually great. Can finally say that I like lamb for the first time. Bark on the brisket was delicious and the portion was a good mix of a slice of lean & moist. The sauces went well with the meats; gave me an idea for using chili crisp in a few of my own sauce recipes. Definitely planning on coming back soon to attempt to try the burnt ends nihari.

WOW!The brisket was absolutely incredible, the lamb ribs were amazing and the tandoori turkey was delicious. The Pakistani influenced sides and sauces are such a perfect pairing with the bbq, and the PEOPLE! The people are so kind and welcoming. 10/10 recommendation must visit, and keep coming back!

The service was spot on, the ambiance was amazing AND THE FOOD OMGGGG. I had the brisket and lamb ribs and let me tell you a review is not enough. I can rest in peace now.

But boy, did they walk into a situation that really required 2 to 3 food trucks, and they were the only one... The line was long and the wait was longer, but I can't really fault them for that. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

The explanation given that the system "couldn't handle the wind" is deeply concerning. If awnings advertised and installed for cold weather cannot be safely used in windy conditions, that is a serious operational and safety issue that should be addressed before guests are seated underneath them. Instead, customers were left exposed, freezing, and ignored. What made this worse was not the weather, but the complete lack of accountability or alternative solutions. No effort to relocate guests, no escalation to management, just repeated refusal. This reflects poor planning and even worse customer care. Management should take this seriously. I would expect someone to reach out, because this experience alone is enough to keep us and others from returning.

"The Gastro Bomber is serving up traditional pub grub with a Texas twist and the customary pub…read moreculture...good music and friendly conversation!" - From GB's FB page. So yesterday (10/3/2012) Keller had it's first pop-up food truck event. I was very happy to catch wind of it, for I'm usually late to the party when it comes to events. In attendance were Gastro Bomber and So-Cal Tacos (http://www.yelp.com/biz/so-cal-tacos-fort-worth). My plan was to order something from each truck, one as a way to show support, and two, well because I'm a glutton and wanted to try both. I looked over both menus and came to a decision. From GB it was going to be the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. I've been wanting C&Ws forever, from anywhere, and tonight was finally my night to try this item. The first thing to point out is it was not really a "sandwich" unless you want to stretch it and call it an open-faced sandwich. Second, it was not a full-sized waffle, but rather something rectangular. It consisted of three pieces of boneless chicken and a drizzle of maple syrup. Cost, $8. It was very good. The chicken was tender and the waffle delicious. What I noticed, and confirmed, is that there is corn meal in the waffle batter. I was told this is the Southern twist they like to add to there food. It was like Belgian cornbread. Yummy! Now I will add my wife's comment, which seem to be true of all food trucks, is that the cost to quantity ratio seems to be a little high. Three large tenders on essentially half a waffle for 8 bucks seems a bit much. Now I came up with a new take on the cost and that is this; One, your getting to try something new and somewhat unique. Two, and here's the kicker, your bottom line cost is perhaps a bit less than if you sat down in a restaurant. If tips are expected at food trucks, I did not see any obvious vessel for the cash to go in. You can bring your own drinks, and thus your bottom line for a unique dining experience really is not bad. I for one am glad this came together. I was excited when I learned that Keller might be getting it's own food truck park, and was disappointed when I learned the plans were not approved. Somehow I think Keller's loss will be Roanoke's gain (Actually Corina T., aka the "shark lady", who I met at this event said that). From this point forward I will keep track of food trucks coming to Keller, and there are definitely a few more items on GB's menu I would like to try (Irish Nachos, Shepherd's Pie Croquettes, Fish and Chips, Picanha Sandwich). PS. If you missed it, they will be back in the same spot (at the CVS at the NE corner of 1709 and Rufe Snow) next week, 10/10/2012 from 5 to 8PM. One quick tip: Do bring your own chairs!
