Chicken Karara Chicken Malai Boti Dhaga Kabab Bihari Kabab Goat Chops
    Warisha K.

A HIDDEN TREASURE! This is a place for a meat eater who loves flavor. The meat was amazingly marinated and every item had its own flavor. That said my personal favorite was the dhaga Kabab- the meat was incredible soft and insanely flavorful, it was also quite big. Besides that the chicken karara was a favorite of my family. Every single one of the grill items we ordered was phenomenal in its own way and I can't say that enough. Each kabob came with a Naan, we got one roghni Naan which was basically the same thing as a regular naan but with butter and sesame seeds. After we tried half the grill items on the menu and were basically full, we decided to order the biryani and goat karahi. My dad described the biryani of having the smell and taste similar to student biryani he used to have in Pakistan. The karahi was also shockingly good because we were worried that the meat in the karahi wouldn't be cooked enough, which was a problem we have encountered at other restaurants before, but that was not the case at all. The flavors were dancing in our mouths and the meat nearly melting in our mouth. The customer service was also fantastic, our server Michelle was the only one working at the time and she took amazing care of us and even let us order poori to eat with our kabobs since they allowed for more of the flavor to come through. I will say that this is not the most luxurious place in the restaurant world but due to Covid and the place seeming relatively new I think that can be excused.

Stopped in for some chicken samosas appetizers and they were fantastic. Friendly staff. Tasty grub! We ordered out and sat outside around the corner to eat. Was very pleased.

    Chicken Boti Wrap

Went to Dubai hookah and decided to order from Dera Grill. AMAZING FOOD! Their chicken boti wrap is AMAZING! So are their naans! Everything had so much flavor, and their Kheer is probably the best kheer ive had! Not watery, thick and warm too! Perfect flavor! Perfect place to go to if you're really hungry and just want a desi snack. Affordable too, the wrap I had was either $5.99 or $6.99. Can't remember. Haven't tried their actual food yet but definitely will the next time I come to Dubai Hookah!

    Beef bihari and chicken karara

Stopped by for a late lunch, place was quiet. Overall clean place and the staff was friendly. Tandoori items were really good including chicken karara and beef bihari. Naan were slightly overdone but still good. Chicken Biryani was lacking in spice and flavor though. I'll stick to the kababs next time, and yes I'd go back.

The brisket was tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor, and the ribs were cooked perfectly--fall-off-the-bone good. The sides were just as impressive. The beans were flavorful, the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious, and the cornbread was the perfect finishing touch. The only downside is that it gets pretty crowded, especially during peak hours, so I recommend finding a seat as soon as you get there. Other than that, the food, service, and overall experience were fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back!

The bark on it was heavily seasoned. Beef ribs were tender but again quite dry and overly seasoned. The dish that immediately ruined our meal was the jalapeño cheddar sausage. The texture was extremely mushy and the meat inside tasted like someone already did the chewing for you. We also got the mac and cheese, corn, basbusa, banana pudding. I could explain them in depth, but I would just recommend not getting them. The brisket empanadas were the only thing we all looked at each other with excitement for! It was our favorite part of the whole experience. Total we spent was $180. I won't be coming back but I do recommend trying it out if you don't believe me!

KKC has some of the best halal fried chicken I've had in the US, especially in the DFW area. This is one of those comfort meals you crave at 9 PM on a Tuesday that can't be beat. The ambiance is that of your average hole in the wall chicken joint. Overall I rate this place 8 s/10. ------------ The Zinger burger (basically a spicy chicken sandwich) is my go to order from here, a solid 8.5/10. They always put a huge chicken patty in there and a generous amount of sauce. You really can't go wrong. Their chicken itself is an 8/10, upgraded to 8.5 with the garlic sauce. They really got the spices down right. I would not recommend the Mac and cheese (5/10), it's very watery and lacked any flavor. The potato wedges were great though. One thing to note is that some of the side dishes have different prices on online orders when you add them on to your entrees vs. adding them separately ($.99 + difference). **Average Dish Cost(s): Under $8. **Food: 3 Piece White Meat Meal ($9.28)-- I chose white meat ($.80) and extra biscuits ($1.89) which increased the price from $6.59. The chicken was extremely delicious. It tasted fresh despite my order being late in the day and the skin was crisp and seasoned so well that I ate all of it. Usually I'll peel the skin off and discard it, but not this time. The white meat was juicy and nothing pink was found. 10/10. Extra biscuits ($1.89)-- These biscuits were some of the best I've ever had. Their outward appearance didn't match how delicious they were. They were soft and had an essence of honey to them. Side Mashed Potatoes ($2.99)-- I admit I was hesitant to eat this because I expected more of a brown gravy, but these were amazing! Not too salty and they tasted fresh. **Seating: Looked to have regular table style seating that is closed off due to the virus issue. **Location: It's located next to a bunch of other establishments within a mini strip type of place. Google GPS lead me to a park that's a but away, so be careful. Lots of parking spaces.

I had this place Yelp bookmarked and I had not seen the Toyota Music Factory complex before now, so we drove the mile over. The place was empty at 2pm on a beautiful Saturday - I imagine it is quite busy when anything is playing at the TM venue. We ordered the southern fried chicken sandwich combo (to split) with fries. ($18 including tax and tip) The southern sandwich comes with pimento cheese and I find that hard to resist on any menu! - Splitting the sandwich was plenty of food to not leave you too stuffed. Casey was working the register - and maybe he was helping in the kitchen too. Our sandwich came out pretty quickly and was super hot. It was very crispy and a bit sticky, not too hot, very tasty!! Quite large too - the chicken thigh extended out quite a bit from the bun. The fries were Crinkle shape (my fav!), nice and hot, not too salty. FYI, with a combo you have a choice of only fries or mac and cheese (though there are other side options available al la cart). There was a card on the table to register to win $100 gift cert, so we both registered. Casey came by after to ask us to register, when we said we already had - he said we were entitled to a free banana pudding for doing so. Then he bought out TWO banana puddings. WOOT!! I think the 2nd pudding will be better tomorrow when the vanilla wafers have time to absorb more into the pudding. The free puddings got them the extra star. Casey was great - and really seemed to care that the few customers in the joint were happy and well taken care of. Bathrooms were clean. Couple suggestions: that they had ketchup as a "pump option" - rather than all individual packets. And boy oh boy I would have LOVED a DIET dr. pepper on tap (they had regular).
