Another one of Chicago's famous Pakistani restaurants!!! Same amazing food, great classy feel, and a name you can trust! They had an overwhelming positive response to their grand opening buffet with over 1300+ people! All raving about their amazing delicious food!!! We went the day after where they offered a limited menu of their most famous dishes! You must order kebabs- hot and sizzling off the grill with thinly sliced caramelized onions and peppers paired with made from scratch chutneys. We also got the butter chicken that was tender and super creamy! The naan was buttered and warm and was perfect with the curry. We ended the meal with some hot chai- made just right! Service was on point and they had to-go orders flying off the shelves!! So excited for this restaurant to be in Dallas and looking forward to coming back again!! Food- ***** Ambiance- ***** Service- *****

Usmania was one of our favorite places to go for kabob's and nihari when we lived in Chicago. I was so excited when I heart they were coming to DFW. We went to the iftar buffet and we were not disappointed. Food was plentiful! Most places run out of food after the first round during iftar and the wait is long for more food. They had more than enough food ready to go for all the customers. The dining area is small and our table was originally situated in an awkward spot that people kept hitting. The staff saw this and asked if we wanted to move, which we did. They quickly set up a table out of the way where we were able to enjoy our food. The customers are inconsiderate with adults and kids touching naan with their hands and putting them back on the buffet tray. They gave us fresh naan for our table from the kitchen after we told them what we say. All the meats were flavorful and well seasoned, nihari was delicious, the cha was nice and not watery. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to going back. Shout out to Shenbaz, Navya, and Syed for taking care of us.

Karahi Chicken. Ate only 1/4 of it before I decided it was not worth the money.

Menu is small which is good. Not cluttered, we ordered chicken karhi and malai boti. The karahi is very basic, oily and nothing special and didn't even look like a full chicken. . Overall the menu is pricey and the taste is very ordinary find you a better Pakistani/Indian restaurant

It's the only "fine dining" restaurant in the USA (including Chicago) that I know of that doesn't serve wine and also won't allow BYO

Our first meal in Dallas, and what an awesome experience, the decor is inviting and clean. The…read moreservice is great with a bottle of water sitting on the table. The appetizer was the raw mango salad that was very refreshing and the sweetness was balanced by the hot pepper. The entrees Butter Chicken was absolutely delicious, smooth creamy and the seasoning was perfect, you will use all of your Naan dipping it in the sauce. The Chicken Tikka Masala had an excellent depth of flavor chicken was so tender, another great dish. Great start to our Dallas food adventure.

Pulled up to Namak Indian Restaurant ready to step outside my comfort zone and try something…read morenew--and let's just say... it turned into an experience. It was pretty obvious I was a first-time diner, and I was hoping for a little guidance through the menu--but that part was kind of missing. My friend had been raving about the butter chicken, so she ordered it... and so did my other friend--who, at one point, completely stopped talking because his head was on fire. Taste buds? Gone. Brain cells? DEEP FRIED!!!!So yeah... if you can't handle spice like me, consider that your warning .They both ordered mango lassis, garlic naan, and jeera pulao. This is an important part of the story but let's proceed with caution. I played it smart and ordered the tandoori salmon. The waiter hit me with, "What about your entrée?"--sir... this *is* the plan. Then came the subtle appetizer judgment, so I asked how big it was. Based on the hand gesture? I was expecting something light/ 4 ounces or less( another fact to be revealed lately. Tell me why this "appetizer" came out as a full-on 8-10 oz salmon, covered in this *delicious* mystery sauce with red onions, carrots, and a lemon wedge. A whole situation--and honestly, the flavor was perfect. The jeera pulao on the side though... let's just say it showed up but didn't say much. Now here's where it got... confusing. Since the sauce wasn't listed, I asked an employee passing by what it was--he told me he just clears tables. Next thing I know, the floor manager comes over asking if everything's okay. I'm like, "Everything's great--what is this sauce?" He looks completely puzzled. I point directly at the salmon like... *this sauce*. The confusion was real. Then he says, "Chef made the sauce." Sir... I would hope so Since the busser didn't know. At that point, the chef comes over asking if there's a problem. I assure him there's no issue--I just wanted to know about the sauce (turns out, dill was the main note), which, to be fair, was actually really good. The chef was kind, professional, and easily the highlight of the visit. But know I'm thinking it's the sauce they used if you don't order an entree .. Meanwhile, my friends are still recovering from what I'll call the butter chicken explosion--extremely spicy to the point it wasn't enjoyable, and somehow still lacking flavor. Disappointing for one of their most talked-about dishes. Their drinks were served and although the glassware was nice the drink itself was.......?? SWEEEET ,but not for me , We wrap up, decline dessert, and ask for a to-go box. Then... we wait. And wait. And wait. It's not even busy. No check, no follow-up--just vibes. After a solid 15 minutes, we're this close to leaving cash on the table. Finally, the server comes back. We ask for separate checks--he says he can't do it on the handheld device. Yeah... that's simply not true. Modern POS systems (especially handhelds) are built to split checks, assign seats, and handle exactly that. Whether it was lack of training or effort... not sure. Or just a lazy server who gives the service industry a bad name , excuse me if this is job then DO BETTER ! But we ended up split it three ways. Just to end the dreadful experience ! Bonus moment: he asked my friends to leave review while running their cards--but he didn't asked me / since I didn't order an entree and I tipped 20%.So my 22.00 appetizer  end up being 43, with tip . Shame on you agian. All in all: great salmon, chaotic communication, spicy struggles, and a memorable night for all the wrong and right reasons
